In preparing for the last game, Prince was relentless. Although he was exhausted, he would step into the field as if everything had vanished. Every time he kicks the ball, it seems to be on fire, in contrast to his prior kicks. It was almost as if he had found a new source of strength. The day of the last game, which was held on the Hilliard field, had finally arrived. It includes almost all of Borstal’s students, resulting in Hilliard’s school being filled. "Borstal will win the last game. Wishing you success, Prince Augustus!" I lowered my head. He smiled as he caressed the back of my head. "Thank you, stupid negie." I can’t keep a smile off my face till I get out of the locker room. Until I didn't notice that I was being dragged into a room."Deacon?" I let out a yell. With his palm, Deacon covered my lips. "Gemma, could we just chat for a minute?" He asked. "We’re having a conversation already," I said. "All right," he said with a sigh before speaking again. "As for what I did, I’m very sorry. I’m at a loss for words with you at this time..." "All right, Deacon, I understand you didn’t mean it," I said. "Really?" He put his arm around me. "I swear I’m not going to do it again." "It’s not going to happen again, because if it does, I swear I’ll never forgive you," I warned. He stepped away from his grasp. "I’ll do all in my power to win. This game is for you, Gemma." He said. As he moved his lips closer to mine, I knew what he was up to, so I immediately avoided it. "I- I’m heading back to the f- field." I stumbled over my words. "Alright, ok." He nodded his head. I hurriedly stepped out onto the field. I took a seat among the four of them. "Gemma, are you feeling alright?" Felipe asked. "Yes," I said. "Given your current appearance, it seems as if some serial murderer was chasing you," Janus joked. "I'm feeling a little worried," I added. Elias put his hand on my shoulder and grinned. "There is no need to worry, that Prince Augustus will win the game." "Hmm..." I said as I nodded. I wasn’t anxious about the game; instead, I was concerned about Deacon nearly kissing me. When the Hilliard team first came onto the field, the whole stadium erupted in excitement, and Borstal quickly followed. When the players took their positions and began scurrying for the ball, the entire crowd cheered and clapped. Deacon received the ball, but Prince Augustus would not allow it to happen; therefore, he halted them until the prince snatched the ball. There were no Borstal students who didn’t cheer for the team. Everyone experiences a range of emotions, particularly when the ball is stolen from Borstal. In comparison to the practice game, their battles are much different. It was more intense, and breathtaking, and I couldn’t even move on the bleacher I was sitting on because I was so anxious. "BISON! BISON!" yells the crowd. The others were nearly unable to speak because they were so enthused about the prince’s team. "Go, Prince!" I yelled with glee. Tensions between the two sides became worse when Deacon and Prince Augustus engaged in a brawl on the field in the midst of the game. Their team halted them. When the two of them had regained their calm, they returned to play. "Prince! PRINCE! " The score is tied at 2-2, and there is just a short time left to determine who will win this last game. Hilliard got the ball, and we were terrified, but we didn’t let that stop us from cheering. The battle is too close. Whenever Borstal has possession of the ball, Hilliard’s team will return it to them. We are constantly monitoring Borstal’s every move. Hilliard came close to scoring, but Kevin was able to steal the ball away from one of Deacon’s men. When he got close, he kicked it towards the Prince, who would then kick the ball into the net with such force that it almost stopped my heart from racing. "GOAL!" the speaker yelled at the audience. All of us shouted and leaped in celebration as Borstal won. "We’ve won!" Jonah let out a yell. Felipe, who seemed to be having a good time, caught my attention. Others, who were overjoyed, couldn’t keep their tears from flowing. Even though they had previously won, there was still a sense of exhilaration on their faces when they received the trophy for the third time. "Bison! Bison! Bison!" yells the crowd. "Your prince, Gemma, is undoubtedly talented." Tal appeared out of nowhere. "Tal?" All of them approached Tal and struck him in the arm with a single blow that wasn’t strong. "You’ve finally shown up. We thought you were dead." Jonah joked. "I’m sorry, but I couldn’t make time for you guys. One of the scholars means that I have to accomplish a lot of school-related tasks." Tal explained. "It’s good that we were able to talk for a short time, though." "It’s the same for us, dude," Felipe said as he high-fived Tal. And now it’s my time to make my way over to him. "Hey," I said as a greeting. "How have things been going for you?" "I’m doing OK, Gemma," Tal responded in kind. "So it seems that you and the prince are becoming closer, huh?" "Well, I can’t tell if we’re close by now. All I can say is that he’s changed since then." "Change in…" "Change in a good way." Tal made a mess of my hair. "I’m sorry that I didn’t get back to you after the club shut down. You know, I was very depressed at the moment." "I realize that it’s difficult to let go of something you’ve grown to love, Tal. You are the only one of us who has been very affected after they closed the music club." I touched the back of his shoulder. "You love music more than you love yourself." "Yeah, you’re right." Tal let out a giggle. The Borstal team has the grand prize, but Prince Augustus is nowhere to be seen. I searched the area until I caught a glimpse of him sprinting up to where I was seated. He didn’t acknowledge others who congratulated him; instead, he approached me straight. I grinned. "Congratulations, Prince! You did it!" In an instant, his lips were pressed against mine, and It started to tickle my body. My heart has begun thumping like crazy. "Thanks to you, I won." He cracked a grin. After he kissed me, he descended to the ground once again. I was stunned by what he did. I couldn’t even open my mouth in shock. And as a result of what he did, it became crystal clear to me how I felt about him. As much as I hate admitting it, I'm head over heels for the prince. "Gemma!" the five silly shouted. I looked at all of them. Even they were surprised by the prince’s actions. While most of them grimaced, Tal grinned, as if he was still pleased with what had happened. "I think you’re the real winner." Tal gave a sly smile. My thoughts were quickly drawn to Deacon. His face was expressionless after seeing what Prince Augustus had done to me. I know he’s upset. The fact that the prince kissed me and I didn’t avoid it. "Deacon..." I mumbled to myself. Deacon averted his gaze and made his way away from the field.
