*Claire’s Point of View* --- My right cheek still stings from her slap. Damn, being a cheerleader really helped her to be so strong. And thank goodness that she is not a volleyball player. As I was about to put on my helmet, I heard someone scream for help. And there's no doubt that it's Sammy's voice. Well, I just loved to call her that. Then I hurried to where the voice came from, and it was near a tree at the club's parking space where a blue old pick-up truck was parked. What is she doing out here? I just knew that it's her voice, and I can also hear some men talking to her. I went near them, and when I saw them, my heart started beating fast. There are three bastards with her. Two of them are holding both her arms, and the other one is holding a knife. Damn it! "Please, just let me go," She begged them, but they just laughed at her. And I can see that she's about to cry. I formed my hands in a ball, and I can't take it anymore. "Hahaha,... how about we enjoy you first before we let you go? Sounds nice, right?" The one that is holding a knife said. I guess these a**holes are as high as f*ck. "No, please! I'll give you money. You can have my phone and my... my watch... Please, just let me go." She offered them while begging. F*ck, these idiots are so dead to me. "We don't need money. We need your sexy body. Hahahaha... that rhymes, Dudes..." The one that's holding her right arm jeered. I hurriedly went to them, and when I am five meters away, I took off my backpack that contained my computer, headphones, and some cords. Then I gripped its strap tightly and was ready to slam this to someone's head. "Let her go," I commanded while wearing a very angry aura. "Oh, another chick. The more, the merrier." One of them let out, and they’re not making my mood any lighter. "Red, what are you doing?" She asked me stupidly. Yes, this girl is stupid sometimes. What does she think about the situation she's in? "Well, obviously, rescuing you, Miss Damsel in distress," I replied, and the a**holes were grinning from ear to ear. Geez, I really want to break their noses and all the bones in their body. "Edgar, get her." The knife-guy ordered the man that's holding Sammy's left arm. Good choice, since the girl is left-handed. The guy is approaching me slowly like he wants to catch a cat. Well, sorry, Dude, you'll be the first one to taste my madness. "I'm warnin' you, People. Leave us alone, and you'll go home without broken ribs and noses, plus loose teeth." I said calmly and smiled. Now, I'm still calm because I'm controlling my anger. "Red," she mumbled worriedly. Don't worry. I'll get you. "Hahaha... What are we? Street children? Get him, Edgar, and tie them up." Geez, they're making my temper overflow. "Your choice, your bad," I mumbled, and when he was about to grab my arm, I kicked his private part. Then the knife-guy aimed for me, and I slammed my backpack straight to his hard head. Damn, sorry, my gadgets. They both fell to the ground, and I saw Sammy kneed the balls of the one that holds her right arm, and she punched him in the face using her left fist. That serves you right, a**hole. "Red! Are you okay?" She asked me worriedly and went behind me. "I should be the one asking you that," I answered, and I can see that they're recovering from the impact. They started to form a semi-circle at us while our backs are near the old pick-up truck. "What should we do?" She asked, and I know that she's frightened. "Here's the plan, if two of them are knocked down, you run and ask help from the guards at the club entrance," I whispered to her, and she's panting. "And how are we gonna knock them down?" She asked me in a whisper. "You, B*tches! You're gonna regret this." Said the man with the knife and attacked us. I can see that the other two are about to come close too. And I can read the knife guy's movements, and he's not holding the knife properly. I attacked him using my hands and my body as my weapon. He tried to stab me, but I dodged it. Then I gripped his arm with the knife and bent his wrist till the knife fell from his hold. And I stepped on it to keep anybody from getting the thing. Finally, I elbowed his face, and I heard a crack. I guess it's his nose. Told you so. He's about to punch me, but I ducked, and I collected my strength to my right fist and aimed for his jaw. And... bull's eye. Knockdown. One down, and one to go? I saw that Edgar is lying on the cold hard ground too and clutching his stomach. I guess he received one blazing kick from the head cheerleader. I looked at Sammy, and she's very hot. Geez, it's no time for complimenting. The only man standing is clearly terrified to see his companions already lying on the cold hard ground. "Go, call for help, Sammy. I can handle this already." I told her, and she winked at me. Then she ran to where the guards were posted. I looked at the man, and he's not surrendering, eh? "You'll pay for this, B*tch!" He yelled and ran in my direction. "I don't remember having any debt on you, People. Remember that I've warned, you, three?" I let out while dodging his every punch. What is he? A three-year-old? He can't even hit me. Well, maybe it's the effects of being high. And now, it's my turn to attack him. I punched him straight to the face, and he cupped the part he was hit, and blood started to ooze from his nose. It's totally not my fault. While he's crying in pain, I took the opportunity to kick him hard on the stomach. Damn, I should've worn my combat boots. He fell to the ground like the other one. Where's the knife-guy? And the knife's gone. "Red, they're here," Sammy yelled while catching her breath. Then two guards of the club, who are both as big as John Cena, came into view. They had guns with them, and then they held the junkies and handcuffed the two bastards. Where's the other one? "Put down your weapons! Or else I'll cut her throat." The knife-guy yelled, and now, he's holding Sammy's hair. I gritted my teeth, and I want to kill that man already. I should've killed him earlier. "Sammy!" I screamed, and I can see that she's struggling to break free from the man's grip. "Red," she whimpered. "I swear, I'm gonna cut your head off if anything bad happens to her," I yelled at him, and he just tightened his grip on her hair. I'm really gonna kill you. The knife is really near Sammy's neck. Damn it! Think of an idea to get her, Brain. "Stay back, B*tch! Nobody makes a move. And hey, you, the one with the mustache, kick your gun away from you." He stated and instructed Henry. I gave him a look, and thankfully, he understood it. He kicked it near me. The man noticed it And "Kick it to me, Kid. If you don't want your girlfriend's neck, meet my knife's sharp poi--." He was not able to finish his talking sh*ts when I kicked the gun flying to his private part. What's the purpose of playing soccer at my previous school? I'm one hella scorer. He cried in pain, and Sammy stomped his feet. I instantly pulled her to me, and I straddled the man to the ground to beat the hell out of him. I'm punching him so hard and giving him what he deserves. All I want is to kill him with my bare hands and make him pay for threatening my girl-- no, not yet. And I think the man was not moving anymore when Sammy pulled me away from him. I'm breathing heavily while still gritting my teeth. Nobody dares to make a mess with me, or they will get what they deserve. "Hey, Red! It's okay now. It's okay." I can hear her say it, and it makes me calm. I closed my eyes and breathed in deeply. Then I felt something warm embraced me, and I could smell her addictive scent. I smiled and hugged her back. "Are you okay?" I asked her, more of like a whisper. "I should be the one asking you that," she said while throwing my words back at me. I just chuckled and broke off from the hug. Oh, I want to hug her more. "I'm fine. But they're not. And they should be." I stated and spat at the man that was lying unconscious on the ground with a face covered with his blood. One of the guards held him up and handcuffed him. They said that they're bringing them to the police. And we thanked them for helping us. I looked at Sammy, and I could see her clearly since the streetlights were bright enough. Then she smiled at me and kissed me on my right cheek unexpectedly. It stings earlier, but it vanished and was replaced with something delightful. I think I just blushed, and I'm thankful that the streetlights are slightly orange, so she can't notice my face. "Thank you, Red. I don't know if I'm still alive if you didn't come to rescue me," she said sincerely and held my hands. She looked at it and gently touched my bloody knuckles, which I just noticed that it's throbbing. I remembered that I still needed to ask her how she ended up out here. "Why the hell did you leave the club? Don't you know that it's very dangerous in this kind of place? You're out of your mind if you think that there will be anybody to help you if I didn't decide to go home already. Your friends are inside, why don't you join them? You should've told me that you..." I wasn't able to finish my rant when she placed her index finger on my lips. "I'm sorry, okay? I know I'm stupid for walking out of the club. I'm supposed to go home because I'm not feeling well. But, I'm thankful that you came on time before they drag me with them. You're my hero, Red. Thank you so much." She said and smiled at me. And my madness disappeared. "Fine, no problem. But next time... please inform anybody or be with one of your friends and don't be staying alone in such places as this. Please." I told her, and she nodded while smiling sheepishly. That was just so dangerous. "Alright, where's your ride?" I asked her as I roamed my gaze around the parking space. "Um, we just used Becca's car earlier. I… um.. kinda waiting for a cab," she explained. "Why didn't you tell them? And why can't you just join them? There'll be no cabs in here during these hours." I asked her furiously. "I can't kill their enjoyment, and I texted them that I'd go home first because I'm not feeling well." She answered, and I just scratched my not-itchy head. This girl is sure a... I don't know. "Fine, fine, fine. Come here." I gave up and dragged her with me to Nikki. "Damn it, my bag! Wait for me at Nikki, and I'll get my bag." I told her, and her eyebrows met. "Who's Nikki?" She asked with a tone of voice that I haven't heard from her before. "Uh... My motorbike?" I answered unsurely, and she nodded her head slowly. "Oh. Okay," she stated, changing her tone of voice. Geez, she's moody, isn't she? ---- And we are now arguing about who will wear the freaking helmet. "Wear it or wear it," I told her, but she keeps on declining. "You're the one who's going to drive, so you should be the one wearing it." She countered, and I just took a deep breath. Ugh, this girl will be my death. She's so stubborn. "Please, Sammy, wear it. It's dangerous on the roads." I begged her. "Dangerous? Then why are you driving a freaking motorbike?" She spat at me while crossing her arms on her chest. I just sighed and said, "Wear it, Red." she added. I think we've been arguing for about two minutes now. "Nope, you wear it, Sammy." I held my ground. I don't easily back down. Not to this blue-eyed cheerleader. "Then I'll not ride with you!" She asserted, and with that, my eyes went wide. Ugh, this stubborn blonde! Then she started to walk away from where I parked Nikki. "Alright, then enjoy being harassed by another batch of drug-addicted a**holes right there," I let out, and she slowly walked back at me. Good girl. "Please, Sammy. I won't risk your safety again. We may not be friends, but I care for your safety. I almost lost you earlier because of my recklessness. Please. Damn, I should have just... Uh, made you stay inside." I'm begging her so hard. But she was the one who walked out. No, I shouldn't have kissed her. Mmm, no. Then her face lights up, and she gives me a small smile before snatching the helmet from my hold. "Good girl," I muttered and hopped on Nikki. Then I wore my bag in front of me. I think my things are broken. And thankfully, I wore a sweater earlier, and she agreed to wear my leather jacket since she's just wearing a thin blouse. In which she looks kinda hot. Oh, shush it. I revved my bike, and she hopped on. "Hold on to me if you don't want to be left behind," I instructed her, and she obeyed. Damn, she's hugging my waist from behind. What are these weird feelings? Okay, fine... I think I'm gay. No, I am gay. And I like her. We still need to drive for half an hour to arrive at our places. I'm driving a little bit slower than usual while smiling since Sammy's hugging me from behind. Oh, road, please be longer and don't end.
