Chapter 11 - Drink Choco Drink

*Samantha’s Point of View*
---
I really love her scent. It's so addicting.
I just can't help but smile so wide while hugging Red from behind. It feels just like heaven.
She's driving, and I think she's going a little bit slow because maybe she doesn't want to get home fast so we can spend a lot of time together while I hug her. Or perhaps just my crazy imagination. Yeah, probably the latter.
She even let me wear her leather jacket. I wonder if she's cold since she just got a sweater and she's driving, and it's almost ten-thirty now.
I just can't believe that I let her win in our fight earlier about who will wear this helmet on my head. She's one hella stubborner than I am.
But I am more than grateful that she saved me from those a**holes earlier. I really thought that it's my end already. I just can't imagine dying and not even saying that I love Red so much.
---
After an hour or less drive, I didn't notice that she parked her 'Nikki' in front of my house. I really got jealous when she said the name of her bike, like damn, I am not only competing with her girlfriend, but also with a girl named Nikki. But it turned out that it's her black motorbike. So freaking stupid of me, right?
How did she know that this is my house anyway?
"Um, we're here," she uttered and turned off the engine.
I hopped off, and she followed. Then I took off her helmet, and I feel sad that I'll be missing her scent. Gosh, I'm addicted to her already. Well, ever since.
"Uh, yeah! Thank you so much for taking me home." I replied and handed her her helmet.
Come on, Sam, think of a plan. How do I make her stay a little longer?
"Nah, not a problem. So, I better get going?" She said and smiled. Wow, her smile is so gorgeous. It's just that I'm not used to seeing her smile.
"Well, what about we.. um, go inside my house and you got .. to ah... drink.. yeah, drink with me," I asked her stupidly. Stop stuttering, you mouth.
I looked at her, and she raised an eyebrow with a confused face.
"Hot chocolate. Drink hot chocolate... inside. Yeah, what do you think?" I added, and she smiled again.
I can't help but bite my lower lip as I'm watching her face. I can even still taste her on my lips. It's just a stupid move that I slapped her back at the ladies’ room, but she ended up helping me and saving my life.
I don't care if she has a girlfriend right now. Sooner or later, Red will be mine. Mine and mine alone. Evil, right? Well, just a little.
"Umm, sure," she answered and cut me off from my train of thoughts. Did she just agree to my offer?
"Really? Alright, let's go inside and get warmed up." I let out excitedly like a child going to an amusement park for the first time.
I held her hands carefully not to touch her knuckles because I'm sure that it hurts. Sh*t, it's still covered with the blood of that bastard who made me a hostage. I don't know how she learned to fight like that, but she was so cool earlier.
I dragged her along with me inside my house and to the kitchen. I told her to sit while I cleaned up her hands from blood carefully.
After that blood is removed, I noticed that her knuckles are a bit red, and she's flinching whenever I touch them. I looked at her right cheek, and I can still see red marks on it. Now, I feel so guilty for slapping her. I'm so f*cking dumb.
---
When I was finally done cleaning and applying medication to her knuckles, she thanked me, and I stood up to make our hot beverages. I just knew that chocolate is her favorite since we were young. It's the only drink that I saw she drinks until now.
As soon as I finished making it, I handed the mug of hot chocolate to her. And I noticed that she seemed so happy looking at it. Then she looked at me while smiling so wide.
"Wow, thanks," she uttered and blew its surface, then took a small sip. I bit my lip, hoping that she'll like it.
"How was it?" I asked her with a broad smile, and she put it down on the table.
"Hmmm, so far it's...." she started and paused.
My smile vanished when she looked at me intently, and she smiled, showing her perfect white teeth. What's wrong with her? Is she high or something?
"How did you know what I like?" She asked and took another sip of it.
"Oh, um. Of course, I knew. It's uh, .... obvious." I said while stuttering like sh*t. I know because I have spilled so many of those on her hold, which makes me feel so f*cking regretful.
"Mmm-hmmm." She swallowed, and an idea came to me.
"Do you like cookies?" I asked and went to reach for it from the cupboard.
"Yes, please," she replied, and suddenly, someone spoke from the entrance of the kitchen.
"Mi Niña? Is that you?" It's my nanny.
She walked in sleepily into the kitchen.
"Oh, yes! Nana, I’m home." I told her.
She's my favorite of all the people. She is like my mom now because she takes good care of me and treats me like her own daughter. She's been with me since I was born, and I'm grateful that she stayed with me even though I'm already 18 years old. And now, Nana is 58 years old.
"Oh, I see. Who's with you? I thought you got a sleepover at Cassidy's?" She asked, and I noticed that she's staring at Red amusingly.
I just knew that she's intrigued that I brought someone with me, and now, she got the idea that she's the girl I said that I really liked since elementary.
"Oh, that... The sleepover's canceled. Um... Nana, I want you to meet Re... I mean Claire Lawrence. And Red, meet my Nana. She's been my nanny since I was born." I uttered, and Red gave me a bizarre look.
Then she stood up and shook hands with Nana saying that she was glad to meet her.
Gosh, no! I didn't just tell her that I still got a nanny until now. The heck?
I think I just blushed out of embarrassment. Now, she'll think that I'm still a baby. Damn it! But that's the truth.
"It is finally a pleasure to meet you, Claire. I've heard a lot about you from Sam," Nana uttered, and with that, my eyes widened, and I shot her a death glare.
She seemed to understand but she wiggled her eyebrows. Damn this old woman.
"I better go back to sleep before Sam-one sends me out of the house. Have a goodnight, two of you," she stated and sang the last part as she walked back to where she came from.
I just sighed and turned to the grinning Red.
"A nanny, huh? And she heard a lot about me from you. I wonder what are those things you said to her about me?" She let out and wiggled her left eyebrow. What's wrong with the people tonight with their eyebrows?
And I just pretended naively. I can't be telling her that she's my childhood crush and that I love her now. No freaking way. Not now.
"Well. Um... Cookies?" I was not sure what to say and offered her a pack of chocolate chip cookies.
"Okay, thanks," she said but looked at me like she's still looking for an answer from me.
Sh*t, what should I do now? And why am I feeling so hot right now?
I still didn't say a thing to her; instead, I picked one cookie from the pack and shoved it into my mouth full.
Excellent idea, so that I can't talk because I'm munching this life-saving cookie.
I saw her staring at me amusingly while showing off her pearly white teeth. Damn it. She's so cute. I want to kiss her right now.
"Alright, I guess you don't have a plan on saying anything to me. You're just so cute. You should've told me that you won't tell me because it's a secret; instead, you ate a mouthful of cookies, though the cookies are great and your choco drink's the best." She remarked and winked. And with that, I blushed. I think my face is as red as her hair right now.
I forcibly swallowed my not-properly chewed cookie so that I could talk, but it blocked my throat, causing me to choke. Gosh, can this night be more embarrassing?
She noticed it, and she quickly went to get a glass of water, then gave it to me.
I drank it while she rubbed my back, and finally, that cookie that I thought could save me almost killed me went to my stomach. It serves it right. Damn cookie!
"Are you alright now?" She asked, still rubbing my back to soothe my feelings.
She's just so sweet. And by just thinking about it, I'm freaking blushing again. Well, all I could do good is just blush.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for saving my life twice tonight," I stated, and she nodded, then took a seat.
"You know what? You're one hella clumsy cute blonde girl. You should take good care of yourself. For, what if... no one's gonna be there to come to you?" She uttered, and I think I blushed again for the millionth time now.
Did she just call me a cute blonde girl? But she's right, I'm clumsy when she's around, and I just dunno why.
"Umm, yeah. Su.. sure. Thanks for uh... reminding." I stammered while bowing down my head because I didn't want her to see my face.
---
As the night went on, we talked about some things about our family. I just learned that her father has not been with them since she was born, and he's the reason why she colored her hair red because she doesn’t want her mom to see her dad with her blonde hair.
I also learned that she was from a public school, and she played soccer there before she transferred to Pryce Winsley Academy.
I'm just glad that our paths crossed again.
I also shared with her that I'm not living with any of my parents because they got divorced when I was eight, and my dad is always busy with his business.
After we finished drinking our hot beverage, she said that she'll go home now because her mom is waiting for her to arrive.
"So, I'm gonna get going now. Thanks a lot for the treat. I didn't like it, though...." she stated as we were at my front door.
I frowned when I heard that she didn't like it. So much for expecting.
"I loved it, Sammy," she added and laughed.
And I just looked at her while smiling. This girl is so unpredictable.
"Alright, I'll go now," she said as she wore her helmet. And before she can turn to walk away,
"Thank you, Red. Take care and goodnight." I told her.
Then she just saluted using her index and middle finger.
I smiled, and she turned to walk towards Nikki.
I'm sure I'll be having a goodnight now. Wait, did I just see her blow a kiss to me and waved before she drove away? Nope, it's got to be my imagination only.
As I walked inside and hugged the leather jacket... Wait a minute... She left her jacket on me!
Damn, I was so distracted and felt comfortable with it on my body. And I just noticed that she got her phone inside its right pocket.
I wonder what's on her phone. But too much for my curiosity, I respect her privacy. Yes, I love her that much.
I closed the door behind me and went to my room.
Well, I guess I got a reason to see her tomorrow at her house.
Now, I'm so excited. Oh, stop it, Sam, and go get some beauty sleep.
