Defeating the second prince gives me one seed for creation. As well as two of his skills. I didn't knew how that happened at first but— 『Confirmed. The skill status can acquire skills of a defeated boss from the status chosen skills. With this the host can have the skills and ability took from the defeated or killed boss.』 Yep, that happened. Status was upgraded and he became like this. I also didn't know he would become stronger and stronger the moment he leveled up like a total game, I understand that. Now that I think of it. The first brother gave me chills earlier. He thinks I didn't know that he supported my second brother so he kept on making me feel inferior. I still remember what he said. 'The world of the strongest, you don't belong too.' I shook my head and remained quiet the whole time while father and the rest talked about stuff, I mean only father seemed active and talked about a lot of stuff you know? These people—my brothers don't seem to be the same. Second brother was so defeated that he didn't take it lightly. The first brother enjoyed the feast of eating human meat, the two idiots—I mean the fourth and third were listening to their father so I'm very impressed they listened to this old man's preach. "The winner of this duel, you Lucifer, what is that you seek? I will do what I can to grant it. So go ahead and tell me what you like." That's the first time he has acted like this. I'm very surprised he still cares about the rewards he will have for his son. Thanks to him mentioning me as the winner, the second brother reacted and broke the glass he was holding. He seems very upset about getting beaten by the fifth prince that is reacting angrily. "Hmm, Leo, what's wrong?" the second prince—ah that's right, Leo Springgun, that's his name. The first brother is Shiden Springgun. The third brother is Martin Springgun and the last, the fourth is Daze Springgun. The second brother flinched and turned around. "Nothing father, forgive me." Father nodded and he looked at me. "So, do you have anything?" Is this another one of his disguise traps? I'm very not sure if I can trust my father, he has done so much that is considered untrustworthy in his life, trusting him is very risky. "I am not going to eat you up, now tell me before I change my mind." That doesn't change my mind though. I had no idea what came to his mind or thus his intentions regardless of what he was planning. So trusting him now will surely put me at disadvantage once he shows his true colors. I have no intention of leading my own death or any harm that would come to me. Father is no exception, he is the most dangerous being around this place. I can't trust him as much as he likes. However, if he really plans on giving me something. I wonder if this is really free or not. Though I need something from my father in order to survive this place—not with my brothers teaming up with each other to fight me into my disadvantages. If my memories serve me right. There is a labyrinth in our kingdom, leaving the Ogre Clan is not acceptable for royalty while the war for succession is not yet done, so there is only one way I can manifest this power of mine. I have to defeat the labyrinth. The tower of labyrinth is like a fortress to heaven. Once you participate and enter the labyrinth, chances of leaving that place is 20%—if one passes 10 of the levels. This will give them a chance to choose whether to continue moving up the labyrinth or leave the labyrinth. The survival rate is so cruel so only few will probably choose to leave. Though many people will probably stay due to the reward of the labyrinth, and the wealth it can grant to the champion of the labyrinth. No one won the tower, those who proceed to the highest level will likely survive and die. The tower is managed by the tower management, and it means the labyrinth is a game for most of the people. A game that will either drive one crazy or not. I could use the power of the tower to train and practice my own skills and abilities. The status is one thing, but most of my skills can either be offensive or defensive. The tower has all that requires me from leveling to the top of the status rank. I looked at my father and nodded. "I wish to have access to the labyrinth." He at first didn't seem to like my reply but he ended up nodding. "Which one?" Is he worried? I think I saw him flinch in disbelief but maybe I just mistook it for disappointment. "Tower Of Azerien," it was called that way because of how notorious the tower is. Those who enter have a low chance of survival, and those who were able to get back have been destroyed due to the effect of the tower. Which is why I am going up that tower—excites me for unknown reasons. Father looked at me and then he turned to look at the other brother, which I did the same when everyone was so shocked that they couldn't say a proper word. Of course I know why. That tower is a place a man can never escape from like a battlefield filled with dangers along the way to survival. Going there is a death sentence to both physical and mental conclusions. "Are you crazy!?" Father exclaimed in dismay. He doesn't sound like a person who's happy about this but of course he sounded much more madder than anticipated. Anticipated? I think this is the effect of being in this body—of someone—of a monster that even my senses have been affected. Ah, maybe I've slowly become part of that ogre. "No, I am a serious father." That moment he remained quiet, the atmosphere was not as hostile as the first time I stepped inside of this place. Father was lost in thoughts, my brothers weren't interested and it seems they wished I didn't survive the tower. "Lucifer, the tower is not a place such thing as 'going on vacation' but a place that will lead you to a limitless slumber, do you understand?" Do I look like I don't understand the danger? Although I'm more confused as why does this old geezer worry about a son he neglects and watches as being bullied? That's an absurd sight. "Yes, I know, this is my wish, will you grant it?" He took a long stare before he nodded. "Fine do as you wish." *** The dinner father planned ended in disaster. The second prince—my brother desperately asked for a rematch because I easily defeated him and his so-called 'powerful' skills but with the accident in the capital, father had forbidden the fight from happening in the center of the capital. So in order for us to have a simple duel—without killing each other, father decided to propose the arena that would likely give us chance to fight each other and following the rules of the arena but because I am not available when I participate in the tower, I propose brother that he should participate in the tower as well. Father didn't like the idea of sending two princes in the tower so the second brother had no choice but to retreat from his plan of revenge. Honestly, after defeating my brother, the first brother agreed to my request after the tower. I don't know why but brother just took my side like I didn't hear him calling me a weakling. And I don't trust him and his guts. The first brother is cunning and a bully, trusting him will likely mean that I am stepping on a floor filled with thorns. I walked back to my room to reinstall all the information I had gathered. When I was walking in the hallways, I met a few servants who instead of walking past me, they ended up running away like they've seen a psycho on the loose. It was very annoying to see people just run away from you, and it's unpleasant as well. I thought of asking some servants but like the others, they run away like I am going to eat them. Do ogres usually have the hobby of eating others as food? No, I don't think so cause I'm too pretty to eat such a thing. The hell am I talking about? I think being avoided is just so painful. 『Possible Answer. The host had bully the servants and they have grown tired and frightened of the host's appearance』 『The host reputation is above the criteria—for the host to be friendly with servants, now the host reputation had become unstable in which people avoid the host of such reason』 Hmm, I see... Thanks Tartys... So the only way I can communicate with the servant is by changing the reputation of the 5th prince... I guess that wouldn't be a problem, I can do much to change his reputation but the problem is who should I talk to first? Mostly because some servants run away when I am in front of them so talking to them is hard.
