Chapter 88. Clearing Up Problems

“Hah… you troublesome parents.” Leo, who was still in his room, stared out of his not-so-big window. From up there he could see Hendramo, who had run away rushing. Just by seeing his reaction, Leo knew very well that he was hiding something. Leo shook his head. “I have to find a way. I have to make Aini want to marry me as soon as possible.”
In himself, who looked panicked, Leo immediately took his cell phone and called someone. It took some time before the person he was calling picked up the phone, making Leo's face sour and full of annoyance. As soon as the ringtone changed to that of someone he knew very well, Leo immediately replied with a scream. He simply did not wait any longer to discuss the matter at hand.
Leo's breath was a little tired when he finished talking to the person on the other side of the phone. His face didn't change at all, instead the wrinkles on his forehead seemed to have deepened. The emotions that were still growing and eating away at him now made him pound on the table loudly, he didn't know what else to do to assuage his anger. All of these problems were Hendramo's doing, and now he is the one assigned to clean them up. What a pain.
With a long sigh and Leo ruffling his hair, he finally started to behave to leave the room and also meet the person he had contacted earlier. His feelings were completely unsettled as he made his way to the rendezvous, afraid that something bad would happen with every second he wasted. When he arrived, he immediately trotted over to meet the person who was sitting quietly sipping a cup of coffee.
“Have arrived? It's too late,” said the none woman other than Marsha herself. He took off the sunglasses he was wearing and looked Leo up and down, noticing that not only his looks were messed up, but also down to his clothes. Seeing that made Marsha chuckle as she shook her head, put her glasses back on.
"Why are you acting so calm? You know that when Hendramo made a wrong move, all his efforts…”
“Sssstttt … don't shout, Leo. It's already late, I'll disturb the others.” Marsha lowered her glasses slightly to show a threatening look in her eyes, as if she wanted to say something and ordered Leo to be quiet.
Leo, who was being treated like that for the first time, was paying attention to his surroundings. Indeed, several people who seemed to be relaxing that night were watching them. “Quickly tell me your plan!” Leo exclaimed stifled, he also tried to give a threatening look, not wanting to be defeated by someone like Marsha.
“Does someone like you need a plan, huh?” Marsha let out a scornful chuckle, as if he wanted to say that the current Leo was very different from the one he knew and indicated that he was weak.
“What do you think I'm bad at, huh? If it wasn't for Dave and Aini, I would have beaten Hendramo for sure!” Still in his annoyance, Leo finally banged the table once again.
Marsha herself could only shake her head at Leo's behavior like that. It was like dealing with a teenage boy going through puberty, making things difficult. Even just calming her down would require significant effort, that's why Marsha chose to remain silent and sipped her drink again. Inside, he was already cursing Leo for embarrassing himself in public. Luckily, he was wearing glasses so no one would recognize him that well.
During those few moments, Leo just kept on grumbling to himself, uttering various harsh words which he aimed at both Hendramo and Dave. It felt like he was trying to increase his confidence that all these problems would be handled properly. The wrinkles on his forehead slowly began to disappear with more and more harsh words, but at least he felt better after doing it, so his emotions had also calmed down.
Knowing that her emotions were not as bad as before, finally Marsha started to look at the man again. “So you want to know my plan?”
“Yes. What's your plan to get closer to Marissa and Dave? If they're both busy, Dave himself definitely doesn't have time to think about Aini, right? When Aini feels lonely, there I will act to be someone who is by her side.” Marsha seemed to think for a few moments, he tapped the glass that was almost empty. “Do you have a better idea than this one?”
“Marissa is… really jealous, right? Lately, you could say he's possessive of Dave. If that's the case, we'll take advantage of that to beat Aini.”
“You are crazy? If Aini gets sick, the one with Dave is even more worried about her, right?!” Leo, who didn't understand Marsha's mindset, felt so angry that he almost banged on the table again, if it wasn't for Marsha himself who stopped him. “What are you doing? Let me go! I don't want you to touch it!”
“Okay, fine,” Marsha said lightly before chuckling. “Just so you know if you don't have my help, what can you do, huh?” That's true. Leo couldn't do anything to Dave, everything that happened to Dave right now was because of Marissa, who was an acquaintance of Marsha. “Are you ready to listen to me now?”
Even though Leo didn't want to admit it, in the end he swallowed hard and nodded, deciding to listen to Marsha to the end first. “Yes. I'm ready to listen to you. But whatever this plan, it can't fail.”
“Calm down, calm down. Who do you think I am, anyway? I'm not a weak opponent, really.”
Leo's frown was back, just not as bad as before. He took a deep breath and sat up straighter than before, ready to hear what Marsha had to say. Meanwhile, the woman seemed to be sipping her drink calmly before sitting up straight, as if she wanted to say that this time she was going to say something severe and couldn't be missed.
Leo's ears were alert, catching the slightest sound. Understanding the situation, Marsha deliberately brought her body closer to Leo before whispering in his ear. In fact, she let the sighs from each of her words hit the ears of the men, who were already starting to blush. His face that was also red made him unable to stand it, so he pushed back his chair feeling a bit panicked by what had just happened.
“What's my plan?”
“You mean… once Dave…?” Marsha nodded.
“If he loves Aini that much, it means he can never stay silent and take rash steps, right? Aini is now in your hands, so you are controlling a girl like her. Everything is so easy!”
“What do you promise?” Marsha, who heard Leo's sudden words, raised an eyebrow, trying to understand what he just said. “You promise that everything we do, even though it's dangerous, won't be life-threatening, right? I don't want Aini to do anything.”
After understanding what Leo meant, Marsha laughed so hard. “Just calm down. I'm a promise keeper girl. As long as you don't go against my words, you and Aini can live happily together in peace.
