THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW "Gracey! I missed you so much!" the lady said as she turned around to see Gracey and the warden. She immediately went to hug her tightly; it was warm. Their body somehow recognizes that embrace. Maybe because they're twins? "How's everything?" she immediately asked as she opened the lunchbox she's holding. "Fine." Gracey shortly said while still being guilty of what she had done to her sister. "How could she smile at me and talk to me as if I've never done something bad to her before? How could she refer to me as her favorite person? Why did she visit me?" Gracey said in her mind. Questions ran on her mind so crazily that she couldn't take it anymore. This lady in front of her literally deserves everything that she kept away from her. She deserves a happy and peaceful life but Gracey gave her sadness and sorrow. Little did she know, Mackenzie also thought like her but she just remained happy in front of her sister to comfort her. She badly wanted to cry as she saw her twin sister's situation. She is not the fashionable Gracey that she met before. She was admired by Mackenzie as she believes that she is a strong woman because she can show off her emotions without being afraid. She is showing her grief, madness, happiness and all when Mackenzie can't do that. She could barely talk. She's the woman that Mackenzie wanted to be. She's almost perfect. She was admired by almost every student of their school. She was Mackenzie's favorite person even if she made her life crazily miserable. Gracey is talented, genius and gorgeous. She always wears fabulous clothes, designer bags, expensive shoes and unique gems on jewelry. She had everything that a woman could have but she refused to appreciate. Mackenzie was simple yet Gracey envied her. Mackenzie owns every little achievement she wanted. Gracey never won over Mackenzie when it came to academics. She was a genius but she always landed in second place. Gracey once wished to be Mackenzie as Mackenzie wished that too. They do not appreciate what they have and they envy the things they have in the first place but they just don't pay attention. They were blinded by looking at the wrong angle. "I prepared this for you! Look, I bought lasagna. Mama said you eat this every time you feel..lonely. I-I'm really really sorry that you ended up here." she said with teary eyes. Mama? Is she talking about our mother? Gracey asked in her mind. She got the box from her as she was too shy to refuse the kindness that her sister showed even after the things she has done, "Thank you but you don't have to be sorry. It was my fault that I ended up here. You shouldn't be stressed out about me, okay? It will be bad for the baby. It would be bad for my nephew." Gracey kidded to lighten up the situation. "Hey! Why do you all think it's a boy?" Mackenzie replied. "Nothing, haha. By the way, thank you for this." she murmured and pointed at the lasagna. "And please extend my gratitude to Mama. As well as my apology for not letting her go here." She covered her face with her hands as she was ashamed of what she had done. "I-I just don't feel like talking to all of you after everything I've done. I know I've left deep wounds on you, guys. I'm sorry." Gracey added. "Shh. Gracey, I know it has been hard for you too and I wanted you to know that I've already forgiven you." Mackenzie said and hugged her sister. As soon as they looked at the things they had and recognized it… that's the situation when they have really forgiven each other. "Would you mind if I go now, I-I need to visit someone." Mackenzie said and Gracey nodded. They left that place while their faces were dripping wet as their tears were flowing, nonstop. They really love each other from the very start, they just don't want to admit it. "Hermosa-Cruz, you have a visitor." the warden trailed off. A lady with her hair tied up, showed her usual cruel and cold expression. She threw her cards away and hissed as she heard the warden. She stood up and walked towards him. How could she refuse him? She would definitely have problems when she did that. She can't control them. Not until they finally assassinate the president and her sister, Hesa Hermosa Roberto replace him. No one knows she was an Hermosa, except for the government. She was told by their father to run for vice president and they will do the rest. Her father, Mr. Hermosa was a former dictator who was replaced by Markian's grandfather. What were the other things that were fake? What is their real plan in the first place? "A-aunt Gian..." Mackenzie exclaimed as soon as she recognized the lady in the orange shirt. Gian immediately clenched her jaw as soon as she found out who her visitor was. "Here comes the great child of a mistress." she spit those words like it was poison. "B-but it is not my fault, is it?" Mackenzie replied, still sniffing from her conversation with Gracey. "It is, Mackenzie. This is all your fault. Every little thing happened… this is all your and your descendants' fault. Do not ask me why, I'm not interested in answering." she said and stood up. She despises the root of her evilness. She didn't want to tell Mackenzie those words. She still has a conscience. Only if that did not happen, maybe everything would be going well now. Maybe none of them were inside the jail. Maybe everything was different from what it is. "Warden, we're done talking." she said and was about to walk away when Mackenzie spoke up again. "Aunt Gian… I would like you to know that I already forgiven you." she whispered under her breath. Just at enough volume for Gian to hear. Her eyes were shut open and her heart stopped beating for a while. Mackenzie was a great lady. She shouldn't have experienced this. That incident has surely made an impact on Gian that's why she did that to her. As soon as she realized that, her cold expression came back. "I should be the one who should forgive you, Mackenzie. Sorry not sorry but I cannot." she hissed and walked out. I am the one who should be forgiven? Why? That's what Mackenzie asked herself. Through her walk, Markian called her and she hurriedly answered it. She was puzzled by Gian. What was her real point of doing this to her? [Markian: Love, are you already done? I'm worried, love and I know grandpop is worried too. Let's go? I'll be waiting for you at the parking lot.] Mackenzie just nodded while still thinking about what her Aunt Gian told her. She detest Mackenzie and that's what she thought. "Yes, love. Just a minute. I'll talk to someone." [Markian: Can I come in? I don't feel easy, love. Please.] She sniffled and heaved a deep sigh. "Come on, I'm just alright. Please stop worrying, okay? I'm fine. Totally fine and happy. My sister and I were finally okay!" Mackenzie reasoned out and let out a fake laughter. [Markian: Are you sure, love? I can go right there in just a few moments.] "Hey, I'm totally fine. I'll just look for someone and I'll go there, okay? I love you! Bye!" She hung up the phone with a heavy chest. Markian's mother really detest Mackenzie. If that's the case, who would Markian choose if her mother told her about the real reason behind it? "Hi, Sir. I would just like to ask about Drew Nueva. I'm his friend and I came here for a visit." she told the police on the counter of the men's cell. She smiles at him while playing with her hands. She's here to talk to Uno. She is nervous about the fact that she could meet the guy who tortured her, physically and emotionally. Still, she has forgiven him. She wants a peaceful life...it would just start if she began to let go of those memories and start a new life together with the calendar's shifting of year. "Just wait here, ma'am. I'll be heading to his cell." he said and smiled back. After a minute, a guy who has short red hair came up. He's still who he is. Well, except for his short hair and Markian's face. "U-uh—" "What are you doing here?" Uno cut off her words. He's still that guy...who disrespects women. Mackenzie almost burst her emotions out but she cried instead. She pity him. Why didn't he just change? She pity him for the fact that she couldn't do it. He had the chance and Mackenzie hoped that she could change. There's still a chance for every person. That's what Mackenzie always believes. "I said, what the heck are you doing here?!" he shouted and stood up. "Why do you need to shout?" Mackenzie shouted back. "Ask yourself why are you shouting back!" Uno shouted back. They ended up laughing silently at each other as they saw the people looking at them. What a moment. Mackenzie thought Uno could have changed but she's glad that he did not change his real attitude. She's happy that he is still the jolliest person she knows. Like how he was when they were just kids. "Do you still love my sister?!" Mackenzie shouted again. She thought Uno would still answer like how he did a while ago but he remained silent. "Sorry..." Mackenzie whispered as soon as she realized what she had said. Uno was the type of guy who's being silent when you've said something wrong so Mackenzie shut her mouth too. "Nah. You don't have to be sorry. I should be the one who needs to say sorry." he stated carefully. "But you just followed what Aunt Gian told—" "Don't you understand, Ale?! I am wicked! You should be angry at me. I ruined your life!" he shouted. Mackenzie stood up and glared at him. "There! I am mad at you! Look at my eyes!" she trailed off and laughed silently. They're totally making a scene now. "You haven't changed, Ale. I wish… I just wish that I could do what you're doing. You are precious, Ale. Your worth is much higher than any gem in this world and I hope you know that." "And so you and my sister are. You should know that, Uno. May you start to love my sister genuinely." she stated and smiled at him. "I will." Uno shortly said and smiled back. A thought came out of Mackenzie's mind, again. She's making a huge scene and a huge mistake. "Don't you dare to disobey me. I will surely cut your head!" she shouted which made the people around them look. She laughed at Uno as she looked at his face. Uno was shocked with his eyes and mouth wide open.
