“Lia, why is your fridge empty?” Aini, who was checking her friend's fridge, frowned, feeling confused about why there was nothing in it at all. Even though he usually fills the fridge so Aini can cook for the both of them. 
“Ah, sorry. I've been busy lately, when I buy ingredients, it's just me who eats. It's useless if you cook a lot.” Hearing that, Aini seemed to think for a few moments before nodding in agreement. 
“That's true, really. I'm sorry I moved suddenly.”
“Hey,” Lia called in a tone that instantly turned a little scary. “Who is it that blames you? I don't mind at all if you have to move. Again, moving this time isn't what you want, is it?”
Understanding the situation, Aini decided to chuckle a little while scratching her nape awkwardly. He simply did not have the courage to dodge or give other reasons to Lia, choosing to accept his fate now. The two of them were silent for a few moments, apparently thinking about what to eat for the night. Of course, each of them has a different menu of choices too, so you don't know what's good. 
“Want to eat outside?” Aini's suggestion was answered with a shake of her head by Lia. 
“We just ordered. While waiting for the order to arrive, you can tell me about Leo and the wedding date that Arjuna brought with him earlier.”
Aini raised an eyebrow when she heard Lia say that, it seemed that her suspicions were true about the relationship between Lia and Arjuna, who were more than just friends. “In that case, okay. Let me order, OK? Is there anything you want in particular?”
“Ah, just order at this restaurant. They have everything on the menu.”
After telling Aini about the restaurant in question, for a few minutes the woman only focused on her cell phone to make food choices. Lia who saw that, didn't know whether she should feel sad or feel guilty. On the one hand, he felt that he had done everything he could to protect Aini, but looking at the bruises on her face, it was only natural for him to think otherwise. 
As soon as she finished ordering, finally Aini became silent again and glanced at Lia timidly. He was trying to assess whether now was a good time to strike up a conversation. He was well aware of the uncomfortable expression etched on Lia's face. It was clear that now he was afraid. Until finally Lia sighed, the woman looked at her best friend deeply and urged her to immediately say the problem. 
In fact, Aini had absolutely no intention of telling it. Every time he thought about his attempt to fight against father and Leo yesterday, he felt ashamed of himself. He tried to fight back, but he simply didn't have a solid foundation. That was what made him feel ashamed of himself. Even so, he had promised to explain it to Lia so he took a deep breath and finally started to tell her story. 
“Actually, it all happened very suddenly. That's why I didn't have the chance to tell you anything or ask for help.” Lia just nodded her head, a sign that she didn't have a issue with that at all. He just wanted to know how Aini could get that bruise. “In front of Niar and also his two children, they both decided to set a wedding date. At first, I was trying to bluff, I should have realized that something like that I would not be able to do. And well… my attempt, of course, failed and made them even more angry.”
“Should they need to be checked on why they get emotional so easily!” Lia, who was also carried away by anger, clenched her fists before slapping her table. He hoped that by doing so, he could quell the anger surging within him. If Hendramo was in front of him, it was certain that the man would suffer a broken bone. 
After calming down, Lia finally looked back at her best friend and told her to tell a more complete story. A small smile was etched on Aini's lips, and she started to tell everything in detail. Whenever she noticed that Aini was feeling uncomfortable, Lia tried to calm her down and asked her to stop for a few moments. Even though it looks like nothing, Aini feels very lucky to have a friend like that. 
Until finally the story was finished, both of them were silent for a longer time. It was true that they wouldn't be able to do anything against Leo as well as Hendramo. Neither of them are only weak in terms of power, but also in position. It's true that Arjuna and Dave will take care of this. It's just that Lia couldn't accept that fact, it felt like she gave up before going to war, and that feeling wasn't a feeling that Lia liked at all. 
“What can I do to help?” Lia blurted out suddenly, managed to make Aini surprised. He understood what his best friend was saying, but he was just trying to avoid understanding it. “Aini, let me help you. There must be something I can help you with!”
Aine shook her head hard. It wasn't that he didn't want Lia's help, or didn't want to ask for her help. It's just that Aini knows how scary this problem is, so she would rather not harm Lia. “No, no. It's not necessary. I don't want you to threaten the existing situation. So far, we have lived well…”
“Why live well if the best friend I really care about right now feels hurt?” cut Lia. His facial expression instantly hardened, different from what Aini was used to seeing. “Guys like Leo need to be beaten first to understand the situation!”
“But, my father is also behind all this trouble.” Aini really knows that it is impossible for her to change Lia's mindset, so the only way is to make her realize how big the danger is. 
"I know why. But that doesn't scare me. The thing that actually makes me afraid is losing my best friend. Therefore, you don't have to feel alone or awkward to ask for my help, ok?”
Aini looked at Lia's radiant face before nodding her head and smiling too. Even though she looks like a rough person, Aini really knows and realizes that Lia has a heart that is so soft and easily hurt. Therefore, he would fight really hard for Lia too. To get out of Leo's trap, he will ask for Lia's help, as his best friend wants. They couldn't continue discussing it yet, suddenly, Lia's doorbell rang. 
“Oh, the food must have arrived. I'll take it first.” Without waiting for Aini's reply, Lia immediately went to the front and returned carrying two large bags of food. "Well, if for example, we want to think about how to beat Leo, we definitely have to eat first, right? Because thinking with a full stomach is the most powerful way!”
“Aren't you going to be sleepy later?” teased Aini who helped Lia open all of their orders. 
“D-don't say that! It's impossible!” Aini chuckled lightly at Lia's response. 
“Yes I know. Because Lia will always protect me and take care of me. No matter when or where, Lia is always by my side.”
