Chapter 31 - Erratic

*Blair Claudette Cavanaugh's POV*
---
I ran closer to the big furious beasts, one fighting to release power and show supremacy while the other was fighting for her life, and I used telekinesis to make them both stop moving. I slowly tried to control Pryce's limbs to make her release Alison, but she seemed so damn strong.
Seconds passed, and I thankfully managed to make her remove her hands from the white werewolf's bleeding mouth, and I could feel my mate's anger. Now, her madness is onto me.
"Ali! Move!" I yelled and saw her struggling to get her opponent's right hind foot that had been on her stomach while the claws were digging deep into her flesh even though she was wearing armor.
When Alison successfully got away from Pryce's hold, I began breathing heavily and kneeled on the ground as I couldn't hold the mad beast any longer.
"Alison! Go! I'll... handle her!" I screamed, and my eyes widened in shock when Pryce had now gotten out of my hold and began chasing Ali, who's been trying to get away from the Rightful One.
I teleported to them and noticed how fast they could run using four legs in their beast forms. I ran with them with enough speed to catch up while dodging trees and bushes and finally levitated to get a good view of them running and chasing each other deep in the forest.
When I saw Pryce was about to snatch Alison, I teleported a few meters away from them and quickly created four walls of fire around Pryce to keep them separated, enough for her not to get burnt and suffocated.
It seemed the tension died down, and I felt my mate became calm for a moment while she was inside the tall burning fence. I looked at Alison, and she slowly turned to her human form, panting and looked exhausted while her body was almost covered with her blood.
"Damn, I almost died. Thanks, Blair." She let out and looked at her stomach through her torn armor, and her wounds began healing.
"You should head back there at the camp. It's not safe to be around her in the meantime while she's still out of control." I told the queen, and she nodded her head and said, "You should, too, Blair. It's better if we let her release her madness in the wild."
Then I suddenly felt another batch of angry emotions from the beast I have a mate bond with, and she doesn't like the idea of being alone here for sure.
"No. What if she will follow us? It's more dangerous if she is at the camp and destroys and kills everything there." I argued and noticed some movements from Pryce on the other side.
Alison let out a sigh and nodded her head in response. "Okay. But... What if she would attack you. That's why I followed you here to see if you were okay."
"She hasn't done anything to me since I got here with her. So... I presume she won't be hurting me. I'll keep her distracted and entertained if it's a must. It will help if you head back..." I explained and paused when I noticed what my mate was doing, and I cursed, "Fudge! She climbed up a tree."
Pryce jumped down and landed before us, which made my back and Ali's on the wall of fire.
"Easy there, nice big gray werewolf. It's us. Alison and Blair. She's Alison, and I am Blair. And I am your mate. Pryce? Are you there? Cupcake?" I uttered, trembling while trying to think of a plan to calm her down.
She stood on her two hind legs and became taller, while her other limbs seemed ready to strike any of us... Or both of us. We should get away from this standpoint here as soon as possible because I'm starting to feel the heat of the fire behind me as we keep stepping back from the furious beast.
When Pryce snarled and ran to us, I held Alison's right shoulder and quickly thought of a place.
The next thing I saw was my cousin running to us and putting us in her arms.
"Oh, you both are alive! How was Pryce? Al, what happened to you?" She cheered and asked her wife, who grabbed the robe handed by her daughter, Carson, and began taking off the golden armor on her body.
"Pryce... No, it's not her. It's the beast in her who attacked me. But it was handled by Blair." Ali answered and turned to me.
"I should go back to her. I kind of... I forgot to kill the huge fire there, and I fear it will start a wildfire around the Amazon forest. We don't want that, right?" I asserted and was ready to teleport back to my erratic mate, but my cousin stopped me.
"But it's dangerous. What if---" she argued, and I cut her off, saying, "I'll be fine. Don't worry. However, I have one request from you, Sander."
"What is it? Anything, I will help what I can." She asked, and I let out a heavy breath.
"Hide the moon. If moonlight makes her stronger, then I guess it would help if you keep it away from her." I told her, and she made a confused face, seeming like she didn't get it.
"Make it rain, you dumb water-controlling witch! Make damn big clouds to cover the blood moon from reaching its rays onto the earth's surface where Pryce is. You want me to explain more scientific methods to you, doctor?" I exclaimed my point, and she yelled back, "I get it! I know what to do."
"Great! Now, I will..." I paused when I suddenly felt danger coming nearer to us.
"She's here," Alison muttered, gazing west of this building we are in, and I gulped when I felt her aura, too.
"I don't know... But that werewolf... It can teleport." I let out, astounded, and Sander turned to look at me with a worried face.
"Well, you made her into that." She replied, stating the obvious, and seemed ready to do what she was told.
"Of course, I did. Now, I'm going to drive her away from this camp. Be safe, everyone." I answered and closed my eyes as I thought of my mate's location.
I opened my eyes and saw how the violent beast crushed and smashed a parked black van, and the people around began running away from her while they were in their regular wolf forms.
"Hey, Sweetheart! Looking for me? I'm here! Do you want to play tag? You're It, okay?" I called her out, and she looked my way, then growled while she began running to me.
Good. Now it's time to run for my life.
---
I kept running at speed enough to be at the sight of the werewolf chasing me.
When I could feel her being tired since the moonlight was nowhere to be found now, I began to slow down and stopped when she stopped in her tracks.
I stared at her and noticed she lifted her head to look at the sky and howled, making the clouds that covered the moon be cleared out.
"The fudge? She can control the weather? No way! Or maybe the moon goddess and cloud god or whatever have listened to her and helped her out. Great! I'm so gonna be dead." I cursed and mumbled and was startled when she looked my way and bared her teeth in outrage.
Now, I better keep her running then.
A couple of minutes passed, and I kept running till I arrived again at the place where I left my mate earlier. And here, before me, a tremendous huge fire that had begun crawling and wearing down tall trees and bushes while some animals ran away from the catastrophe I made.
I knelt on the ground, both hands on the dirt, and tried to concentrate on killing the massive fire. I know it took me a lot of energy when I released it, and it would eventually take me a lot more power to kill it now. What a damn stupid move did I make when I made this? And where the heck is the rain I requested? Still, it won't help that much. I just hope Pryce is still busy and in traffic when she gets here.
A brilliant idea suddenly popped into my not-so-dumb brain while I tried hard to extinguish the fire with my fire-controlling ability but couldn't do it fast. And instead, I created a huge forcefield around the affected area, about a half kilometer square now, to keep it enclosed until it dies. Still, a lot of energy is needed. I'm gonna get weaker sooner and need to drink blood even if my vampire form has contributed nothing in this case right now.
---
I have successfully killed the fire, and she's just on time. Now, I have no idea if I could still play tag with her.
She grumbled, looking intently at me, and I waved a hand at her.
"Hi, Babe! Lookin' good and strong. Time out, okay? I need to rest for a while." I greeted her with a cheeky, wide smile and started inhaling and exhaling.
My smile turned into a smirk when she charged at me while looking so angry. Run again.
"Why are you so mad at me, Pryce? Don't you know me? Am I really so annoying? Huh? Fudge! It's me, Blair, your mate, your girlfriend, your lover, and your... Soon to be wife!" I yelled while running away from her with my fastest normal speed since no more superspeed for me now. I still need to recharge.
"Stop chasing me! Just accept it that you can never catch me! And you wouldn't want me chasing you! You ain't gonna win, Pumpkin!" I kept rambling things, hoping she could remember me being the freak that I am, and I  am surely becoming weaker now. How long will I run?
While jumping over bushes and logs, one sturdy vine finally got the guts to trip me, making me fall to the ground, face first.
Fudge! And double fudge, she's here.
"Stop! Time out!" I belted and tried to stand, catching my breath, and faced her with a hand signaling, 'stop.'
She thankfully listened and stood on two legs five feet away in front of me.
I looked up to her, and we locked gaze, and I saw her unfamiliar bright purple eyes, and I inhaled deeply.
"Pryce, try to remember me. Blair. I am Blair. Your Blair. Your mate. Please. I mean no harm to you. I would never do anything that could hurt you because... I love you, whatever happens. Remember that. Please." I begged her and noticed how she seemed to contemplate, and she shook her head.
I took a step forward, but she growled at me and tried to tell me to stay away. Or is it not?
"You are Pryce Karstensen-Winsley, the Rightful Ruler of the whole race of werewolves. Also, you are the rightful owner of my heart. Please, remember who you are, Your Highness." I continued and bit my lower lip with a high hope that she would listen.
Then I knelt and bowed to her to show my respect. She's the Queen of this place, as well as the Queen of my life. I would even willingly die for her if needed.
With my head down, I noticed she walked nearer to me, and I felt her emotion of confusion and madness mixed. I know I am in a dangerous situation, but I am willing to take risks just to help Pryce be in control of this mighty beast before me and cause less destruction wherever.
I closed my eyes when she raised a hand and held my left shoulder, making me stand up on my feet, and gritted my teeth in pain. Her claws are tearing my flesh and crushing my collar bone, and she's doing it slowly and painfully.
"Shimmies! It hurts! Damnit! Aargh!" I hissed in pain and screamed when she lifted me from the ground.
I opened my eyes and cursed in my head when she threw me off, which made my back hit hard on a tree trunk.
I fell on the ground and felt my wounds not healing quickly, and I swallowed hard when she walked nearer to me.
"Pryce! Please, stop! I will never fight back. I will never hurt you." I yelled and tried to crawl away from her, and even if I think of teleporting, I can't as I am way too weak now. I have exerted so much power, and at the same time, I have these big, deep wounds on my shoulder. I'm gonna die again. No worries, because I am going to die happy in my girl's hands.
She got a hold of my left shoulder again and made me lie on my back, and I cursed, "Fudge it, b*tch! That hasn't healed yet. Can you hold the other one instead? Aah! This is absolutely not how I thought of you going wild. Damn, I underestimated you."
I thought I saw hell when I looked straight into her fierce eyes, and I held my breath when her right claws got a hold of my neck.
This is it—my end. But I won't surrender without giving it a try again.
"It's... me, B... Blair! Remember me, my mate." I stuttered with desperation, holding her arm that had been pinning me down on the ground, and I continued while my tears began streaming, "If this will be... My end... I want to let you know... That... That I... I love you so much, Pryce. More than anything in the world."
"And, I will... See you... again in our next life. Please... remember me." I cried, and with my fading vision, I saw her eye color became darker.
Then, everything around me turned pitch black.
