CHAPTER XV: MUDFACE

DAUGHTY'S POINT OF VIEW
I was in the middle of being a dramatic mother as I saw her eyeballs move. "Wake up, grumpy little lady. Don't be mad at mommy." said and hugged her.
Tears slowly streamed out of her eyes. Oh, my bad. I can't see her cry. It just made me feel weak.
"I know after knowing everything, you'd want to see your father." I presume and her eyes suddenly stopped crying for a while, but as soon as she stepped her foot on the ground, she almost sat down on the ground and cry.
"W-what should I call you now?" she asked me.
"Silly you, of course you are my daughter so call me 'mommy'," I said.
I held back my tears and went to my late husband's grave. We sat on the grass and I looked up at the sky. "Oh hi, Mr. Grumpy. Our daughter really caught your traits.," I said and laughed, Mackenzie on the other side held back her tears and pouted her lips.
I wonder how her mother could live without her daughter for about 18 whole years. The years she really needed a mother.
"Honey, I know I promised that I would only tell her the truth when she's already 25, when she's already married with the man of her life who will turn her into a whole woman…" I looked at Mackenzie, she's still holding back her tears.
"...but she already found him. I am so happy." I said and I saw how she knitted her eyebrows.
"Don't hold it back, dear. You can always cry on me. I'm just here, Mackenzie."
After those years that I have mistreated you, Mackenzie. I know you deserve everything in this world. You treated me as your real mother, obeying all my words without disobeying anything.
I wished I could tell you that but I wanted you to think that I am not weak and that you can lean on me.
As soon as I tapped her back, she burst into tears and grief, "I-I know it has been a hard time for you seeing me every time you wake up, Mrs. Gavin and I wanted to say sorry. I have caused you a lot of trouble."
My heart was shattered into pieces as I heard her. "Y-you are my daughter, okay? You don't have to call me Mrs. Gavin, Ms. Gavin or what…"
She's a great mother isn't she? My heart skipped a beat everytime she talked. I just love her. I love everything about her. I just wished I could stay with Mrs. Gavin or should I call mommy as long as I'm alive or better yet live even longer than I would.
"...just accept me as your mother, Mackenzie. Is… is that fine with you? Because I can not let a good daughter go. If I could just own you without telling your mother how you are doing. I would do that. But your mother still deserves to know how ya' doing." mommy said.
She's really a strong woman. She's facing the result of her husband's mistake. She gave me all I needed for the past years of my life but now, she's giving me the only thing that I've missed for a long time. Her care and love. She's now showing it, even after those years she held her anger towards me. She accepted me.
She has been the most gorgeous woman I've ever met. Inside and out.
"Are you ready to know your real mother?"
I was stopped by her question. Am I ready? After what happened today, I think it would be just fine if I take it slow. No matter how eager I am, wanting to know who my real mother is, there's something holding me back.
I don't know what it is but I'm sure that this would make me walk the right path.
"Ale... " someone called from behind.
"What do you need from my daughter, indecent man?" my mouth went agape as I heard my mother. Rude. HAHAHA.
"I-I just want to talk to her, ma'am. I'll do everything just to win her heart back." he said while his eyes were reddish.
"Kiss the ground." mommy said while holding her phone and looking at it.
"B-but someone was buried here—" he didn't finish what he was saying when mommy looked at him.
She's not even glaring at him but he did knelt down and slowly lowered his head but my mother's temper went away and she pushed Uno's head, instead of waiting.
Uno's lips were now filled with mud. I didn't realize earlier that my mother just poured water on it before pushing his head.
"That's what a cheater gets." my mother said and glared at him.
"C-can I have your daughter back, ma'am?" he asked but my mother just laughed sarcastically.
"Oh, did I tell you that after doing that, you'll have my daughter back? I just said something over the phone. I was answering riddles and I went kinda interested as you knelt down, so… sorry but not sorry."
Burned.
Uno walked away, wearing an irritated face. I was still shocked when my mother faced me.
"What? That's what your father didn't get on me because I love you and I love him but I don't love nor like that Uno. Eww. Why would I love garbage just because it's from elite people? A trash is still trash." she said and smirked.
I laughed as I realized Uno's face a while ago. It's not that I want to take some revenge but I kinda like to teach people lessons and I think I got it from my mom. I saw her point a while ago. He's testing if Uno's really serious with me. But he failed the test. My father said when I was a kid, "A woman with a one ball can hit two birds with it, but if a guy can't even notice one is not a man."
"You should go back to Uno." my mom mandated.
