Because the two children would rather not be with Aini, in the end the woman was forced to return home with Leo. Even though, inside Aini's heart, she had hoped and prayed that she would not have to deal with that man again. Unfortunately, it appears to me that his prayer will be difficult to be granted. With a deep sigh, Aini watched outside along the way. He tried to divert his thoughts to the man beside him, whistling happily. 
Without needing to explain why he felt happy, Aini already knew why. He only has a few months left until the end of the year. And in those few months he should be able to stop Leo. For Leo himself, he must have felt pleased because he knew that something like that was impossible for Aini to do. Indeed, now that he thought about it, it would be very difficult for him and Lia to find a way out of Leo's trap. In fact, she would rather not marry this man at all, regardless of what. 
Aini's long breath caught Leo's attention, so he raised an eyebrow. “What is the problem? Try telling me.”
“No, nothing,” said Aini quickly. He didn't know Leo would be able to hear him. Sometimes, Aini still felt a little awkward with the fact Leo was trying to be nice to her. Is it possible that this is just his trick to get close? 
"Dislike that. We're getting married soon, it's great to be open about each other's feelings, right?” Hearing that, Aini could feel her brow furrow deeper. He really regretted saying that he would do what Leo wanted now. “How? Still don't want to talk? Too bad, huh.”
“Don't disturb me,” Aini said softly before she decided to close her eyes. Actually, she was a little afraid that Leo would take her to a strange place, but this time she couldn't help but feel sleepy. 
“Go to sleep. I'm not going to do anything of that sort.”
Right now, Aini didn't know at all whether she should feel relieved or not by the fact that Leo still respected her. He was just going to make the most of this time he had. Aini had fallen asleep by herself not long after her eyes closed. He could also faintly hear classical music that Leo had purposely installed. He was so deep in his dream that he didn't realize he was home. 
The shaking of her body that wasn't gentle at all made Aini wake up. At first, he thought it was Leo, even though it was a little weird because he used violence. In fact, the person who woke Aini was Hendramo. The expression on her face showed that she wasn't happy at all, regardless of what the matter was, she wasn't happy at all. Aini took a quick glance to find Leo who wasn't in the car. 
“Hurry down, we will talk about this matter more.”
“What is the problem?” asked Aini who felt like someone stupid. He blinked his eyes confusedly, the drowsiness inside him still trying to take over his body. Even though he didn't do anything heavy, why did he feel so tired? 
“Don't pretend you don't know and don't understand! We were going to talk about your attitude at the meeting last night!” With that, Hendramo pulled Aini's hand to go inside, found Niar pouring something into a bottle and giving it to Leo. Leo said goodbye to Aini and just looked away, as if he wasn't concerned about the woman who felt pain in her hand. 
"Already up? It's so nice for you to sleep because you're with Leo,” Niar commented sarcastically. He glared at Aini hatefully, while his eyes were bright red. “Are you aware of what you did earlier during the meeting? Just decide for yourself? You act like we're criminals, you know?!”
Niar without hesitation, pushed Aini's head with his forefinger, while Hendramo was still holding Aini's arm. “That one word of yours could make a bad impression on Leo. You should be grateful that he doesn't hate or scold you!”
“Are you guys even listening to what you guys are talking about? Here, it's obvious that you guys are trying to corner me and make me a criminal, right? Even though… you guys are the criminals!”
One slap landed on Aini's cheek, while Hendramo looked at his daughter full of anger, very different from when he looked at his other two children. At first, Aini felt that it was time for her to fight for her destiny, for her parents. However, what he felt and saw right now was completely not what he had expected? The resistance he tried to muster turned against himself. For Aini, fighting would not bring her an advantage at all. 
"Watch your words! We've helped you to get a decent life! We have given you a chance to become someone who lives well enough, is this your reward to us?!”
“Sufficient?” Aine snorted. Even though he chose to remain silent and accept everything, this time he was again ignited by his emotions. “Isn't all the money you're after all for yourselves? You guys are just trying to find reasons for me to feel guilty of something I never even asked for. Isn't that even more disgusting?” The tears that had been held back by Aini now slowly began to fall. Even though he knows, crying will not solve the problem. 
“Watch your words!” Once again, Hendramo hit Aini. On her face, there was absolutely no regret for doing something like that to Aini. “Listen, okay. We are the ones who saved you from all kinds of poverty and also the misery that you will get in the future, so, never argue and behave properly like an obedient child!”
“I'm also fed up with acting innocent and kind. In fact, out there he seduces many men, right? She's trying to get close to other men who already have partners.”
Aini's eyes widened. It can't be denied anymore, they must be talking about Dave. “What do you know about that man?”
“Hah? What are you talking about now?” replied Niar in a tone so pretentious that it made Aini feel annoyed again. “Don't try to meddle with adults!"
“What do you guys know about Dave?!” Amok Aini who cannot stand it. Hendramo, who didn't like hearing that name at all, suddenly pushed Aini towards the nearest wall. His eyes were like someone who had lost his mind. 
“Don't ever say that name in front of me or in this house. If you still want to live in peace without any problems, don't ever approach that man! Return to your room and reflect on your actions today! You really embarrassed me in front of Leo. Luckily, the end of the year is only a few months away.”
“Darling, you shouldn't be so soft on him.” Niar tried to speak in a sweet tone before glancing at Aini sarcastically. 
Knowing that she had lost the battle that hadn't even started yet, finally Aini lowered her head and walked back to the room unsteadily. It's useless. It was useless for him to try to resist. Furthermore, it was useless for him to try to be strong. In the end, all of that would only be won by his father because he was the head of the family. The one who takes the decisions in this house.
