Chapter 19 Boring

Star-studded nights more or less can cheer up Kirana. The stars are like friends to a girl who in fact lives alone in a rented house. Of course also with the singing voice coming from his cellphone.
At that time, Kirana was stunned when she suddenly received a message from someone who was instrumental to her. A male figure like an angel from the first time we met.
"It's a holiday ..." Kirana muttered while wiping the remnants of her tears.
In general, a boss will send messages only during working hours. However, this time... even on weekends, Kirana's boss either intentionally or not sent her a short message. According to Kirana, the contents are a little strange.
[Other than weekdays there might be some free time, sir.] Kirana sent that reply with a bit of doubt in her heart. He was afraid that the reply would offend his superiors.
[Tonight I mean.]
Not even five minutes later, the reply notification from his boss was already perched at the top of the screen. Then, he glanced at the message before he opened it.
Kirana took a deep breath after knowing the contents of the message. He suspected that his boss was sending the wrong message. Because, the message does not seem to have anything to do with work at the restaurant. However, Kirana certainly could not deny her superior's request. He also wanted to or not have to remain polite and friendly even though conversing via a digital message only.
[What is it, sir? It just so happens that tonight I don't have any work to do.]
Kirana's reply was using the most polite language. He also doesn't know what his boss's attitude - Fahri - is like. Is he the type of person who is very sensitive or just the type of person who is very relaxed when dealing with messages via green applications.
Just now Kirana was grumbling in her heart, suddenly a phone call came to her cellphone.
Mr. Boss Fahri. The name listed on the screen display at that time.
"Why is this Mr. Fahri ..." Kirana grumbled while scratching her head.
Kirana thought that her boss would only convey something via chat. Eh, it turns out oh it turns out, he actually called right away. In fact, that night ... Kirana was very lazy to communicate with anyone. However, what can I do… it's really impossible if he dares to reject the phone call.
Then, feeling lazy and annoyed, Kirana shifted the green phone image up. However, he still remained silent for a moment.
"Kirana ..." Fahri's distinctive baritone voice sounded quite clear in Kirana's ears.
"Yes, sir. What's wrong, huh?" Kirana said in a voice that seemed very detectable if she had just cried.
silence. On the other side, it seems Fahri is guessing Kirana's voice. Because, Kirana's voice doesn't usually sound like someone with the flu to Fahri's ears. However, it seems Fahri chose not to ask this. He was afraid that Kirana would feel uncomfortable.
"You were the one who met Shinta at the Dandelion Cafe, weren't you?" asked Fahri who deliberately provoked Kirana. Not intending to interfere, but Fahri just wanted to make sure whether Shinta was lying or not.
Kirana was certainly very surprised. He moved the phone screen away from his ear. Hold it tightly with both hands.
'How did Mr. Fahri know? I didn't tell him. Shinta is also impossible,' Kirana thought.
In his heart various kinds of questions arise which one by one requires an accurate answer.
Then, Kirana pretended not to understand the direction of Fahri's conversation. He was just trying to keep his promise to Shinta.
"What do you mean, sir? If I teach street children on weekends," Kirana answered confidently so that there would be no suspicion in Fahri's mind.
'How come Kirana doesn't understand the direction of my conversation, huh... could it be that Shinta has forbidden her to talk?' Fahri thought with suspicion.
After his meeting with Shinta at the Dandelion Cafe this afternoon, Fahri was a bit worried about Shinta's suspicious movements. Moreover, with a line that is not as confident as usual.
"I met Shinta at the Dandelion Cafe this afternoon, the woman you were looking for," said Fahri, who still hoped that it was Kirana who had come to see Shinta.
"Huh? Really, sir?" said Kirana, who was pretending again to convince Fahri more.
And in fact, Kirana's tone of surprise made Fahri even more confused. Then, he could only scratch his head which did not itch.
Just about to answer the question, suddenly their phone line was cut off. Fahri immediately sent a message to Kirana, hoping that there was only a slight disturbance earlier. So, he could call Kirana again.
Oh, it didn't! The message only shows one tick in the corner. And that means, Kirana's cell phone is dead first.
"Maybe he forgot to charge his cellphone," Fahri muttered while rubbing his favorite cellphone screen.
***
"Why are you on another call all the time!" Shinta complained while constantly pressing the phone icon at the top of the chat forum.
It was an unlucky day for Shinta. She foolishly didn't foresee the events that would make his plan fail in the first place. As a result, until 20:45 there was no answer to the call from her sister—Kirana—.
Of course it made Shinta even more dizzy. She was also afraid that at that time his brother was making a phone call with Fahri, the man she idolized.
Ting!
"Sister Kirana!" Shinta exclaimed before seeing the incoming message notification.
She was so confident, thinking that the incoming message was a message from his brother apologizing for not receiving a phone call from Shinta a few minutes ago.
"Ah, it turns out that Mrs. Meira," muttered Shinta with a disappointed face.
At such a critical moment, Shinta's mind is indeed very difficult to control. Only Kirana's name was ringing in his head. In fact, she should be happy because he got a message from his ideal in-laws.
[Tomorrow dinner at Aunt's house, yes.]
The short message should be good news for Shinta. However, for that time Shinta really wanted to avoid first until the business with her sister was completely finished.
However, on the other hand... Shinta certainly couldn't refuse the special invitation. When else will she be able to eat at the same table with his new family?
Shinta is already considered part of the Fahri family. The closeness to Mrs. Meira is also quite special. Because, so far, no employee has ever been treated as special as Shinta. In fact, some senior employees are jealous of Shinta's special position.
Shinta took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. His fingers began to move across the alphabet board. Touching one by one letter to form a sentence which if read would make Mrs. Meira smile happily.
[Wow... it's an honor to always be invited to dinner by the family, Aunt Meira.]
One reply was successfully sent by Shinta. However, in his heart he cursed with satisfaction for all the stupidity that was done by himself.
"You're trapped alone, Shinta!" Shinta exclaimed as she threw her cell phone on the bed.
