Chapter 75. New Plan

Leo sipped the coffee that was in front of him lazily. Occasionally, he glanced at the watch in his hand, making sure not to miss the agreed meeting time. Even so, as time went by, Leo's face grew more chaotic every time he looked at his watch. Perhaps, the person who was going to meet him had been too late. Even the coffee that Leo was drinking was now gone, indicating that he had drunk it all while waiting. Feeling irritated, a small groan escaped from him, attracting the attention of several other diners.
“Where the heck is he? Take a long time. Don't you realize that I'm a busy person?” Leo checked his phone, trying to find the message he had sent to a specific person.
While scrolling through the messages, Leo occasionally took a quick glance to make sure that the person he was looking for was still in the room. The wrinkles on his forehead deepened, showing how frustrated he was. Another exasperated sigh escaped as he found the message he was looking for. The last message from the person only said that he was already on his way and would arrive soon. Message sent nearly two hours ago. After typing to ask where the person was, Leo lightly threw the phone on his desk and called the waiter.
“Can I help you?” The maid could clearly see Leo's expression of dislike and annoyance, so she was frightened but tried to endure it all. If he doesn't behave professionally, he might be scolded by his superiors.
“Make me the same order as this one. I'll pay when the coffee comes.”
With trembling hands, the waiter took the empty coffee cup. “I-will be prepared immediately. Are there any other additions?” Leo, who heard that, raised an eyebrow, thinking for a moment.
“Prepare the best bread here, I want it served warm.”
Leo's tone was so sharp and piercing, anyone who heard it could misunderstand. Even so, Leo didn't care at all. He thought that he would do whatever he pleased, if people didn't like it, then that was their problem. Because of that, Leo never thinks too much about other people. If he can't take care of himself, why should he think about other people's opinions. The maid finally nodded her head and left Leo.
Who knows how long it's been, Leo is now presented with his second cup of coffee as well as warm bread. He brutally began to eat the bread, his expression sour because he didn't find the person he was waiting for. While he was eating, suddenly someone tapped him hard on the shoulder, startled Leo and almost took out the bread he was chewing. The annoyance that was there made him cast hateful glances at people, who looked at him with a mischievous smile.
“Just arrived?” Leo's tone was once again sharp. Even so, the person in front of him averted his gaze. “I've been waiting for this long!”
“Well… I got stuck. What should I do?” Leo sighed, not taking the remark seriously. He felt that Marsha was just lying. “So why did you suddenly want to see me again? What shocking news do you want to give me?”
“You know Dave, right?” Leo, who had finished his bread, pushed the plate to the middle, getting Marsha's attention. The girl looked at the empty plate before looking at Leo. "I want to know everything about him. I'm sure you must have information like that, right?”
“Suddenly? What's the matter?” Marsha, who had already ordered, also frowned. He never thought that Leo would ask him such a thing, especially so suddenly.
Leo, who heard Marsha's words, was silent. He hesitated to tell the matter at hand now. Even so, he also felt that Marsha had the right to know, so he could provide advice and the right treatment for this problem. Still, Leo still had doubts about Marsha. How good is he to be able to provide complete information about Dave? The doubt inside Leo never went away, but because of that, he also felt burdened.
Marsha could only watch from where he was sitting, Leo's ever-changing expression indicated that he was deep in thought. Until finally, Marsha could not stand it. If you really need it, you should just say it from the start. Because of that, Marsha, who was already sipping her coffee, pounded the table lightly, managing to pull Leo out of his thoughts. The man jumped and looked at Marsha with an expression of surprise and half fear.
“Hurry, you said you were busy?” Leo nodded his head, seemingly thinking back for a few moments before he nodded again. “You have a issue with Dave? Because of Aini? What's he doing again? I'm confident that Aini is now far away from Dave.”
“Yes, they are already far away,” said Leo. “Is that what you did?” Marsha chuckled softly before shaking her head, getting closer to Leo.
"You think? There's nothing I'd rather see than other people sinking,” Marsha whispered right in Leo's ear, making the man feel goosebumps. “So, tell me everything. Your secret will be safe.”
"This is Dave's issue with his company. I feel that he wants to be close to Aini again by being close to his father, Hendramo.”
Leo, who started his story, was silent for a while, again hesitating about what he should say. What if he chose the wrong words and made himself look like the bad guy instead? Not wanting to think about such things any further, Leo finally sighed and took out the copy of proposal he was carrying around. He wanted Marsha to analyze the writing directly. With one raised eyebrow, Marsha took it and started reading it.
It didn't take long for him to read through the proposal, so he started to listen to what Leo had to say in full, saying that he had now accepted the cooperation offer. To be more precise, Hendramo accepted the offer. When finished telling, suddenly Marsha gave a grin, a grin of satisfaction that Leo didn't expect. He now feels lucky to have selected a quiet place. No one will notice the conversation between the two of them.
“Your choice is right. Good work.” Leo blinked his eyes for a few moments, apparently unable to understand what Marsha was talking about with the incident they were facing. Leo even tilted his head, like trying to think.
“Exactly… why?” Leo asked to be certain. Marsha lowered the proposal in her hand before looking at Leo with a serious look, her eyes also seemed to say that this matter was not to be trifled with.
"Because I'm going to send someone who can leak everything Dave said. An easy guy like him would be easy to take advantage of.”
"Who are you going to use? That means you have to tell this problem to other people, right? If they leak it?”
“No way.” Marsha gave a smile that showed she was very confident. "Because I'm sure the person in question also has his grudge against Dave. He will sink … to the lowest point.”
