*Pryce Winsley's POV*

"Anything strange, Babe? Are you it now?" Blair asked me while hiding behind a Captain America shield, and I looked at the moon again and let out a deep breath. I held tight on the rail of the balcony while concentrating on thinking to be the beast that I should be, or just even the wolf form, but I think nothing is happening.
"Still nothing, Blair. You can come out now." I replied, facing her, and she peeked and looked around, then tried to scan me with her red eyes from head to toe.
"Hmm, but your eyes are still purple. And you have a werewolf aura. That's weird." She remarked while walking nearer to me, and I shrugged my shoulders in response. I really don't feel anything unusual. 
"You know what is weird, my love? You in that shield. I better continue reading." I told her as I walked back inside and picked up the book I left to try if I would be able to shift. Maybe Alison was right— it's not tonight. Perhaps this coming blood moon would be the time it will show up again.
I took my phone on the glass table fronting the couch and tried to look at the time, but I went to open the front camera to look at myself to see if my eyes changed in color as my mate observed. I squinted my eyes and looked at it closer and gasped, "Wow! It really is purple." 
What I have read and heard people tell me is that the only purple-eyed werewolf is the one who has the soul of the rightful ruler. I guess everything makes sense to me now. I really am that one.
"Hey, Pumpkin! Is it better if I stay in my V-form tonight? Because... You could see me as prey if I remain human." My snooping girlfriend asked as she put down the thing in her hold on the table and sat down on the couch adjacent to mine while looking at me with a cheeky smile.
"Mmm, maybe you should. I'm glad you are taking precautions, as Ali advised." I answered and giggled at her nervous face, and I could really feel that she seemed to be cautious about my state.
I opened the book again to continue reading the remaining few pages, but then my eyebrows met in wonder as to why I could not read it quickly. It's just the normal pace.
"What is the matter, Cupcake?" Blair asked me, and I looked at her for a while and opened my mouth to ask her. But suddenly, I remembered what I have read about being an individual of different races— one might be dominant at a particular time, and the others would be unavailable at that moment. So, I guess my werewolf self is highly active now.
"Nothing. It's just... Let's watch some movies, instead, love? We still have four hours before bedtime." I answered and closed the book on my hold since I can't read this slowly. It would take me forever to finish a book. Blair stood up excitedly to head out of the room.
"Yeah, yeah, sure! Let's have Thor this time. All of it!" She cheered, grabbing her shield, and disappeared.
Well, we are watching movies as our pastime whenever we are about to go to bed. The movies nowadays are so damn good and are so entertaining. It makes us sometimes argue who is the best character in a movie, and who should have died, and whatnot.
I tried to think of teleporting to our movie room in the basement, but when I opened my eyes, I found myself still in where I was. 
Alright, I guess no vampireness for me this time.
Since I can't be in my other forms, I decided to walk downstairs, and my curious-looking mate greeted me in the living room.
"Anything wrong, Sweetheart? You can't teleport? No super speed?" She asked me, and I nodded my head in reply and saw her make an oh face.
"Okay, come here, let me take you with me then." She replied, offering me a hand to hold, and we quickly arrived in the basement.

While we were leaning on the headrest of the bed, watching the film rolling on the screen, I suddenly felt something tingling inside me when Blair reached for my left hand and gently held it. I turned to look at her face, and I scooted to her and rested my head on her chest, then she wrapped her right arm on me.
She kissed my hand in her hold, and I softly chuckled when she playfully bit it with her fangs. When her gaze went back to the screen before us, I brought her hand that held mine to my lips and proceeded to uncontrollably licking the back of it. 
I paused when I realized what I had been doing when Blair slowly turned her head to look at me with her bewildered face. Uh-oh. What did I just do to her hand?
My mate stayed quiet but still looked at me, blinking her eyes in wonder, and I quickly turned my gaze away from her questioning face. Damn, that is so embarrassing.
I buried my face in the crook of her neck because I don't want to be seen by her, and she began to giggle.
"Oh, don't be shy, Baby-blue. It's okay." She assured me, but she's still chuckling and wanted to see my face, but I went to hug her tighter to hide.
"No! Don't look at me!" I exclaimed, and I am hella sure that my face is as red as Thor's cape in the movie we're watching.
"No! Just... Just watch the movie, Blair!" I ordered her, and instead, she kissed my head while rubbing my back. I felt somewhat relaxed when she hugged me back.
"I'm sure you would be the most adorable wolf in history, Babe. I am so excited to see your paw prints on the ground, your fluffy furry tail, your perky ears, the look on your fierce purple eyes while you are in the cute wolf form, and of course, the epic puppy dog face. Now, that would be the real cute puppy face by then." She rambled, and I did feel her excitement, and we both laughed at it. After we recovered from our laughter, my mind went to think of the near future.
"But what if... I would be like... what the books tell me that I was whenever I came to my awakening shifting pace? The mindless, giant, and ferocious one? What would you do then? How would you deal with me? What if I would hurt people? What if I could hurt you? What will you do?" I asked her, curious to know what she would answer, and she moved to look me in the eyes.
"I would always be just... Me—the one who you hate and love. Don't worry. I think I can manage to calm you down. And I promise I will always be with you, Pryce. Whatever you will become, whatever you do, you are still my only love— the Queen of my life. Nothing could ever change that, and nothing can change the way I look at you. I love you so much, always and forever." She confessed with a feeling full of sincerity and devotion, and I want to cry right now. Oh, this is so extraordinary.
"Thank you, Blair. I love you, too, so much." I replied, trying to hold myself from letting out tears, and she gently pinched my right cheek while looking in my eyes and kissed my forehead. 
"Hmm, now that is what we call a teary-eyed puppy dog face." She remarked as she grinned, and I laughed when she tried to imitate my face ridiculously. 
"No, I don't look like that! Knock it off!" I playfully protested, but she just kept doing it and trying to collect tears that just made me laugh more at her face. 
It's good to have a girlfriend who makes you laugh whenever you are on the verge of crying your heart out.
"Yeah, I'm just messing with you, Honey-bee. Hey, look! We should playback the movie again. We missed a scene! Fudge it! That's the exciting part where he can't wield the hammer!" She uttered and groaned as we both went to focus on watching on the LED TV.
The night went on, and we watched two more movies of the same character. We headed to bed way past midnight— it's indeed later than planned.

"Good morning, Baby-blue! How was your sleep?" I was greeted by my girlfriend's cheerful voice when I opened my eyes as I just woke up from my blissful slumber.
"Uh, hey! It's great. By the way, good morning, my love! Someone must have had a good sleep, or have you slept? No?" I replied and asked her, and she just chuckled while slowly going on top of me and trapped me in her arms.
"Yep, you are absolutely right. So, no, I have not slept at all. I stayed in my V-mode. I was trying to obey what the white lady advised. And, I just sensed that there was no presence of a werewolf around this morning. You seem to be in your human form. Do you feel okay?" She answered and pecked my lips and went to sit upon the bed. I closed my eyes and tried to be a vampire and checked my fangs to see if it worked.
"Ooh, now that's cool! You are a vamp again." She let out, and I got up to tackle her to lay down again, making her laugh.
"Mhmm, now, since you have not slept, are you planning on sleeping today? The whole day?" I asked her as I went to sit on her core, and she showed me a bright knowing smile while wiggling her eyebrows in response. Then she wished to be in her human form, ready to do something she eagerly wanted to do last night, and I just smiled dubiously at her.
"Well, I'm sorry to say, my love, but we have an appointment with the Academy's principal. It's today that we will be meeting with Marvy Jennings, remember? Let's get up now and prepare breakfast. Also, practice the first things you will say to our old human woman friend, and how you will explain to her that we are not humans at all and why we are alive and haven't aged a day. Okay? I'll head to the kitchen now. Don't even think of sleeping. We just need an hour with her after our breakfast, and you can sleep all day and beyond." I commanded and saw her face slowly painted a look of dismay and pouted her lips. I leaned down to kiss her tempting luscious pink lips, and I teleported to the kitchen even before our lips touched.
Then I smirked when I heard her madly cursed from upstairs, "I'm going to f*ck you, b*tch! You really love messing with me, huh!"
Well, it's an excellent way to keep her awake. I just don't want us to be late with our meeting with the person who can help us claim the Academy back.
