The First Kiss

Chapter 7 “First Tears”
“Allen...” As Kaien comforted Allen, who was crying, with an embrace, he murmured. “It's ok. If you don't feel like talking, there's no pressure to do so.”
“Kai... I... I...” Allen had not yet stopped crying.
“It's ok...” Kaien said.
“I am not going to continue living like this any longer!” At the same moment when Allen was going to weep himself to sleep, he let out a startled scream. Kaien was taken aback by the sudden outburst. He never imagined that Allen would behave in such a way. That there was certainly something wrong with Allen. He felt certain that Allen was unwell.
“Allen, please stop crying,” Kaien squeezed Allen’s arm more tightly. “Allen...”
Kaien attempted to soothe Allen, but Allen's condition only worsened. Not only were his cries uncontrollable, but the shaking that followed them was also uncontrollable.
“Just kill me already!” Allen let out a yell.
This was too much for Kaien to bear any longer.
SLAAAPPP...
The tears that Allen had been crying had stopped. It was then that he became aware that his cheek was beginning to hurt. Kaien had just slapped him. Kaien appeared astonished in front of him. He had changed his mind about inflicting harm on Allen. The words that Allen just said have, however, caused him to feel a great deal of rage.
“Allen, you can't talk like that!” Kaien exclaimed. “What life is... You don’t know what the end of life is!”
“There's nothing you could possibly know about me!” Allen muttered and was pushing Kaien away.
“Allen, wait!" Allen was about to flee when Kaien raced up to him and gave him a hug while trying to stop him.
“Let me go! Let me... go... just... don't... hurt me... anymore...” Allen broke down in tears as he finally allowed himself to give in to Kaien's hug.
“I'm sorry,” Kaien muttered as he squeezed his friend even more tightly.
“Kai, I... I...” Allen's eyes were about to fill up with more tears when he was suddenly distracted by something.
Kaien kissed him. Allen let Kaien's tongue to journey in. Rather than getting irritated or feeling embarrassed about the situation, Allen mused to himself, “It's warm...”
In the passionate kiss that they had, both of them contributed to it. They had been kissing for such a long time that they were both out of breath, and they ultimately made the decision to break up the kiss.
While the two of them were together, Kaien discreetly led Allen back inside the flat without expressing a single word. While he was doing so, Allen leaned his head back and buried his face in Kaien's chest. Allen had no idea which of the two was to blame for the burning sensation on his cheek; it could have been his fever or it could have been the kiss. It was embarrassing for him.
It was his first time kissing someone.

Kaien positioned Allen on the bed and then sat him down. Upon raising his head, he noticed that Allen was staring at him directly. It came to his attention that Allen's cheek had a slight redness to it. He was worried that Allen was going to have the fever again, so he swiftly placed his hand on Allen's forehead. He was anxious that Allen was not getting better. However, the fever that Allen was feeling before did not come back. That was for sure.
“Kai... don't leave me...” Allen whispered.
Kaien flashed a grin. In a moment of clarity, he realised what had been going on with him over the course of the previous several days. It was clear that he had formed feelings for Allen. From that point on, it no longer mattered to him that he and Allen were both of the male. He wanted nothing more than to bring a smile to Allen's face and to prevent him from crying any longer.
As Kaien kissed the top of Allen's head, he assured his friend, “I won't leave you, I promise.” It was more pleasing to him to watch Allen blushing like this than to have him crying. In fact, he was unable to bear the sight of Allen sobbing.
After giving Allen a hug, Kaien continued to lie down next to him. Allen hid his eyes by closing them. He was able to recall what had actually taken place.
[FLASHBACK]
“I am sorry that I have caused you so much, my son. And I would like to make amends for it tonight. Do you mind if we eat together? Together as a family?” Allen's father, who was already very tipsy, said.
Allen had some reluctance. He did not remember when he had last spent some time with his father. It had been an extraordinarily long time since he had had the opportunity to spend some time with his father. He made the choice to make the most of this chance. He needed to make some adjustments to the way he lived his life.
“OK... Where?” Allen asked.
“All you have to do is wait for me in the park,” said Allen’s father, which sounded suspicious to Allen’s ears. “I need to go somewhere first."
---
While Allen was standing at the park, he expected his father to appear at any moment. He was completely preoccupied looking at the watch that he wore on his wrist. There was already 6:15 o'clock in the evening but there was still no sign of his father anywhere to be seen.
“Is he going to come or not?” Allen pondered. Because he could not let go of this opportunity, the potential to put things in his life back on track, he made a decision that he would hold off for a little while longer.
“Hey,” a mysterious voice, calling Allen. As soon as Allen turned his head, he became aware that two people were walking toward him. One of them was holding a stick in their hand at the time. Just looking at them, he was able to identify who they were. They were associated with the unscrupulous loan sharks that Allen's dad dealt with. Almost immediately, he became conscious of the events that were truly going on.
His father lied to him again.
His heart appeared to have been shattered into a million pieces. And something terrible was about to take place to him if he did not leave that place as soon as possible.
One of the men turned to the other and asked while grinning. “How much do you think he's worth?”
Allen shifted his foot slightly. He thought if he could sprint away from the two men, he was able to escape! Nevertheless, one of the men grabbed his foot first, which resulted in him falling to the ground immediately after. At the moment that Allen was going to open his mouth to call for help, one of the men seized him before he could even open his mouth.
‘No! Let me go!’ Allen's thoughts erupted into a yell.
After facing a great deal of resistance, Allen was eventually successful in kicking one of the other men. He used his fist to strike the other individual. He ran away from the scene, tears flowing down his cheeks, since he was so afraid of what was happening. For the moment, he just wanted to be with his mother. But his mother was already dead and being apart from his mother was a terrible experience for him.
Instantaneously, Allen made a hasty escape and fled into the bushes to conceal himself. He was lucky that he managed to get away from the loan sharks. He fell to his knees in tears as soon as the first raindrop made contact with the ground. Allen was completely unconcerned by the wind, despite the fact that it caused him to shiver.
[FLASHBACK END]
“Kai...” Allen called.
“Hmm?”
Allen mumbled, “Thank you...” before drifting off to sleep.
