*Samantha’s Point of View* --- "Becca? What are you doing here?" I asked my best friend in shock as I approached her when I saw her eating at the table near the small stage where Red and Shane are performing. I thought she's at the mall? "Uh... Oh! Hi, Sam! What are you doing here?" She asked the same question that I asked her, and surprise was written on her face also. I have already eaten my lunch on the far side of the restaurant while listening and watching the girls. "I asked you first, so you're going to answer me first. You said you were at the mall?" I asked as I sat in front of her. "Umm... Well, I was at the mall, and I went here to eat lunch. What about you?" She answered and asked like she knew something. "I went here to eat my lunch too," I answered. Like, what should I say to her? "Really???" She asked, and clearly, she's not convinced. And right now, she has an annoying face that she always wears. "Yes. So, just finish up your lunch." I confirmed and stared at Red, who's singing while strumming her red guitar. I guess Red's favorite color is red. Everyone knows, Sam. "Oh, sure. Eat lunch while gazing at your RED." She let out and emphasized Red's name. And I think all my blood rushed to my face. "Alright, I'm just so right." She bragged and went back to eating her dessert. I shushed her off, and I followed her gaze. And I noticed that she's been staring at Shane, who is singing her part of the song. They really have the same characteristics. She has a good voice, but Red's voice is the best. Yep, nothing compares to my girl. Shane looked in our direction, and I saw her winked at Becca. I looked at my best friend, and she's just blushing so effing hard. Mmm, there must be something fishy with them. I turned my head back to examine Becca, and I just saw something on her neck. Now, that's a hickey for sure. Well, I have seen something like those from Morgan and Cassidy. Damn, I told you that something is going on with them. I looked back again at Shane, and she waved at me. Then my gaze traveled to the redhead, and she's just singing so cool. Like, damnit, she's both so cool and so hot. "Thank you all for listening and watching, and also, for your requests. Once again, this is Claire Lawrence." "And this is Shane Knight. Have a good day ahead and enjoy your meals." Red started and was followed by Shane. I guess they are just finished with their shift. They've sung twelve songs in all, seven customers' requests, and five from them. I didn't keep track of the numbers, okay? I just recognized all the songs. They went down from the stage and approached us. "Hey, 'sup, Girls?" Shane greeted us but clearly eyeing out my best friend. Okay, I need to interrogate Becca later. But, hey, Red is just so gorgeous and hot right now, and damn that face. Looking at her lips makes me want to kiss her right now. And... memories of our kiss last night brought back to me and sent the butterflies in my stomach to go crazy. Hold your horses, Sam. It's no time for fantasizing. "Uh... Hi!" Red greeted shortly while placing her hands inside her jeans' pockets. "Hey, that was really great." I complimented, and I could see her face blushing. "Thanks!" She replied, and she's just so cute. While Becca and Shane are talking or more of staring at each other dreamily, Red and I are looking at them suspiciously. I guess she also sensed that there's something with these two. "Umm, Sammy, do you think these two got a thing or something? Like... mmm, I don't know." She asked me, and there she goes with that nickname again. I just found it so damn sweet. "Yeah, I'm supposed to ask you the same thing," I answered without looking at her. I finally looked at her, and she looked at me too. She smiled at me and stated, "Well, if that's it, then I'm so happy for my cousin. She never got in a relationship before because she always stammers when she gets to talk with someone she likes, and the person easily gets turned off." She uttered and laughed lightly. Well, that's true from what I observed yesterday. I laughed with her as well. It's just that I am not used to seeing Red smile or laugh and even talk to me like we're friends. Wait, friends? Nope, a friend is an understatement. I never want to be friends with her, ever. "Hey, love birds! I think you need a lot of time together, so maybe we should get going." Red told them, and both their heads turned to us. "Oh, really. Us? Maybe you both." Shane countered, and Becca is smiling like a crazy idiot while moving her eyebrows up and down. Could you remind me to get rid of her later? "What? No! I mean, you... uh. I guess you got something to talk about, and uh, we don't want to interrupt you. So, we should be going. Yeah." Red explained while stuttering, and I find it so cute. And not to mention, she's blushing like f*ck. And I really want to kill Becca right now because of the way she is giving me a really damn disturbing face. "Ah, right, "WE" should get going, huh?" Shane replied and quoted. Then both of them laughed out loud and high-fived. Okay, I guess Becca finally found her mate. Well, I'm just so happy for them. "Huh? What are you talking about?" Red asked her obliviously. And right now, I'm looking from Shane to Red, and I guess they're usually like this. "You know, the "WE" thing," Shane emphasized and wiggled her eyebrows. Then Red blushed. She's just so cute. I wanna kiss her right now. Not the right time, Sam. "I don't know what you are talking about. I'll just go home now. See you whenever, Shay." Red let out and turned to get her guitar from the stage. Our heads turned to her, and while she's busy packing up her things, these two talked to me. "Alright, Sam, it's your chance. Ask her if she won't ask you. Go, and wait for her outside. Good luck. " Shane told me and pushed me in the door's direction while Becca gave me a thumbs-up and smiled like crazy as usual. Yeah, the plan. --- I am here outside of the restaurant while waiting for Red to come out. And I can see from the glass wall that she's about to leave since she kissed Shane's cheeks. Shane tapped her shoulder really hard. I know it's hard since Red winced. They're so sweet. I just miss my older sister, Samara. And I wonder how they are now since I haven't seen or even heard anything from them for like a decade already. "Hey, are you okay?" Someone asked me, and I looked at the person. It's Red. She got a serious and concerned look on her face. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine. So, umm, do you...? I mean, you're gonna go home now?" I answered and asked her while hoping she would... you know, go nowhere but with me. "Uh, nope. Come here." She replied and held my hand then dragged me with her. Then I felt that familiar spark from her touch and the butterflies in my stomach went wild again. What is it with this gorgeous creature? No words came out of my mouth since I'm just letting her lead the way. Yep, I trust her with my life. "Alright, I want you to meet Alice." She stated, and my ears perked up upon hearing a girl's name. "Huh? Who is Alice?" I asked her, and I saw her smile like she sensed that I was jealous or something. "Alice, my pick-up truck." She replied and pointed to the red with a black outline pick-up truck in front of us. Well, she really loves to name her vehicles. "Wow! That's Alice? It's so cool." I said in awe because it's just so amazing. It has been my childhood dream to drive a truck like that, but Dad bought me a Lamborghini Huracán EVO. And its red. Yes, I love red. "Yep, so, uh... You got somewhere else to go?" She asked me, and yes, this is it, she finally asked me. "Umm, no," I answered shortly so that she wouldn't notice that I'm effing excited. "Okay. Wanna take a ride and eat some ice cream later?" Yesss, she finally said it! And she's nervous? Mmm, she's just so cute, well, I don't know how many times I have said that she's cute. Because she really is. "Like a date?" I asked her while smiling like crazy. Oh, gosh, I think Becca has infected me with her craziness. "Uh, umm... Yeah, sort of?" She replied unsurely. Like, damn, my insides are in an unexplained situation right now. And she's blushing, and I know I'm blushing too. This is so epic. But it's like a dream come true. She opened the door for me and motioned me to get in. I thanked her, and she just winked at me in response. And I guess my face is as red as her car right now. I just don't know how many times I have thought of the word red today. Well, anyway, she went to the back seat and placed her guitar, then she proceeded to the driver's seat. "I wanna show you something. But before anything else, the first stop is at the Park." She told me and drove me somewhere, maybe heading to the park. I know she has the ability to drive me crazy. And I will gaily let her.
