The Reunion

At the Stand Point Hotel
Max and Steve were glad to execute the task. Since the disappearance of their boss, they felt unwanted and incompetent. Although, Mr. Donald was not aware that Alfred was missing. He thought that they found him after the day Max came to look for him in his office. All the same, they must see him.
“You can get off, Ma'am,” Steve said when they got to the hotel.
“Thank you for the ride, Sir," she said before she got out of the car.
She admired the famous seven-star hotel and was pleased with the development.
'At least I am sure of a meal a day,' she thought.
Soon, they were in Mr. Donald's office, and she was employed at once. Afterward, Max and Steve returned to the complex, and the manager handed her over to a female Supervisor of about her age, who looked rich like the Manager, and the other workers.
“Jennifer, she was sent by the Chairman to join us," the manager informed her.
“That's good, Boss,” she responded with a smile and looked at Irene.
“It is my pleasure to have you," she greeted her with a smile.
“Thank you, Ma'am.”
“You can put her through with her role,” the manager instructed further.
“I got it, Mr. Donald.”
She took Irene to her office, and introduced herself, “I'm Jennifer Abram. You can call me Jenny. May I meet you?”
“Thank you, Jenny. I'm Alisa Williams,” she lied.
“Congratulations, Alisa, for the new job.”
“Thank you for the compliment, Ma'am.”
 “Are you married?”
“No, Ma'am,” she lied again.
“That is good. You are welcome to the Stand Point Bar and Resort.”
“Thank you, Ma'am. I'm glad to be here.”
Eventually, she handed two pairs of uniforms to her, and she collected them. Likewise, she imagined how a Princess like her had degenerated to that point. Presently, she noticed that a large teardrop ran down her cheek, and wiped it at once.
“Thank you for the uniforms,” she appreciated her with an emotional tone and Jenny was disturbed.
“It's like you are not happy with the job? You are free to leave,” she remarked with a stern voice.
Irene was scared and feared that she might miss the only opportunity to have food and shelter.
Then, she refuted immediately, “It is not what you think, Ma'am. I just got out of the hospital.”
“Oh, my God! I'm sorry to hear that."
"Thank you, Jenny."
"It is all right. I will take you to your hostel. You would rest for today, and begin your work tomorrow.”
“I am delighted to hear that, Jenny.”
If only she was aware that the trouble she gave to herself was not worth it. She was not aware that King Churchill VII had forgiven her, and that nothing stopped her from enjoying her freedom in her country.
At Ridge Wood
The euphoric Sir Walter left for Ridge Wood with his father for Carson's last event of the year. From the look of things, he may make Ridge Wood his second home.
“If this is the only time to see Alfred, I think it is worth the trouble,” he told his father on their way.
“You are right. Seeing him doing well, and leading a responsible life, had made my day.”
After the marathon episodes of the movie – TAMED BY HER LOVE, Sir Walter and his father returned to their hotel very excited. The announcement that Carson's next event would take place in Nassau marveled at them. Although they were not aware whether Alfred and his wife would be at the event, they would be pleased if he would be with Carson.
“Jackson, let us find out from Sir Gilmore if Alfred would come with Carson to Nassau,” Old Pa Walter suggested.
“That would be nice. If he would come with them, then this year's festival would be the best,” Sir Walter pointed out.
As usual, Sir Gilmore and Allen, arrived at the hotel that afternoon to take them to the airport.
Then, the excited Old Pa Walter greeted him, “Sir, good to see you.”
“Good to see you, too,” Sir Gilmore responded with glee, and announced, “We can leave if you are ready.”
“We are ready, Sir Gilmore,” Jackson responded.
“I think we still have some time, Sir Gilmore. I must commend your role in uniting us with our son. My family and me, owe you a lot,” Old Pa Walter complimented him.
Sir Gilmore took his seat, and responded, “You have said this for the umpteenth time. Children belong to the society. It is our responsibility to ensure that they are safe at all times. All the same, it is my pleasure.”
“If I may ask, do you think he would come over to Nassau with your son during the event?” Jackson inquired.
Sir Gilmore furrowed his brow while Pa Walter waited anxiously for his opinion. After a while, he elucidated, “I want to believe that it was Alfred's idea that the event should be organized at Nassau.”
The two men looked at him open-mouthed. It had never occurred to them that it could be Alfred's idea.
All the same, Sir Gilmore continued, “I believe that Alfred must have sold the idea to him because my son had never visited the Bahamas all his life.”
“Could it be that Alfred is homesick?” Sir Walter asked with excitement.
In the same vein, Pa Walter added, “Or could it be that he has forgiven us?”
“Or his wife wished that he should reconcile with his parents,” Sir Gilmore added.
“Whatever may be the reason, keep us updated, Sir Gilmore,” Pa Walter requested.
Then, Sir Walter declared, “I will deal mercilessly with all those who had caused him pain in the past. Beginning from that third Princess of the Martin's family. She will tell me how she beat his security and got access to my son.”
“You have my support, Jackson. I think there was a foul play somewhere,” Pa Walter added.
“Thank you, My Father. I am now in a better frame of mind to look into the matter.”
Sir Gilmore's heart was touched. He could imagine the level of pain that Alfred's absence must have caused them.
Then, he spoke with concern, “I can understand how you felt when he disappeared, and I will make an effort to convince him if he is not willing to come with my son.”
“That would be nice, Sir Gilmore.”
“Okay. If I may ask, what about your wife? I mean Alfred's mother?”
At that point, Pa Walter could imagine Jackson's state of mind, and responded, “That is part of the problem. They had planned to kill him right from the womb.”
“What!” Sir Gilmore exclaimed, and asked again, “Who would wish to kill such a rare creature?”
Already, Sir Walter was emotionally burdened, and his father could perceive it from his expression and tried to save the situation.
We will talk about that later, Sir Gilmore," he said and looked at his son.
Sir Gilmore noticed that too, and changed the subject at once, “I would like to have a taste of your favorite delicacy when I visit your country.”
Just like a magic wand, Sir Walter cheered up, and asked, “Will you come along with him?”
“Certainly. That would be an opportunity to return your visits.”
“That would be remarkable. We can't wait to have you.”
“Be prepared to have a taste of the Bahamian cuisine," Old Pa Walter added.
“Wow! My wife and I can't wait. Let's go, or we will miss our flight.”
They got up at once and picked up their luggage and left for the Airport.
