“ Are the results out?~ need to confirm something” Pandy said over the phone as they trod out to their vehicle. “ Yes, Pandy~ our culprit was the same person who invaded your apartment.”Timothy made this known over the phone. Louisa who had already pulled up at the parking lot noticed them slide into their van. She was on the phone with someone. “ What?” She gasped, her skin flushed with dilated eyes– and her gaze flashing with nervousness as the male voice over the phone ordered. “ what should I do...what should I do?” She fidgeted, running over the words. “ You must leave now~ and don't go back to the house. You need to stay hidden for now.” He instructed. “ I'll meet you up later at the address I'll send you.” The call ended thereafter and a ding sound returned her gaze to the screen. “ D'ROSE VILLA, Hs 105, Flora Street~ 300 meters out of town.” the message stated. Without hesitation, she ceased the black Mercedes out of the lot and zoomed off. Hyun noticed the odd speed at which it flared past them but was too busy to worry about who the driver was. He was comparing their evidence so far to know who was lying and who was telling the truth. Just then, it caught his attention~ the thing they were missing out so far. “ His phone and the gun, both were not found at the scene” Hyun noted. In the last footage, they saw him trod out with his phone patched to his ear but it was nowhere to be found at the scene. Maybe the culprit took it since it contains something that might link him or her to the crime. “ Gideon Fallony~does it ring a bell?” Timothy said and Pandy smirked, her eyelids lifted with a faint smile. “ Gideon~ just as I thought. Thanks, Tim” She said and dropped the line in the process. Hyun whose gaze was thrown to her after the mention of the name knew exactly what it meant. Not saying much, they both raced back into the company's complex. Gideon who noticed them on the ground floor intuitively took to his heels~ “ Hey !” Pandy shouted, racing after him. “ Stop there!!” Hyun tailed as well. But he showed no interest in halting~ the complex was drawn into screams and terror as Gideon tossed over anything that came his way. Even individuals were thrown off. “ Sorry..., sorry” Do-Hyun howled as he raced on. They could have gunned him down but considering the number of people around, that wasn't the best option. Soon, they were out of the complex. Pandy who wanted to halt him by hitting his legs, made the first-second shot but missed. Gideon instinctively scaled over the wall the moment they got to the backyard– Pandy and Do-Hyun scaled as well but he had already eased into a cab nearby before they could get him. “ Let's go~ Let's go” She repeated, re-tracking her steps to the parking lot where they'd left their van. Just when they settled in with Hyun taking the driver's seat, the van zoomed off. “ Quickly, track down Gideon's whereabouts... we lost him,” Pandy instructed over the phone. For a few minutes, she stayed silent as she waited for a response. “ Pinkland Street....second traffic light, heading towards the exit of the town” Delia updated and Pandy repeated to Do-Hyun's hearing~ quickly, he turned to it. “ We're headed over –Announce a roadblock at a half-mile radius and alert the road patrol team with the others as well...give out his description as well." “ Sure... I'll get back to you,” Delia said and the line went dead. Soon, the police radio in the dash blared and Do-Hyun answered. “ Please check on Lousia and re-interrogate her...she knows something about this.” He said and Livvy well understood. The line thereafter went dead and his focus was fully turned back their tracks. " We'll be on him at the next turn~” His hand turned on the sirens which instinctively got the other vehicles ahead to retrieve out of their way. ************* The police vehicles in the company of Livvy team's van soon flooded Louisa's compound. Armed with their guns, Randolph and Livvy led the team while the rest secured the house in a full circle in an attempt to trap her down if she attempts to escape. With a communicative glance, Randolph signaled Livvy to make a ring while he waited–alert. The first two rings came without an answer and they finally decided to break in. Landing three heavy foot stamps and a body slum, the door finally broke open~ exposing the dark empty inn of the hall. As if in an ambush, they searched every corner and length of the rooms but found no one. It seem it had been empty for a couple of days. “ She's nowhere to be found ” Livvy announced, standing faced up at Randolph as she descended the last stair. “ Have you checked the garage?” “ Yeah...” He nodded, his gaze drawn in displeasure. “ Empty as well...I think she already bolted.” “ Let's search around~ maybe we might find more glue as to where she might have fled to.” Livvy hinted and Randolph totally agreed with it. Soon, the group was drawn into action. The officers searched the rooms upstairs while the two with a few other officers searched the hall and the kitchen area. For over 30mins through the search, they had nothing so far. But then, as Livvy passed by the storage room, the locked room caught her attention. It seems to be the only locked-up place in the building~ this didn't sit so well with her detective consciousness. So she decided to break in. With some effort, she got the door opened. She slowly turned the light on and stepped in. She carefully scanned the room, it looked quite organized. Two huge shelves sat across each other from the opposite walls, containing both sacks of items, metals, paints a few sharp objects and more had their spots as well~ just like most storage rooms looked like. She searched for a while but found nothing but then, as she turned to leave, something caught her attention from the right corner of the door. It looked like a small safe. “ What do we have here?” She mumbled to herself as she towered over it. Crunched on one knee, she pulled it open and that was when she found it, the last missen evidence from the scene– Fredrick's phone and a pistol. “ Randolph !~ over here!” She called out. In a blink, he was already in. “ Found anything ?” He asked from the doorpost and she flanged the items which were now secured in a plain bag in front of him. “ Our culprit...” She said.
