The Plot

As the dust settled from the collapsed tower, the group found themselves standing amidst the ruins, their victory a bittersweet triumph. The destruction of the demons masquerading as gods had freed the tower's prisoners, but the world outside was still ravaged by chaos.
Elara, her gaze fixed on the horizon, spoke first. "We need to regroup and plan our next steps. This battle may be over, but the war is far from won."
Kael nodded in agreement. "We have to address the creatures and the remaining chaos. There's still much to do."
Nathan, ever the joker, gave a weary smile. "No rest for the wicked, right?"
Lina, her thoughts on her missing sister "We will find her. And we will rebuild." after drinking from her bottled water
The group set off towards the nearest settlement, hoping to find allies and resources to aid in their next mission. As they walked, Christian, his rubber chicken tucked safely away, kept close to Selene. He couldn't shake the uneasiness from earlier.
"Selene," he whispered, "do you think we'll really be able to fix everything?"
Selene glanced down at him, her expression softening. "We have to believe we can. We've already done the impossible once. We can do it again."
As they reached the outskirts of the settlement, they were greeted by wary but hopeful faces. The news of the tower's fall had spread quickly, but no one completely understood its story
Elara addressed the gathered officials. "The tower is destroyed, but our fight isn't over. We need your help to restore our world and protect it from further harm."
On the other side of the world, Jeniel looks at the tabloids with hopeful and sorrowful eyes. The news of unknown people claiming that they destroyed ‘the tower’ is everywhere
The demon and Christian’s faces are now evident, and she smirks “Long time no see, huh? Will you ever realize that what you destroyed isn’t ‘the tower’”
“Niel, the great one wants to see you. Head to the office now”
Approaching the office, she felt the intimidating atmosphere inside, she faced the imposing figure of Igneel, the entity that had once caused fear and uncertainty. But now, with a new perspective, she couldn't help but notice the changes in him.
“Until when are you going to call yourself ‘the great one’? it’s embarrassing”
Igneel with golden eyes looks at her from head to toe before speaking “Grew up so fine, huh?” smirking, she can’t help but notice the big changes Jeniel experienced
“Well, Igneel knows how to take care of me” Smiling sweetly, Jeniel knows how to tease ‘the great one’ clearing her throat, the great one can’t help but feel irritated
“It has been years, you protected this world as you can. Do you want to acquire an award?”
rolling her eyes, she answered “Bringing back Sherry here…” Witnessing how Igneel expression changes into a pissed one, she changed her tone “I want to meet them!”
this is the ‘entity’ that they have feared once, the one with Igneel’s body and the one who’s guiding them right now
Nodding, Igneels hair bounces and Jeniel can’t help but think that this mister looks magnificent if ‘the great one’ is on his body
“Admiring my prospect, aren't we?”
Spooked, Jeniel can’t help but feel disgusted “Please let Uncle Dion and everyone meet them”
sneering, the great one can’t help but point out “Even that old one?”
“Grandpa soldier is a must! I know Master misses him too”
Accepting it all, she doesn't really like the old hag Richardson. He’s the reason why the team initiated the attack with these so-called ‘allies’
“I guess they also deserved an award for clearing that lower tower”
Happy with the news, Jeniel looked forward to their reunion. What would be their reaction when they all found out that their ‘fight’ was not the end of it all?
The realization hit them gradually, like a creeping shadow that couldn’t be ignored. The signs were subtle at first: the emptiness of the once-bustling cities, the desolation of landscapes they remembered as vibrant. Their victory over the tower felt hollow, the world outside a stark contrast to their expectations.
One night, as they sat around a campfire, the truth began to unravel. Elara, ever the observant leader, voiced her growing concern. "Something isn’t right. We’ve been moving for days and have encountered no significant resistance. Where are the survivors we hoped to find?"
Kael, his face etched with worry, nodded. "And the few we’ve found… they speak of years of chaos. Far more time than we experienced inside the tower."
Nathan, added, "What do you expect? We stepped out into a different world. One where time moved on without us."
Selene looked at him, in wary
Christian, his little voice trembling, said, "You don’t think… the tower wasn’t the main one, do you? What if we only destroyed a lower-ranked tower?"
A heavy silence fell over the group as they processed this revelation. Selene, her eyes filled with a mix of regret and determination, finally spoke. "We were deceived. We spent years fighting inside that tower, thinking it was the source. But it was just a piece of a much larger puzzle."
Christian, clutching his rubber chicken for comfort, whispered, "Then… what do we do now?"
Elara stood, her resolve firm despite the weight of their discovery. "We continue. We find the true tower. We save those who remain. This fight is far from over, and we owe it to everyone who believed in us to see it through."
Their journey resumed, each step heavier with the knowledge of what they had lost and what still lay ahead. The world was in ruins, and the few survivors they encountered were living testimonies of the horrors that had unfolded during their absence.
As they neared another settlement, more dilapidated than the last, they were approached by an old man. His eyes were weary, but a flicker of hope shone through. "You’re the ones who brought down the tower?"
Selene nodded. "Yes, but we’ve realized it wasn’t the end. There are more demons. We need to find and destroy them." and looke at Nathan whom she thinks know something
The old man’s expression hardened. "You’ll need all the help you can get. There aren’t many of us left, but those who remain are ready to fight."
Their numbers grew, slowly but steadily. Survivors, once hopeless, now rallied behind the promise of true liberation. Among them, whispers of the ‘true tower’ began to circulate, and their path became clearer.
On the other side of the world, Jeniel watched the unfolding events with a mix of pride and sorrow. She had hoped their victory would be the end, but she knew better now. The true tower still stood, and the war was far from over.
In Igneel’s office, the atmosphere was tense. “They’re coming to realize the truth,” she said softly.
Igneel nodded, his golden eyes reflecting the weight of their burden. “They’ll need guidance. We must prepare for the final confrontation.”
Jeniel’s eyes gleamed with determination. “I’ll bring them here. They deserve to know the full extent of their fight.”
As the group, now a growing army, approached the final leg of their journey, they knew the stakes were higher than ever. The world was on the brink of destruction, but hope flickered in their hearts.
With a unified cry, they marched forward, ready to face the true tower and the demons within. The final battle awaited, and their story was far from over.
