Chapter 94: Hoang Lan's story (2)

Tí sighed, took a few steps, and sat on the doorstep, lighting a cigarette again.
Why didn't he realize that it was his decision that made things difficult at home?
"Let's raise them for a while. If they really don't show any effect, I'll sell them at a low price. Even if it's a loss, we might recover some."
"Wanna raise them for a while?"
His aunt heard this.
She wished she could slap Tí directly in the face to see if it could wake him up.
"With what will you feed them?"
"Listen to me, tomorrow wash them clean, then take them to the city together. Follow the shortcut we took last time, let's try that again."
"If it really doesn't work, you bring them back, and we'll slaughter them for meat!"
Tí was stunned.
He didn't know whether his wife was just angry at him or telling the truth.
Thinking about selling them as pork...
At this point, Tí couldn't understand why he felt a bit chilly.
Although he had kidnapped and trafficked children, he wouldn't be so ruthless as to harm those little girls.
"Wife, let's... not joke about this anymore."
"Tomorrow, I have work at the coal mine. Wait until the day after tomorrow, when the weather is good, I'll take them out. Okay?"
"Let's take it slow; we'll get money soon."
Hearing Tí's words.
The woman couldn't take it anymore...
She directly grabbed the large stainless steel ladle in her hand and swung it at Tí's head. The sudden motion caught Tí off guard.
With a loud bang, a small hole was drilled at the back of his head!
"Ah!"
Tí held his head and screamed.
But the woman didn't see Tí's wound; she just stood there, scolding Tí like a dog.
"You fool!"
"All my life dealing with you, it's really unlucky for eight lifetimes!"
"I'll tell you, solve this problem like this. If you can't get money, let me handle it!"
A crazed woman pushed the money into a dead-end alley, frighteningly scary.
Her eyes widened.
She slammed the stainless steel ladle in her hand down, turned back to the room...
Tí didn't resist.
Perhaps he was already used to this woman's curses.
He just told his wife unbelievably: "If you kill someone, you'll go to jail. We really can't do this!"
"Wife, let's not joke anymore."
"Ha ha..."
"And to think that you brought back children for sale. Why not go to jail?"
The woman laughed cynically.
Whatever Tí said, her back disappeared after the turn...
"You're crazy!"
Tí shouted.
It's just that the silence without an answer.
It showed that her rejection didn't affect her emotions...
...
"It was a strange day."
"My aunt, who always ignored us, put us in beautiful new clothes along with my uncle that day."
"He rarely boiled hot water so that we could take a bath."
"I thought the wound on my back should wait a bit to heal."
"He was willing to bring back medicine quickly to apply to the wound..."
"Although it was very painful."
"But I knew that if I applied the medicine, it would heal faster."
"We went to a big city."
"There were many cars, tall buildings that I had never seen before, and a lot... of beautiful things that looked like treasures from heaven, smooth and decorated with colorful fruits."
"My elder sister had been here before and explained to me. That thing is called a birthday cake, and the fruits on it are called strawberries, very delicious, sweet and sour."
"Children in the city will remember the day they were born, and then they will eat that cake every year on that day."
"I heard my elder sister say that it seems you can make wishes on your birthday."
"I really want to eat a birthday cake."
"I want to make wishes on my birthday."
"I hope that in the future, every time we celebrate a birthday, we can eat a birthday cake!"
"But..."
"But both my uncle and aunt didn't tell me when my birthday is..."
"I don't know if there will be a chance like that in the future."
...
Back and forth.
Tí finally led the group of little girls behind him, skillfully entering a small alley in the city.
The small alley looked very desolate.
It was like a place people passed by without ever walking inside.
The stench of the sewer permeated the air.
Along with the uncleaned trash bins at the alley entrance were piles of garbage emitting a strong foul odor.
Making the smell here almost unbearable...
If someone passed by here.
Certainly, they would inevitably cover their noses, then curse a few words to ease the discomfort of the stench.
But the little girls following Tí didn't care much.
These smells seemed to them.
Not a big problem...
They just curiously turned back, looking at how this place was different from the earthen houses in the mountain village.
"Look, what's that?"
A girl pointed at a water tap in front of someone's house and asked the little friend next to her with a puzzled expression.
"Don't know, I've never seen this before. It looks really strange at first glance!"
Another girl replied.
Hoàng Ly listened to them, simultaneously turning her head to look at that peculiar metallic object.
Because when they used water.
They always carried a large basin outside to collect rainwater for use on rainy days, or walked a few miles with a bucket to fetch water from the well on the other side of the village.
So, she had never seen something rare like this...
Tí ignored the curious remarks of the children.
He just silently led them through one alley to another.
Finally, he arrived at the door of a house.
He reached out to knock on the door.
"Who is it?"
"It's me, Tí."
After his hoarse voice spoke, there was a creaking sound from behind the door, and after a while, a young man in shabby clothes opened the door.
"What's up?" He impatiently asked Tí.
It seemed like Tí had ruined his moment of ecstasy.
So, the man's face wasn't too friendly...
"Nothing, today, I just brought some people to you. If you can help me find out if anyone nearby wants to buy a kid, I'll give them to you, and you can take two shares of the money."
Tí caressed his hands.
He spoke cautiously in front of the young man with a downturned curve, adopting a flattering tone.
"No, no, come back in two days!"
As soon as he heard about business.
The young man impatiently waved his hand, signaling Tí to leave.
"Sigh, even though they're all girls, please take a look for me. They're all beautiful, well-dressed, and don't look bad!"
Tí leaned against the door as if he were about to cry.
But what he didn't know was.
Because the young man had only opened half of the door just now, he didn't notice the group of children following him.
But at this moment, upon hearing that Tí mentioned they were girls.
Suddenly, the young man's eyes brightened.
He seemed interested.
"Girls? Bring them in, let me see!"
