Tamed By Her Love Episode 79

Now, Carmine joined Stanley on the couch, and cheered him up, “Did you sleep at all?”
“Yes, I did. After I concluded my project.”
“I see. Congratulations. You are already a graduate.”
“Thank you. I can't wait to see you graduate, too.”
“Yeah. It won't be long,” she proclaimed with confidence.
Meanwhile, the janitors were gone, and Ruby and Johnny were still standing. She tried to avoid anything that would lead to bickering, just as they resolved in the morning. Then, she decided to pull a stunt and waited for his reaction.
"Kindly sit down,” she said and fixed her gaze on his expressionless face.
Without reacting to her offer, he asked, “Do you still have anything to do here?”
“Not at all.”
“Then, can we leave?”
“Certainly,” she accepted and picked up the stuff she brought from the hostel, and looked at him.
Nevertheless, he looked at Stanley and Carmine, who were engrossed in their discussions, and informed, “Can we leave, Stan?”
“Oh!” Stanley looked up and exclaimed.
He helped Carmine to get up, and she picked up her stuff too. Meanwhile, there was a bunch of keys on the center table.
Johnny picked it up and inquired, “I guess this is the house key?”
“Yep,” Ruby admitted, and stretched her hand to collect it from him, but he withheld it.
“Never mind,” he said and waited for her to walk out of the house. He turned off the lights and walked out of the house as well. Afterward, he locked the door and pocketed the key.
To Ruby, whatever he did was accepted, provided he was happy. He met them in the car and opened the back door for her. She got in, and he joined her. Nevertheless, Stanley and Carmine were already seated in the front, and he turned on his ignition.
“Are we set?” Stanley asked and looked at Carmine, who was fastening her seat belt.
“Yes. We can leave,” she assured him, and he drove off.
“You must be famished,” Ruby looked at Johnny and pointed out.
“You are right. What about you, you must be famished too?”
“Yes.”
“In that case, can we go to the eatery at once?”
Before Ruby could respond, Carmine, who was interested in their discussions, objected, “No, Johnny. Public food is not the best for her. There is enough foodstuff in the house.”
Stanley smiled inwardly at the responsibility of a grandmother, which she had taken up. Meanwhile, Johnny's headstrongness could not override Carmine's point.
He simply accepted, “If you say,” he said.
He pulled Ruby closer and stroked her back.
“I love you, my Johnny,” she whispered.
He kissed her temple, and assured her, “I love you, too.”
Meanwhile, they met the janitors walking leisurely to the gate.
“Kindly stop, Stanley, and give them tips for their assistance,” Johnny requested, and Stanley consented.
“Hello, my friends,” he called out.
They walked happily to him, and he appreciated them, “Thank you for your assistance at the house. Take this for your trouble.”
“Wow! We are grateful,” they appreciated him happily.
Meanwhile, apart from the gift of the set of beds, they had indirectly hired them as their watchdogs over Ruby and Carmine.
“Thank you, for this, Johnny,” Ruby thanked him.
“You are welcome, my dear.”
Soon, they were at home and carefully avoided talking about the new house. They prepared the meal together and ate to their satisfaction before they retired for the day.
The Next Day—The Submission of the Project.
After Johnny and Stanley ensured that Ruby and Carmine had settled down in their lecture hall, they drove to the Administrative Block.
Thereafter, Stanley walked to his Project Supervisor's office, and greeted him, “Good morning, Mr. Baron.”
He looked up and was surprised to see Stanley very early in his office.
“Good morning, Stanley. Good to see you,” he responded with a smile.
“Good to see you too, Mr. Baron. I have come to submit my project,” he said and handed out the hard copies of his bound project.
“Wow! I'm delighted to hear that,” the lecturer stated and collected the bound project.
Then, he flipped through some pages, and complimented him, “This is commendable. You will hear from the Project Defense Committee.”
“I got it, Mr. Baron. I beg to take my leave,” Stanley said and took a step.
“It is okay,” he accepted, and Stanley walked out.
Nevertheless, Johnny got to his Project Supervisor's Office and was distraught to see many students waiting for him because he did not want to stay longer than necessary.
“Good morning, Mr. Fredrickson,” he grunted and walked to the visitor's seat, and sat down like others. Unfortunately, to the lecturer, his voice was synonymous with nightmare. Meanwhile, Mr. Fredrickson was attending to a student, who was seated in his front. He looked up at once and stared at Johnny until he took his seat.
Johnny ignored his look, and greeted his fellow students, “Hi, guys.”
They smiled, and called out in a low voice, “The Young CEO.”
He kept a straight face, but they would not allow him.
Then, another student teased, “The Young C.”
At that point, he could not resist the urge to laugh, and he burst into raucous laughter. Likewise, the other students heard the whisper, and could not repress their laughter, laughed as well.
Nevertheless, Mr. Fredrickson felt that the laughter was about his ugly past, and was intimidated.
“Kindly, excuse me,” he informed the student in front of him. The student got up immediately and stood aside. Meanwhile, the next student, in the order of arrival, got up to walk to him, but he stopped him.
“Kindly sit down. I will attend to you shortly,” he pleaded with the student, and he sat down at once.
Then, Mr. Fredrickson looked at Johnny, who had his attention on him. Just like others, he wondered why he stopped the student.
Then, he requested, “Mr. Stewart, can I have your project?”
At that point, there was a stony silence in the office, and Johnny could not tell whether he heard him right.
Subsequently, Mr. Fredrickson repeated, “Can I have your project, Young Master Stewart?”
Nonetheless, Johnny got up at once, and his colleagues fixed their eyes on him. Then, he walked towards the lecturer and stood in front of him. Likewise, he waited for his next order.
“Kindly sit,” he signaled him to the guests' chairs.
“Thank you, Sir,” he appreciated and took his seat.
Then, he stretched out his hand, and Johnny handed the bound project to him. To create a good impression of himself before the other students, he flipped through the project, and thereafter, he declared, “You have an excellent job. You can leave.”
Johnny could not believe his fluke. He was the last to come and would be the first to leave.
Then, he appreciated him, “Thank you, Mr. Fredrickson,” and subsequently took his leave.
Nevertheless, Princeville, who got the gist, bent his head and laughed silently.
“So, he still fears Johnny?” He mumbled after he left.
Then, Mr. Fredrickson looked at the student who he displaced and urged him to sit down. The boy took his seat and gave him a dirty look. He pretended not to notice the look and picked up the boy's project, which he kept aside, and attended to him politely.
