After the ferris wheel ride, they went back to the hotel and had Jae-seong sleep at around 6pm until the morning after. They spent the last two days at Universal Studios except for Yuta who wanted to spend the two days with his family. Two days went by faster than they expected and now, it's time to go back home.
"Here, so you can message me. And you can DM me on my socials", Jae-seong said giving Vernon her number so they can contact each other through the messaging app that they are using. "See you soon", Jae-seong asked. "See you soon", Vernon answered pulling her into a hug. "It's just a few more months plus we'll keep in contact, stop acting like we'll never see each other again", Jae-seong said as she separated from the hug.
They then waved goodbye to Vernon and went to the first class lounge. "Why first class though? We can fly economy. It's just a fast trip", Jae-seong asked Taeyong. "Because I hate economy", Taeyong answered in the most disgusted tone. "He said rich", Jae-seong mocked. "He is rich", Jaehyun said making them laugh. "Yeah yeah yeah whatever, take a picture of me", Jae-seong said handing Jaehyun her phone. "And here it goes again", Mark said walking past them. They spent the hour taking pictures and posting them.
Flight 284 to Seoul, South Korea now boarding. All passengers are expected to board the plane within the next 10 minutes. Thank you.
"I don't want to go yet", Jae-seong whined. "Alright we'll leave you, just inform us when you're going home, okay", Lucas teased gaining a punch from Jae-seong. "Next time, I'll be aiming at your face", Jae-seong said walking past him. "If you can reach it", Lucas teased again which made the others laugh.
They then boarded the plane with Jae-seong sitting right behind Taeyong again. She then decided to peek at Taeyong. “I kept my promise”, she said out of nowhere startling Taeyong. “Jeez, didn’t have to startle me like that”, Taeyong said holding unto his chest. “But you startled me the first time around”, she responded. “Okay, fair. But what promise”, Taeyong now asked. “You seriously don’t remember”, she face palmed herself. “Enlighten me”, he said now facing her. “Our flight to here? Don’t you really remember”, Jae-seong asked again. “Oh yeah, sorry, just had a lot on my mind. But anyways, I’m glad you kept your promise”, Taeyong said with a smile which made Jae-seong smile as well before sitting back down.
"Yaaa! We're back", Taeyong exclaimed. "Why are you so happy about it", Jae-seong asked grumpily. "Because I have so much work to get back to", Taeyong answered. "And that is a good thing how", Yuta asked. "I never said it was a good thing", Taeyong said still smiling. "Sometimes, he could get a little weird", Ten whispered. "A whole lot of weird", Mark added. "Our ride is here", Taeyong exclaimed in a singsong tone.
The ride home was rather peaceful and quiet. Ten chose to be dropped off with Jae-seong and helped with their things. He also took the opportunity to spend a little more time with Jae-seong alone. "Wanna go for a walk", Ten asked Jae-seong as soon as they finished unloading. "Like the old days", Jae-seong asked. "Don't speak as if it was years ago", Ten said as Jae-seong giggled. Ten extended his hand and Jae-seong gladly took it. "Hey! Be back before dinner", Jaehyun exclaimed as the two took off. "Didn't even ask me first", Jaehyun muttered.
"Where are we going", Jae-seong asked. "Don't you already know", Ten asked as well. "Whatever, just drag me", Jae-seong said being willingly dragged by Ten. They walked until they reached their destination. "I thought you like going here alone", Jae-seong asked. "I thought I told you that it was nice to finally bring someone with me", Ten asked back in a sarcastic tone. Jae-seong laughed at Ten's reaction. "Alright then, from now on, this is our spot", Jae-seong said sitting on the grass looking at the city view. "That ain't a bad idea", Ten said sitting down as well.
"What happens next", Ten asked. "What do you mean", Jae-seong asked giving Ten the question mark face. "After Japan? After all this? What happens next", Ten asked. "We will continue on with our lives I guess", Jae-seong answered very casually. "That's it", Ten asked. "Well, what do you want", Jae-seong now asked as she lied down the grass. "Of course I would be asking for the impossible if I said I want you to be officially mine", Ten said looking at Jae-seong who was admiring the sky. "You know it isn't. But I'm not saying that it will most definitely be the final outcome. There is just a possibility", Jae-seong said looking at Ten. "Only if you play your cards right", she continued now staring into his eyes.
