When Jordan arrived at the airport, he was checked in and took his seat. He would be in Newton city in forty minutes time. He looked at his wristwatch and knew he would arrive at the exact time and head straight to the superintendent's office. As he sat down, he closed his eyes briefly and was lost in thought. He wanted to investigate who that lady was. He doesn't feel good that he was leaving Abuja so soon. He wished he had another one week to spend, he would have found out who she is. He would call his mother and tell her to ensure she protect Jora very well. He doesn't feel safe with anyone unknown to him. Rachel was kidnapped back then and how she ended was no longer a story that is convenient to tell. He was hurt and was still feeling hurt. He had apprehended all those who had a hand in her kidnap but overnight, they all were poisoned to death. He couldn't get a clue to the mastermind of the one those boys worked for. Just like that, the case died a natural death. His mother had pleaded with him to stop investigating further. She was scared. If the one who sponsored those bandits was capable of poisoning them right in the police custody, then he or she must be very powerful. But someday, he would reopen the case again. And the investigation wouldn't be so glaring to all like it was when Rachel died. He missed her. She was his soulmate and his long childhood friend. They started dating while in college and only got married five years later, when they both had left school. But the marriage only lasted for two years before he lost her. But he would revisit the case again and get to the root of it. Suddenly he heard someone talked to him and snap his eyes open: Surprise as he squinted, staring at her, again? TINA'S POV I got into the plane, and the first person I turned to look at by my right side was the fellow I met twice the previous day. What is it about this guy and I? I looked at him intently, this time he wasn't putting on a dark shade but his eyes were closed and his head was on the rest. I took my time to scrutinize him properly. Such a guy with a perfect height and a great physique. His pointed nose slightly raised up as if it was going to kiss the roof of the plane. His thin pink lips were attractive and for the first time in my life, I sincerely admire a guy. His eye's lashes were long and his V-shaped jaw was alluring. He looked really handsome and charming. We had met at the amusement park and engaged in a mild combat. We parted ways without saying a word to each other. At the mall when I went to get some groceries, I saw him afar, walking into the supermarket with the same blonde haired girl that I had admired at the amusement park. But this time, an older woman was in their company. He Walked in and I saw him look in my direction. I looked away and concentrated on picking my items. It was only for me to see him approach me and try initiating a conversation. I knew he wanted to find out Who I am. But I wasn't going to give him the chance to know my identity. I ignored him and got all I wanted before leaving the mall. But seeing him sitting right next to me makes me wonder why the coincidences. I would have assumed that he was trailing me but he arrived on the plane before me. I had a good staring at him and just uttered. " I don't want to believe you are trailing me" I said, straightening myself properly on my seat and putting on my dark shade. I know he wasn't sleeping. A bodyguard doesn't sleep like that. As expected, I saw him snapped his eyes open and look in my direction. I wasn't staring at him, but I was observing him from my split vision. He stared at me for a while and then wore a grin on his lips. "We meet again but I won't mind trailing you indeed" He replied and looked at me from my head to my toes, scrutinizing her. It was his turn to scrutinize me as well. He wasn't having that look of someone who is stealing glances but made sure I know that he was scrutinizing me. I remained expressionless and had that poker face as if I wasn't the one who talked to him first. He looked at me enough and then looked away. I was glad the flight was not more than forty minutes and I will soon arrive at my destination. We've been on air for fifteen minutes already. Wasn't he a bodyguard to that blonde? Well I kept my thoughts to myself and didn't look sideways again. He didn't talk to me again as well. We both remained in our separate world. But I know he would be wondering why we meet three times in less than twenty four hours.
