Chapter 52 The Real Appearance of "The Last"

A City named Guarded by Mighty Warriors in the South. It was a prosperous nation with swordsmen as its warriors. Lately, it has been attacked by creatures with fangs and sharp claws. At least four thousand of these weird creatures attacked the city, yet they failed. The creatures intentions were still unknown, but it's clear that they seek blood.
Thousands of civilians died in the attack, but no warriors died. Not even a scratch can be seen on these swordsmen, even in the group called The Last. They were a group of swordsmen, and the main captain, or leader of the group, was with them. There were only three of them on the scene, and the people heard that the Captain alone slew two thousand of these killer creatures, and the rest were the last two swordsmen that were with him.
The Warriors called swordsmen on the City were left stunned by it, but still, a thousand civilians died for some reason. The reasons are that these creatures are fast and deadly, but the only thing they attacked were the three swordsmen of The Last and the civilians of the City.
A man named McKelf, a General of the city, was walking into the head office while lowering his head, which seemed unsuccessful. He was in front of the door while there were two soldiers on his side looking at him, waiting for him to pick up the door knob and open the door.
He took a deep breath, reached for the door knob, and opened the door. He walks in and sees three unknowns in the distance sitting in front of their round tables and three unknown swordsmen in the room, joined by them.
It was a giant room. There were two couches and two shelves on both sides of the room. There were windows next to the couch and behind the heads. The heads of the city made a serious expression on their faces, looking at the General.
The General reached the round table and stood in front of it, and the three unknown swordsmen stood near the couch, looking at him menacingly. The General continued to lower his head as he waited for them to speak first.
"General, this is a disgrace to our City. We are called the City of Guarded by Mighty Warriors, but look what happened. Our civilians were killed, and there were over a thousand of them, correct?" An unknown head of the city spoke. It wasn't the main head, but the one on the right side of the main head.
"It is because these damn Darks targeted civilians and none of our troops left any of them with scratches. I believe the plan of our enemy is to make our people fight us, and that's where they'll attack again, and maybe from the inside," General McKelf stated, making everyone in the room curious. The three unknown swordsmen near the couch were at ease, making them sit on the couch, but one swordsman remained standing.
"Hmm, already thoughts. I do think this doesn't prove anything at this state. You don't have any confirmation of that kind of attack coming from the inside. Nevertheless, we should get ready for another worst thing. The group called The Last said they'll be back. We haven't even given them their prices for saving our City from those creatures. I'll prepare some paperwork for the upcoming upgrades of the giant walls we have. For now, General, put our army on high alert and alert that clan; we need their help. Tell them to lurk outside and tell us if they are coming," the unknown main head of the city said in a serious tone while staring at the General's eyes.
"That will be done," the General states as he nods at the three. He turned around and thought everything was done. He was about to approach the door again when, all of a sudden, the unknown swordsman who was left standing in the room faced the General. He was in front of him as the General appeared confused about why he was blocking the way.
"General, The first thing you stated to us seems to be true. There's a mole inside this City. We are doing further investigation, yet it got us nowhere. If this kind of mole spreads, we won't be able to stop it. The tensions between people and the Warriors have grown because we failed to save an exact number of one thousand civilians," the unknown swordsman stated in a serious voice, making General McKelf take a step back.
"Give me the name, and I'll take care of it," the General stated in a calm, furious voice while staring at him. The sensation around the General changed, making the swordsman in front of him smile behind the mask.
"No, I suggest all of us will take care of it. We three heads will interrogate this mole, and the General and three of you will do the rest. If they don't speak who they work for, you four know what to do," the main head said, seeing the General turn towards him and nod the same as the other three swordsmen.
"His name is McKelf, or I'd say the General himself. Tell me, Dark Swordsman, who are you working for? the unknown swordsman stated, making the General in front of him shake his head left and right, smiling and giggling. The three heads behind the General were stunned, and the other two swordsmen were sitting on the couch. It stunned them as they stood and stared at the General.
"I don't know what you're talking about. I am the almighty General of this city, and nothing will change that. No one has defeated me yet, and these false accusations can get you killed by myself!" General McKelf exclaimed as the unknown swordsman in front of him stared at his eyes menacingly with a killer intent.
"Where did you put General McKelf? Or did you already kill him? Because that kind of General doesn't state his almighty or General. He states his own name himself. He always says I'm McKelf Aoki, not the Almighty General of this City," the unknown swordsman stated menacingly as he started to pull out his sword from its sheath with his right hand in front of him.
"This is a mistake, Captain—" a swordsman spoke when, all of a sudden, General McKelf's appearance slowly started to change. He was turning dark, and he was getting bigger in front of him. The General's appearance was lost, and the dark swordsman that he called him turned into a dark monster.
The dark monster hit its head on the ceiling and showed its claws in its hands, and he has a smiling dark figure face. The two heads were terrified and taken aback by the walls, while the main head remained sitting in his chair, not worried a single bit, and was just staring at the dark monster.
"You'll regret figuring it out because you just got all of yourselves killed! And I never thought a single human would figure it out. Your swordsmen don't seem to know it, but you, you well know it. I wonder if you're a swordsman from the group called The Last, and they called you captain. Tell me, are you the main captain of that group? It's a pleasure and honor to meet someone like you!" The Dark Monster stated menacingly while laughing outloud.
"Monster... Have you not seen? Your grave is hell. Straight up, and I'm the one who'll give it to you. So be grateful and please lower your head down so I can cut it gracefully and peacefully, but before that, I wanted to know what you did to General McKelf himself," the unknown swordsman said as he raised his head to look at the Dark monster who showed its claws. All of a sudden, the dark monster lowered his head and laughed out loud.
"Is this some kind of joke?" The Dark Monster exclaimed as he continued to laugh outloud. He kneeled, laughed even more, and started swinging his claws on the ground, leaving deep claw marks behind.
The dark monster raised its head, and all of a sudden he saw his right leg get raised and kicked him in the face. It made him fly towards the window behind the heads, destroying the wall. The dark monster was surprised as he was straight up sent outside the capital. It flew right past the main head, and the two heads were shocked after hearing a loud noise and seeing the wall broken apart.
"I'm sorry for this kind of mess, main head of the city, but I can't help it. I can't kill that monster yet. If I kill him then I won't be able to bring back General McKelf. And I'd like to warn you, he is not the only mole around here. There's more, bring me the Sergeant," the unknown swordsman stated, who kicked the dark monster. He was already behind the main head, walking towards the broken wall and window, when he spoke.
The Dark Monster landed on the ground with broken limbs and a broken face. His claws stabbed himself because of the landing. He was stunned by his strength, which he hadn't expected. A hundred swordsmen surrounded the monster, and they got their orders not to kill the monster.
The unknown swordsman jumped down from the building and landed beside the dark monster, who started healing himself. He slowly stood in front of him, menacingly angry, and couldn't believe what just happened.
