The Truth

Chapter 20 “The Truth”
“Sigh…I’m sleepy…*yawn*…” Nathan talked to himself as he walked on the street. It was all last night's ‘activity’ fault. Benji had gone easy on him, but he still felt tired. Making love… was just too exhausting for the dolphin boy.
Nathan was about to cross the zebra cross when he saw someone he knew. That person was Allen and he was alone in the park. He waited for the pedestrian light to become green. He wanted to greet Allen.

“Sigh...” Allen sighed. He felt unwell, he knew his body was burning from inside. He was having a fever because of the rain. He had been in the park since Kaien left him.
He looked up again. The frozen sky still had not changed.
‘How long have I been here?’ Allen asked himself.
He did not have his watch or any of his belongings. All of them were left at Kaien’s apartment.
He looked down again, into the ground. No one was in the park, he was totally alone. Well, the park was kinda quiet all the time, just few children or people came to the park. That’s why Allen liked it. It was so quiet and it made him feel calm. But now, the calmness eats him, he hates it. No one was there for him.
Suddenly, an unknown hand grasped him from behind. Allen was shocked. He tried to let himself free, but he was too weak. His struggle was no use for the owner of the hand. He felt so dizzy. Without him knowing it, the attacker had put an anesthetic into the fabric that he put on Allen’s mouth.
Allen had fainted.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nathan crossed the zebra cross in hurry and arrived at the park. He looked at Allen's supposed-to-be position, but there was no one there. Nathan decided to go search around the park.
He was looking around when he saw a familiar figure being dragged into a black van. Nathan rushed to the black van once he realized who it was.
“Let him go!” Nathan shouted to the men who were dragging Allen.
“Take care of him,” one of the men said.
A huge man blocks Nathan’s way. Nathan was afraid but he knew something bad was going to happen to Allen if he did not stop the men.
Nathan was about to shout for help, but the man covered his mouth first. He was struggling as hard as he could. He could not be caught either. Without any other choice, Nathan kicked the men’s private’s part, leaving the man screaming in pain. But he was too late. The black van already goes away.
“Allen!” Nathan shouted as the black van disappeared.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Benji could not believe what he just heard. Kaien had told him everything, about his breaking up with Allen, about the photos. Benji took the envelope from Kaien’s hand, opened it and saw the photo.
It was Allen and…
Kanae Swan…
On a bed…
But still fully-clothed…
Benji knew stuff about Kanae. He hated him. Kane was the one that hurt Allen the most. But he did not have a clue when these photos were taken. And Benji was 100% sure what’s in Kaien’s mind when he saw this, since Allen had not told Kaien his background. But still, shouldn’t Kaien listen to Allen first? Allen did not even know why Kaien broke up with him.
Benji could not hide his anger anymore. He was mad at Kaien. Shouldn’t Kaien trust Allen more than these untrustworthy photos?!
“Kaien! What the heck do you think you’re doing!” Benji shouted.
Kaien was shocked. Of course, he was. He thought Benji would be on his side, since Allen betrayed him.
“Ben…” Kaien was about to ask why Benji was mad at him, but suddenly, someone opened the apartment door, leaving a big fuss.
“Ben! Allen is…” Nathan shouted as he tried to catch some air. He knew that Ben would be in Kaien’s apartment because there was no one in his.
“What happened to Allen?!” Kaien asked worriedly. He did not know why, his mouth acting before his mind. He was supposed to not care about Allen anymore, but his heart told the opposite. He could feel his heartbeat fastening. It was like… something bad had happened to Allen.
“He’s…”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nathan went to the nearest police station and asked for help from the police. Meanwhile Kaien and Benji were running on the street. Benji knew that Allen was taken by Kanae, and Kaien… he knew he was wrong, he knew everything. Benji had told him all of it; about Allen’s family background. Kaien regretted it so much. Why did he not ask for Allen’s explanation first?
He was just being too emotional and selfish. He hated himself. But that was not the point now. They need to find Allen as soon as possible. Luckily, Benji knew Kanae’s hiding place. Kaien just prayed that they would get there in time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Allen could feel a few men around him even though he was half conscious. His hands and feet were tightened by rope. He knew where he was going and he was so afraid. The memory about their last meeting comes into Allen’s mind again.
[FLASHBACK]
“NO! Let me go!!!” Allen shouted as the two men dragged him out from the car. They were in some kind of storage. It was not others, but the 7th storage of the City Harbor. He just awoke a few minutes ago. He still felt dizzy…and weak…
“It’s been a long time, hasn’t it, Allen?” a well-known voice got into Allen’s ears.
Allen looked up. He saw the man in the black suit, like a mafia’s one. He knew him because that person almost did that to him at the last time they met.
“What do you want now?” Allen asked firmly. He tried his best to not show his fear. Even so, his heart was trembling. He was scared.
“Still haven’t changed, have you? So firm on the outside, yet weak on the inside…” the man teased.
“Stop teasing me, Kanae Swan. Tell me your purpose in bringing me here…” Allen said. He knew he might not be able to go home safely. He only could think of Kaien and was calling for him in his tiny heart.
“Let's make a deal…” Kanae’s voice echoed unusually, his inhumanity could be seen in his eyes.
“You know the deal was off…” Allen almost whispered.
“Nope, it’s on again. Your father borrows more money from me…” Kanae said as he walked toward Allen.
“Don’t touch me!” Allen shouted when Kanae pulled him. Allen struggled, but Kanae was more powerful than him, especially because the anesthetic was still working. Allen was pulled into a room, there was a bed in it. Allen felt his fear; he knew what was going to happen if he did not escape.
Kanae laid Allen on the bed, top of him. Allen was still struggling. Forcefully, Kanae ripped open Allen’s shirt, forcing kisses on his white chest.
“No! No! Don’t do this to me!” Allen cried.
Luckily, Allen succeeded in punching Kanae’s face and made him fall. Allen immediately ran away. He kept running; his foot would not let him stop. Sweats and tears were falling at the same time.
He stopped when he finally arrived in front of Kaien’s apartment. But, the fear and the sweats were still there. After a few seconds he heard someone’s step. Kaien was the one who brought Allen back to his apartment.
---
“Damn it!” Kanae Swan cursed when Allen escaped from him. But he still won, he knew Allen’s relationship with Kaien and he got the things that could shatter it anytime he wanted. His subordinate took a few photos of him and Allen on the bed. After lots of thinking, he decided to send it to Kaien one day after Christmas, since he knew it would hurt Allen and Kaien the most.
