"Not anyone I can think of " Louisa briefly said and went silent again. Do-Hyun gently robbed her shoulders~his eyes instinctively fell in Pandy's and they both sighed. “ Can we have a look around?...maybe we might find something to assist our investigations?” He asked. Louisa skeptically stared before giving a nod~ with that, he toured around, taking shots of anything that might be of need. Pandy was staring at one of the frames on the wall but then spotted something off, checking at the other family pictures on the cabinet. “Can I get a glass of water?” She requested and Louisa left for it. Knowing she was gone, Pandy raised the turned-down frame which was lying flat, face down, and realized it was Fredrick's. “ Why is her husband's frame turned face down?” She thought as she tried to analyze the reasons but then, Louisa cut in. “ Your water” She offered, returning to her seat. But then, she was pulled to her feet again on noticing Do-Hyun. “ No~ sorry, you can't go in there” She shouted which froze both Pandy and Do-Hyun to a halt. They both scanned the door which looked like a storeroom and back at Lousia, quite confused – which instinctively made her wear a faint smile. “ It's our storeroom~ it's quite messy in there.” She explained. Just then, Pandy's phone rang. On reaching for it, she announced. “ It's Livvy~ ” turning to Louisa, she mumbled. “...excuse me, a minute.” Do-Hyun and Lousia just nodded as she stepped a few steps away from them. Do-Hyun kept gazing at her back as she attended to the call. “ Alright...we'll be right away~” He heard her say. On turning, their eyes met and she signaled for their leave to which he instinctively jerked to his feet. “ Sorry for your loss and inconvenience this evening ~we need to get to the office now. Something came up” Pandy explained and Louisa nodded. “ I hope my husband gets the justice he deserves... That's all I wish for .” She requested as she saw them to the door. “ We promise~ We'll do our best,” Do-Hyun assured and Pandy nodded with a faint assuring smile. “ We'll let you know if anything arises .” She added and Louisa thanked her. Out on the concrete, Louisa watched their car slowly pull onto the main street, and soon, their back disappeared into the distance. “ Livvy said they've found something~ we'll get to know when we get there” Pandy explained as they passed the first traffic light. CRIME UNIT The moment they got in, Pandy was the first to head out into the office. “ Come on, I'll introduce you to the Major Crime Unit forensic team...and we continue from there” She explained. He closely followed as they traded their way through the halls and soon, Pandy made a halt in front of one of the offices, pushing it open. “ You're here...” Livvy called from the desk. There were three more people apart from Livvy and Randolph but these two were the only ones among the 5 that Do-Hyun could make out since they had already met earlier. “ Look...” She went on, pointing to a spot on the picture which displayed a few bullet wounds on the victim's leg and arms. “ It was a close shot inflicted by a sawed-off shotgun.” “ Can we get records of people in possession of such arms, Delia ?” Pandy said, turning to a blond-haired young lady in a blue blouse and a knee-length fitting skirt. With a nod, she turned– her fingers clacks away at her keyboard, pulling up several windows across the three monitors on her desk. The rest stared in silence. “Oh, guys... I forgot ~” Pandy broke the silence which brought everyone's attention back to her. “ Meet, Do-Hyun, our new teammate~” She introduced. “ Do-Hyun, meet Delia Hughes, our data analyst and digital security consultant ” Pandy explained and Delia nodded with a smile. “ Nice to have you here ” She welcomed. “ I'm Timothy Benson~ a forensic specialist ”, the dark-skinned young man introduced. As if on an impulse, he turned to a warm beige, dark-curl-haired young lady a few meters away from him and smiled. “ ...and our one and only Criminal Profiler, Hart O. Walter...O for Oliver. ” He said which made everyone crack up with laughter. “ I bet for these two you already met...” Pandy asked and he nodded. “ Glad to meet such a great team...I'll do my best in my field too.” He said and everyone smiled. Just then, Delia called their attention to the screen. She had drawn out some notes and files– among were some pictures from the crime scene, a closeup of the bullet casings, and then, profile information. “ Frederick himself registered one a couple of months ago.” She said, putting to the profile. “ Just a few months before his murder?... This smells fishy~” Randolph mumbled in thought. “ Did Lousia say anything about break in or threats?” He asked, turning to Pandy and Do-Hyun. “ No...nothing of the sort–” Do-Hyun answered, and on an impulse, he asked. “What of the watch? did you find anything ~ that might shorten our search list.” “ Yeah...the wife did confirm it belonged to him,” Pandy added. “ Any further information or traits?”. “ Tiny spots of blood and hair were retrieved~ the results should be out in the morning.” Livvy updated to which they all nodded. “ What of the autopsy?...we don't know the cause of death yet,” Pandy asked and quickly, Timothy cut in, stretching out a sheet. “ I have the results and the ballistics analysis.” He said. Do-Hyun and Livvy quickly scanned at it. “ Our killer did him dirty– ” Livvy cried. “ The brain went dead for about 30 minutes before his death. Internal bleeding and brain damage, highlighted as a cause of death.” She hinted. “ Frequent physical altercations and questionable use of force on his or her victim and at a location like Haven Vacation home without anyone catching a hint~ we might be dealing with a skillful murder. ” Hart gave a preliminary profile on the culprit. “ This should help know who you are searching for. “ And was careful enough to get the blind spots of the cameras as well~ nothing was captured on the CCTV when we checked,” Randolph stated. “ Only the day the three checked in and checked out.” “ This wouldn't be as easy as we thought,” Pandy stressed. “ I don't think so, Pan” Do-Hyun mumbled.
