Chapter 54 The Real Enemies

"Where is Number One? She is supposed to be here at first, but I guess not. You see Number Two! We are making you choose whether we replace her or not. Now, let's see who's missing, an unknown swordsman said as he looked around to see who's missing.
They were in a sphere dimension where everywhere they looked, there was a sphere, and everywhere they looked, it was dark except for the lights that looked like crystals. A few dark unknowns were floating in the dimension.
"Oh, that's right, it's the Fifth, Seventh, and Fourth that are missing, and the rest are here, but of course the First is missing. And a visitor is here, the Sixth Dark Deity. We are surprised that you got here that easily, the same dark swordsman stated. This time he was giggling, and he kneeled down to the ground.
"We are growing rapidly. I suggest we take a step forward and make some great use of our great soldiers, Like Ahma, and not just simply destroy villages and kill people," another unknown spoke. The unknown who spoke has a number three in pitch black written on his glowing mask's forehead.
"Oh, come on, killing them is fun! They are tasty, and humans are great nutrients for our body, but as always, there are consequences. This time, this human soul hunts as in our dreams. In our heads, no matter what we do, it's just how it works," an unknown girl spoke. She was a small kid sitting in the air with her sword on her lap. The number on the forehead of her glowing mask can't be seen clearly because of another swordsman in front of her.
"She's right, isn't she? Well, it does do it, and what's worse is that they'll drag you down somewhere and keep whispering to you, Why would you live and why would you take if yours is not taken? Sometimes it's the people we devour," another unknown spoke, who appeared to be old and have a giant sword behind its back.
"We must be wary about the Number One. She's acting strange. The Number Two spoke in a menacing tone as he looked around and saw that no one else was there but them. They couldn't also see anyone coming in anytime or any second, which made them wonder even more, Where is the Number One?
"We see... The Number One isn't coming by all means. She must be up to something or just wondering in the human world. She must be having fun with a man or someone else. Having fun in a fight, after all, she likes fighting and doing dirty things with humans." An unknown swordsman stated, crossing his arms together and showing a concern face.
"What? You jealous?" The Number Three asked as he smiled at him and saw him blush for a second. They all then proceeded to see Number Two, who was suddenly in front of a spiral portal. They were all shocked after seeing him holding a portak with his bare palms.
"Impossible, a Circling Spiral Portal with his bare hands! How much energy have you consumed in the last hundred years?! You must be serious that you're actually destroying the human race this time!" The little swordswoman said in surprise. She sees him close his left hand, and all of a sudden the circling spiral portal closes.
After a second, the air in front of Number Two started to crack like glasses. All of their eyes widened when they suddenly saw a void. It was a deep darkness that made their eyes widen in fear.
"You... No! You're not serious are you?! The Number One achieved that technique long ago and now you've achieved it also! Don't tell me you're trying to take over his spot as Number One, which made me wonder why the Number One isn't here," The Number Three stated in surprise as he took a step back, seeing the Number Two is acting strange. He drew his sword and showed its color.
"Hey! Have you lost your mind? Do you really think by copying the Number One you could win? Come on! You gotta think something better than that!" the little swordswoman stated in an angry voice, staring at him menacingly.
"I indeed copied the Number One, step by step, but that doesn't mean I will beat her with those. I also have my own and the other copied abilities. When I'm done mastering everything, I could be one of the great destroyers who tried to destroy the human world. But at this time, I'm not planning to destroy the human world. I will be just a conqueror. These destroyers of ours in the past failed because humans felt they were threatened deep to the bottom, which gave them strength. Every human is unpredictable, and once we cannot destroy them, then the only thing that can destroy them is themselves," the Number Two stated menacingly to them, giving chills to their spines.
"Now, the intel. It's mine, I have it. There are certain groups who are hunting us. I Kurigami, one of the Sixth Dark Deities, will tell you all what you need to know. One of the groups is the Senzi Clan, a clan that is said to be one of the fearless of all time. They are sending swordsmen outside by this time without the heads of the City of Woods knowing. I got to tell you, they are powerful and—" Kurigami stated when all of a sudden he was interepted when the Number Two raised his right hand after withdrawing his sword.
"Give us names," Number Two said in a menacing voice as he sat in the air. He stared at him, who didn't even sweat while looking at them all.
"The only name I know is Captain J. He is a powerful young fella. We let him live because we wanted more in the future. In case he grows stronger, then we will surpass him by all means," he answered as he cleared his throat and continued.
"Now the second. The group called the Devil Lads... Known to be more Devil the we are. They are known as swordsmans in the Ocean. I don't know the names or where they are really from, all I know is that they sail with a warship. Next is the Hidden Swordsman's known as the Hidden Leaf's. Before I continue, this three groups that I stated killed Deity's, almost as strong as the Number One. But we are just the Sixth, the Fifth and the First of us is stronger. Now, the group called The Last comes in as the Fourth one in my opinion. Since I don't know much about them but they are hunting us all over the globe. Be wary of them, they are dangerous, and no matter what you do, don't fight their leader," Kurigami stated in a menacing voice at the end of what he stated.
Everyone became curious about the group called The Last, which made almost all of them smile. They realized that the name sounded familiar, and they started giggling. The smile behind the mask of Number Two can be seen, as Kurigami doesn't seem to understand what's happening.
"Ah. Yes, the group called The Last. That damn Captain! He annihilated six thousand dark wild beasts with the claws of our army. He's a one-man army. Yes, I wouldn't want to fight him alone. There were three of them and we made them think there was less of our army. We only made them kill civilians. Tsk, I never thought that the group called The Last would be that strong and big of an ideal, the Number Three stated while smiling as he raised his hand and saw a deep sword cut in his wrist. He then remembered a swordsman slicing it with a flaming blade.
The mark on his wrist won't disappear, even though he has incredible healing abilities. He then raised his head to look at Number Two, who seemed furious while looking down on the ground.
"Then maybe it's time for ourselves to act. We are getting hunted because they think we are weak, and these humans are not ordinary humans. They are strong and have capabilities that surpass us, and probably even more we couldn't achieve. Now's the time, my fellow Darks. It is time to hunt them down one by one," the Number Two stated menacingly as he glanced at them, and they all seemed to agree.
They all turn around where Number Two is looking, and that's where more than just hundreds of thousands of deadly wild creatures are waiting to get released in the wild and wreck havoc. It was frightening to see their giant claws. There were a lot of them, and the others except for Number Two seemed surprised to see a lot of them.
"These creatures are evolving themselves. I can sense it; they are strong, and they have the same smell as the Number Two. Probably he merged some of his cells inside them in order for them to become strong and durable in a fight. But leading this many could backfire. There are always consequences," the little swordswoman thought as she began walking toward the deadly creatures in the far distance inside a darkening circling portal.
