Chapter 14 Don't Get Mad at The King

Siera is headed towards the palace library after finishing her breakfast in order to learn more about agriculture that she may not be aware of. While the king is responsible for dealing with an external matter concerning the kingdom, the queen is responsible for dealing with an internal matter. But Siera never simply focuses on the internal matter; she goes out of her way to help her husband deal with an external issue as well.
She notices a young woman with silver hair sitting alone in the garden on her way to the library. Even from a distance, Siera is certain that the woman is Lyn. She is attempting to ignore her and proceed on her own, but it appears that Lyn is not feeling the same way.
"Good day, your highness," says the female werewolf graciously. Siera simply nods to acknowledge her greeting and continues to walk away.
"Your Majesty! Your Majesty! There's something I'd like to discuss with you," Lyn said timidly as she followed the queen. She appears to be scared, yet she insists on following her.
"I'm quite busy," Siera says flatly.
"I! I just wanted to apologize for offending you previously."
"Have you waited long enough? It has been one month."
"I'm just afraid of you, and Gwi, I mean the king, won't let me join you at the meal again. So..." Lyn raises her head to check on the queen's expression.
Siera is giving her a cold stare because she just addressed his husband by name, even though she quickly corrected herself. Siera wonders if she will continue to call Gwi by name when they are alone informally like that. As a result, it irritates her even more.
"I'm so sorry... I'd watch my mouth," the young woman said timidly as she realized why the queen was getting angry again. She must exercise caution.
Siera remains silent and continues to walk away, leaving the werewolf alone.
"Please don't get mad at the king," Lyn says, she continues to speak. Siera inhales deeply and turns around. She looks at Lyn with a silly expression; why does this young woman urge her not to be angry at her husband?
"You may feel uneasy knowing that the king has spent a lot of time with me, but it's all because I asked him to accompany me because I'm lonely here. Please don't get the wrong impression; if it wasn't for me, I'm sure the king would likewise make time for you; I apologize for the king's behavior."
Lyn appears timid and does not dare to look directly at Siera; her eyes are watery. But something about her words don't sound right for Siera. It's as if she's attempting to convey how much her presence and words influence the king's behavior. Who does she think she is?
"Don't be concerned. I was the one who advised him that he needed to treat you as his guest with respect so that you could feel at ease in the palace. And I wouldn't be furious at him for attempting to be nice to his guest simply because she is a woman, because I am well aware that I am his sole wife and his queen."
Lyn appears surprised by the queen's statements. She does not anticipate the queen speaking in such a manner. She wanted to demonstrate to the queen that Gwi was always kind and caring about her. But when the queen proudly declares her status as Gwi's wife, she is powerless to contest it.
Siera notices Lyn's loss of words, which makes her satisfied. She triumphantly smirked before turning around and walking away, leaving the young woman dumbfounded.

"Then choose this person for this job," Gwi says, handing a piece of paper to his personal secretary that shows the identification of a farmer from the capital. Thierry gently nods to the king and exits his room to conduct his work.
   "Knock, knock, knock"
"Have you forgotten anything?" Gwi does not look at the door since he is preoccupied with the documents. He expected Thierry to return to get something he had left behind.
"Is your majesty busy?" asks a cheery female voice. Gwi raises his head to see Lyn standing in front of the entrance, her typical timid smile on her face.
"Yes, is there anything else I can do for you?" While Lyn approached him, the king arranged the document on the table.
"I just need someone to talk to. But if you're busy, I'll leave," the female werewolf asks timidly. Despite her words, her look says otherwise. She is adamant about not leaving.
"If you want to wait for me to organize these documents, then we can talk."
Gwi examines her expression, and Lyn beams with delight as the king allows her to stay.
"Then let me assist you in organizing it!"
    "Fine"
