When Haru woke up, she slowly looked at the person next to her on the bed, and there she saw that Nicole was still asleep. She carefully left the room, and when she came out of the kitchen, she saw Jasper cooking their breakfast.
"Where's Arche?" She asked and sat down in the chair.
"Still asleep," Jasper answered, while his attention was on what he was cooking.
Haru felt vomiting, so she immediately ran to the sink and vomited, but no matter how hard she vomited, nothing came out of her mouth. Jasper immediately approached Haru with a worried look on his face. Nicole came out of the room, newly awake, and she heard Haru vomiting, so she immediately ran to where Jasper and Haru were. 
"What happened?"
"I don't know, she vomited all of a sudden."
"Haru, are you okay?" She nodded slowly and held Nicole's hand tightly because she seemed to feel the pain in her stomach.
"Nicole, you and Haru, go back to the room lest Arche suddenly comes out, be quickly!" Jasper was nervous while he said this, so Nicole immediately helped Haru to get inside her room, and she also locked the door.
"Haru? Are you really okay?"
"G-get the pain killer N-Nicole."
"Huh? W-where?"
"I-in the drawer argghhh... Nicole."  Nicole took the medicine from the drawer, but she didn't know which medicine was there because she saw a lot of medicine, so she took it everything.
"Does your doctor know this?" Nicole asked and then handed Haru the medicine, which Haru immediately took from her. Haru immediately drink it.
For a few more moments, Haru's head leaned on Nicole's chest and Nicole hugged it as if she didn't want to let go because she was afraid that it might disappear.
"Nicole... Is Haru awake yet?" Nicole looked at the door when they heard Arche knocking and asked from outside. She was distracted by Haru, who was pulling on her dress. She saw Haru shaking her head repeatedly as if to say, don't tell the truth, which Nicole immediately understood.
"A-Arche, I woke up that Haru was not beside me," Nicole said loudly as she slowly help Haru onto the bed. She made sure that Arche was gone in front of the door, then she carefully left the room.
"Haru doesn't leave without saying goodbye."
"Maybe she needed to go somewhere or she went to the hospice early."
When Nicole came to the kitchen, she had heard Jasper and Arche talking about Haru. She took a deep breath and relaxed herself, then entered the kitchen with a smile on her face.
"Yeah, Arche, maybe Haru went somewhere."
"Maybe, I'll go ahead. Let's just meet at the hospice and if Haru comes home, text me." Arche said then hurried out of Nicole's house. As the two of them looked at each other, they simultaneously took a deep breath. While Haru peeked out the window and watched Arche walking.
‘Arche I'm sorry if I have to hide this pain of mine from you. Forgive me for what I am doing.'
she said to herself and burst her tears.
"Where's Haru?" Jasper asked while eating.
"Resting. Hurry up, we'll go in hospice." Nicole said and stood up.
A few hours passed, Nicole and Jasper were ready to go to the hospice.
"Are you sure Haru? Is it okay for you to leave you alone here?" Nicole asked to Haru.
"I won't go into Hospice. I'll go with you." Nicole added
"I'm fine Nicole. After I go to Doctor Ramirez, I'll go straight to the hospice. Don't worry about me, I'm fine. Go ahead and leave." Haru's insistence on Nicole.
"All right, if you need something, call us right away or when something happens to you." Haru nodded here, and when Jasper and Nicole left the house, she sat down on the sofa and wiped her tears. She did not know what to do because her illness was getting worse.
Haru stayed at Nicole's house for five hours before she thought of getting out of here and going to the hospital. When she arrived at the hospital, she immediately went to the office of doctor Ramirez.
"Haru, we will do another test, but the hospital can't handle it because of a lack of equipment. So I will recommend you to the big hospital."
"Doc, why do you have to do that? If all the hospitals that I went are the same as what you say, I can't live long doc! Do you think I'll get better?"
"Haru, you still have hope to overcome and fight your disease. Because there are a few people who have survived cancer. Just keep doing your chemotherapy."
"I would have survived if I had known earlier that I had cancer! But not doc. My cancer is getting worse, so how can I fight it? How can I survive? How?!" 
There was a moment of silence in the office of Doctor Ramirez until Haru broke it.
"I will stay in hospice." Doctor Ramirez was shocked by what Haru said.
"Haru, It would be better for you if you stayed in a big hospital. They will definitely help you there."
"I'm sorry doc, but my decision is final. I'll go ahead." Haru said then she came out of the office. She was walking out of the hospital when she kicked something, so she looked at what it was and saw a book made by Carmen that she was the real author. She picked it and looked at an old woman who was digging on the floor. She approached it and was very surprised when she recognized who the owner of the book was. She took the old woman's hands and placed the book she had picked up in the old man's palm.
"Thank you!" The old woman said, Haru help it by sitting on a waiting chair.
"What's your name? I've been looking for it before and am grateful that you found it." The old woman said while not looking at Haru. 
"Grandma Amelia, this is Haru." The old woman was so shocked by the name that she heard, she immediately looked at it and tried to figure out if Haru was really the one in front of her.
"H-Haru" There was a sad voice when she pronounced Haru's name.
"Grandma Amelia I just want to know, why you're here? And if my guess is true-" Haru couldn't continue what she was going to say when the old woman spoke.
"You're right young woman, I'm here to have a check-up, and here I found out that little by little I will lose my sight. I will be blind soon. So I hope you don't tell this to others especially to my grandson, Jasper, and Arche."
"We're the same, granny." Amelia was surprised, she looked at Haru, but Haru smiled at the old woman and took something from her pocket, and handed it to her. 
"I know you're sad, Granny. When I was a child, someone gave me chocolate so I wouldn't cry anymore. When I found out that my mother was sick and wouldn't live long, I cried until someone saw me. The lady handed me chocolates, and she even told me that if I didn't eat that chocolate, she give them to someone. Because I was hungry that day and my favorite was chocolate I took it and ate it, and then I stopped crying. Every time I go to the hospice, she sometimes takes care of me and she likes to cook for the patients there."
Amelia immediately looked at Haru, who couldn't believe what she had heard.
"You're the little girl I gave the chocolate?" Haru nodded and then hugged the old woman tightly.
"I'm happy because you still can't forget the little girl you helped. Don't worry, grandma, I'll help you."
Haru said while she couldn't stop crying.
