First Unbearable Scar

Chapter 12 “First Unbearable Scar”

“No, no! Let me go!” Allen yelled out in protest while being dragged out of the car by the two men. They were now in a some kind of storage facility of. A few minutes ago, Allen awoke, and he was still experiencing feelings of dizziness and weakness.
“It’s been a long time, hasn’t it, Allen?” a well-known voice gets into Allen’s ears.
Allen froze and slowly raised his head. He noticed a person who was dressed in a black suit, similar to the one that was worn by members of the mafia. He knows him because that individual came dangerously close to doing something to him at the last time they met.
“What do you want now?” Allen asked firmly. He tried his best to not show his fear even though his heart was trembling. He was scared.

[FLASHBACK]
It was around midnight, five years ago, at Allen’s house.
“Stop! Please stop! Give me some time! I promise I’ll pay you…” The living room was filled with the sound of Allen's father's pleading voice. It roused Allen from his sleep. As soon as he opened his eyes, he heard another thing, “No! Don’t kill me!”
Instantaneously, Allen leapt out of his bed and peered out from his room. But, he slipped and the door was wide open.
“Who’s there?!” a heavy man’s voice shouted.
The moment Allen laid eyes on the stranger, he was overcome with terror. On the stranger’s arm, he had a large number of tattoos, and he was very tall. Following closely behind him was a man of average size who dragged Allen's father down with him. Allen could not help but notice that the guy had a very attractive appearance. But, that was not the point now.
“Why didn't you tell me that you have a beautiful… son?” the huge man grinned at the other man.
“Take care of him,” the good-looking man said as he gave Allen’s father to the huge man and pushed Allen into his room, locking the door from inside.
“What do you think you’re doing?! Back off!” Allen ordered as the man entered his room.
“Shut up…” the man said as he pulled Allen, preventing him from moving.
“Please let me go!” Allen pleaded. When it came to strength, the man was just unbeatable. He pushed Allen and landed on the top of him on Allen’s bed. Allen exerted as much effort as he could and struggled. He sensed that something terrible was going to happen to him, and tears began to pour from his eyes.
“Please don’t do this to me…” Allen begged and cried.
“You can pay all your father’s debt by sleeping with me…” the man offered. “I promise I won’t interfere with your family life again.”
“No! Let me go…” Allen begged weakly. His power was gone because struggling so much.
“You give me no choice,” the man said as he ordered the huge man outside to come in and bring Allen’s father. Then, he gave a glowing thing to Allen’s father.
A knife.
“Let me go…” Allen still begged.
“I want your son’s blood. It’ll longer out deal, and one rule, you’re the one who takes it…” the man spoke. Allen was trembling. He knew what would happen now.
There was a debt owed by his father to Swan Family, who were known as the loan sharks. For a long time, it was a well-known fact that dealing with Swan meant dealing with your own blood and your life. As a rule, they had a custom of taking the blood of their ‘borrower’ in order to keep the transaction going for a longer period of time. Many of them died because of ran out of blood.
“No! I’m not in debt with you…” Allen said as he cried.
“I’m…I…I’m so sorry Allen,” his father said as he walked toward Allen’s bed.
“No! Stop it! Please stop it, father! AAAAAAAAAAAAA!” Allen screamed as the knife cut through his back flesh. Blood was flooding the bed. He was dying. Blurred, but sure, he saw the man left the room.
There was a scorching sensation in Allen's back. A glimmer of light struck his gaze. He was able to recall it, as well as the actions that his father had taken against him. He shed tears that were intolerable.
He had no idea how much time had passed until he was able to feel a hand gently caressing his hair. Indeed, that was his mother. When his mother arrived home and discovered that her son was on the verge of passing away, she immediately took him to the hospital.
Allen wished that he had actually passed away so that he would no longer had to witness his mother crying for him, as she was doing just now at his bedside. The anguish is simply too much to handle.
[END OF THE FLASHBACK]

“Still haven’t changed, have you? So firm on the outside, yet weak on the inside…” the man teased.
“Stop teasing me, Kanae Swan. Tell me your purpose in bringing me here…” Allen interrupted. He knew he might not be able to go home safely. He was scared. Deep down in his heart, he was calling Kaien.
“Let's make a deal…” Kanae’s voice echoed unusually, his inhumanity can be seen in his eyes.

It was already nine in the evening and Kaien’s patient was running out.
“Brother… I’ll go to sleep now, alright?” Dominique finally made his decision after yawning a few times. “I’m going to Ben’s apartment…”
“Ok…”
“Brother…”
“Hmm?”
“Don’t think too much,” Dominique tried to reassure his brother. “I’m sure Allen just needs to take care of something.”
“I know…” replied Kaien even though deep down he did not agree.
“Brother…”
“What again?” Kaien almost wanted to burst into anger but tried his best to keep calm because of his brother.
“Nite~”
“Have a nice dream, Dom…”
After Dominique left, Kaien was left alone. He had a great deal of concern for Allen. Despite the fact that he had called Allen hundreds of times, Allen did not pick up the phone.
The clock had shown midnight time and Kaien was still sitting in the living room, waiting for Allen.
‘Allen… Where’re you?’ thought Kaien. Followed by a yawn. ‘Do you know that I’m dying here… Worried about you…’
Kaien felt his eyelids were so heavy… and yet he still wanted to wait for Allen. He did not know when he fell asleep on the couch.
