Leaving Anu in the hospital, Bayo went with Caroline, his wife's best friend to his house. Though struggles rages within, but anger overruled all caution. You can say that he threw all caution to the wind. Meanwhile, Anu laid in the confines of the hospital, writhing in pain at the lower abdomen. Pain tore at her heart, the pain of rejection, loss, betrayal and abandonment. Her world shattered before her very eyes. The hope of becoming a medical doctor seemed bleak with the turn of events. Bayo is gone, pregnancy gone, and maybe her ambition is gone too. She sighed, turned her face to the wall. Then the song of hope came to her, though forgotten the artist: You made a way. You made a way. When your back is against the wall, and it seems as if it was over, You made a way. So I'm standing here only because you made a way. The song kept on going through her mind, finally gave a voice to it. The song broke through her depressed mind and prevailed. She let out, with a sonorous voice. Her voice filled the whole room and everything faded away. Her fears, worry, doubt, pains flew out of the door. Nothing else mattered to the twenty year old beautiful mother of one, except the Lord. "God will make her way! Maami, don't bother yourself, God will make her way. Heh, heh, God has not abandoned me. I'm a product of His Mercy. Mercy will speak for me. Mercy will fight for me. Favour will follow Mercy. Hmm, Hallelujah! Jesus has given me victory! He has given me, victory! Jesus has given me victory! He has given me victory! Hallelujah!" Anu sang a new song of victory. The Mother could only weep for Joy. Grateful that her daughter is fine. Together they will survive the storm of life. "Yes Anu, there is no problem. We will overcome all these phase of life. The Lord is on the throne. I believe that you will succeed." She affirmed, as she wiped her tears using handkerchief in her bag. Anu was discharged three days later, and went to her mom's house. While they were eating fresh boiled corn, and groundnut her mom brought from the market in the hot afternoon, Pastor Joseph and his wife, Pastor Funke strolled into the house. "Ha, Pastor and Pastor Mrs, you are very much welcome to our humble abode." Mrs Moji greeted cheerfully, as she stood up,to offer them a seat on the couch in the living room. "You are welcome." Anu muttered more to herself and turned her face away. She has not forgiven them for believing her husband over her testimony. Wondered why they were around. She mused in her heart. "Nice to see you ma. We both came to check on you because it's been a while. We decided to come, moreover one of our sisters came to tell us about Anu's Family problems." Pastor Joseph declared. "Thank you very much sir, but we are fine. You can see that she is fine too. I will be in Church on Sunday." Mrs Moji replied with a smile. "Anu my dear, I know that I have hurted you, but please forgive me. Your husband came in subtly to cause confusion." Pastor Funke explained. "Hmm, it's okay but I will not come to your Church again. Remember that you called me a seducer, all sorts of names. I don't want your problem again. It is well sha. You were once my role model. I so much believed in you but you chose to believe a liar, womanizer like my husband. A man who has not yet accepted Jesus? You disssappointed me ma." Anu opened up her mind, furrowed her brow and pouted her lips. "Please find it in your heart to forgive me. I know better now." Pastor Funke replied with a sober look. "Please Sister Anu, we are deeply sorry. To err is human, but to forgive is divine. It will never happen again." Pastor Joseph declared, shaking his head in remorse. The door of the living room popped open and a tall handsome man walked in with a air of superiority. All of them turned to see who he was. Iyin came in behind and flung the door open, and on seeing his sister seated screamed. "Hey sisterly sister, I'm glad to see you. Welcome back home." Iyin clung to his sister for a long time. Indeed he has missed her. "Hey, see my bros, you are taller than me now. How time flies. Welcome back." Anu uttered. "Guess what my sis?" Iyin shouted excitedly. "I'm not going to guess, when you are here with the first hand testimony." Anu responded. "Oh oh, just guess please!" "No way Bro! Talk the talk "Please how may we help you?" Mrs Moji stood up to face the stranger. "I don't think that I have seen this face before." Mrs Moji continued. "Yes, you do not know me but your daughter here does." The stranger proclaimed. "I'm sorry I can't remember ever seeing this face before." "Remember that corper that came to serve in your school years back?" "Hey corper!….." Both Iyin and Anu screamed.
