Alarmed, the two ducked, their hands instinctively reached for their guns as they made a careful crawl to the door which divided the hall from her private investigative room. The door inched slowly open; Hyun was the first to take a peep but found no one except the crashed hall~ Pandy who scanned out afterward instinctively shot out. The place was in a total mess– pieces of glass scattered here and there; a few broken plates and something more alarming, a note. Something in red was written on the wall, “ WE MEET AGAIN ”, it read. The two chanced closer to examine, it was not just red but blood. Pandy flinched, her knees intuitively gave up and she crippled to the floor but Hyun held her mid-way. “ It's him...THE HOLY MURDERER ” He said, almost in a whisper. Pandy knew without a shadow of a doubt that his hunch was right. He had been monitoring them all along~ her thought nudged. He hadn't just been hiding but keeping track for the right time, Hyun convinced himself. He knew they were looking for him for the past years so came after them– he was teasing them. The thought of the person behind the tree back at the scene soon flashes in her mind. “ That must be him” She exclaimed which made Hyun scan at her with a look that just gave the question, “ Where?" “ Back at the scene~ ” She stuttered. “ I noticed someone behind the trees~ that must be him.” She hinted. Just then, a sudden motion jostled a flower pot off of its shelf which made the two spin towards the direction of the noise. They held their breath in alarm~ a sound of hurried footsteps spontaneously geared in which made them dash to the door leading out of the house. Pandy pressed against the wall and Hyun stabbed at the door– a silhouette soon dashed past the glass window which caught their attention. “ Now...” Pandy whispered and the two intuitively flung out. The silhouette dressed in all black from up to down instantly parachuted into the woods nearby unto the road. Pandy and Hyun immediately raced after him. They chased after him like a whole pack of wolves, at least if they could make out his face~ catching him later would be easier. The empty street greeted them when they finally hit the road. He was gone, no trace at all. “ Damn!” Pandy growled, shooting a blow in the air. “ We lost him?” Hyun asked, closing up on her. Pandy who was by now, catching on her breath, nodded. “ He was in a mask so I couldn't make out his face either. “ He explained. For now, it seems they'd lost their opportunity to make out who the HOLY MURDERER was– they had no choice but to return. Pandy for sure knew trouble was brewing. They must expect the worse and be alert in all ways if they'll be able to win this battle. **************** As they entered the compound, the approaching sirens halted them in track. Do-Hyun had alerted the team about the attack for investigation purposes. Lizzy who was the first to shoot out of the car hurried to Pandy~ wrapping her in a hug. “ Hey...” She cried, spinning her around as she scanned. “ Are you alright?” Her eyes told how worried and frightened she was. “ Yes...” Pandy nodded. A sense of relief washed over her~ “ No one was harmed.” She confirmed and the rest sighed in relief. “ I don't know what's happening but I think you should stay off this place for now~ I'm sure he might come back again.” Pennel expressed. “ We'll see if we can get something in there that can pinpoint the culprit.” “ Stay with me for now” Lizzy offered and she nodded. “ Let me get a few things.” The place was soon secured for the collection of any evidence available. Lizzy escorted Pandy to pack up a few things while Do-Hyun helped the rest in the hall. They momentarily took a few clicks here and there. “ What time was it when you checked ” Pennel queried as he scampered through the broken stuff on the floor. “ 12: 30am~ we were working out some stuff at her study when we heard the noise.” He explained and Pennel kept nodding as he checked on and noted down a few things. “ We didn't know how he got access to the passcode of the lock but there he had.” “ That's strange~” Pennel paused, his brows furrowed– his gaze drawn into confusion. “ Who could it be then?” He thought. If it's someone who knows her passcode then it might be a close person. He analyzed. Just then, something caught his attention. A blood stain on one of the pieces of broken glass and a hair strain. “ We should get this examined as soon as possible.” He said, handing it over to a forensic member who wrapped it in a small plain plastic bag and headed out. After all, was done, the place was locked up. Do-Hyun returned to the office and Pandy went home with Lizzy. FDA BANKING The day after, the news of Fredrick Hartson's death had already spread like wildfire through the company with almost everyone talking about it. Gideon Fallony, Benson P. Bruce, and Dennis Bolton who were with him at Haven were all interrogated but had bluntly denied their association with it. “ Fredrick left the vacation home a day earlier before the due date.” Benson had made it known to Pandy. “ Dennis left the same night as well but quite late, around midnight.” “ Any reasons for that?~ did they say anything ?” Hyun briefly asked. “ No... All I know was they had an emergency at home.” He further explained. Gideon who was the second to be interrogated said the same but had more detailed information. “ I heard him talking to someone over the phone before he left~ ” “ Can you describe how it was?~ an argument or anything of the sort?” Pandy asked and as if he was turned from a trance, he nodded with a yes, yes. “ I overheard him say something about family~ I think it was with his wife.” “ Mrs Lousia?” Pandy asked and he tilted his head in affirmation. Do-Hyun and Pandy instinctively shared glances and fixed back on Gideon. “ Did Dennis move out of Haven that night too?” “ Yeah... I heard his daughter was called in sick.” “ What time?” Hyun asked. “ Around midnight?... Not so sure though ” He said, not so certain. Although all three had confirmed their whereabouts that night, Pandy had doubts. She kind of found Dennis suspicious but the cut on Gideon's wrist got her thinking– it kind of looked fresh, that wouldn't be a cut from the incident. Do-Hyun kept wondering why Louisa would lie about her husband's visit to the house before his death~ this tells a lot, she must be hiding something or protecting someone. Who or what could it be, he thought. Other colleagues were later interrogated to find out if there might be someone they knew, who could have had a grudge or issues with him as well but no clear individual was made out.
