You are welcome to the house. Do you remember me? The young boy you encouraged to love Mathematics. I hated the subject and felt I would study Arts. You scolded me like an adult and told me squarely that I would be a Mathematics genius. Can you recollect sir?" Iyin reminded him, with all enthusiasm. "Oh my, I recalled that now. Are you not Iyanu?" "You mean, Iyin?" "Yeah, Iyin how are you doing?" "Fine sir. I'm glad to inform you that you are a prophet. I am now very good in Mathematics. They call me, 'Maths Guru.' Teachers invite me to teach them the ones they cannot solve. I cannot explain it, but I have special insight into Mathematics sir. I'm grateful for speaking into my life. Words are powerful and teachers should learn how to encourage, the weak students. Words have a way of changing our mindset. Welcome sir." The man gave Iyin a warm embrace, shouting, "I'm proud of you, boy. The world is waiting for you. You are unstoppable!" Iyin uttered later with a loud yell, pushing his chest out in a salute to the man, "So shall it be." Everyone echoed, "Amen." The pastor and his wife stood up to go from the house, imploring Anu and her mother to continue with the Church. "It's okay we will see you on Sunday." Mrs Moji uttered as she escorted them to their car parked outside. "Thank you very much ma." They both Appreciated Mama Anu with a bow as a sign of respect to the elderly. "Hey Anu what has happened to you since that time? Have you found out the wicked culprit that slept with you?" "Unfortunately no, now I am married to Bayo, you know?" "What the hell are you talking about? How can you give yourself to the man who- who-forget it. You can not marry that beast." He growled, his eyes changed. You could see pains written all over him. "I don't understand you anymore. What did Bayo did?" Anu asked, desperate to find out, as she held him by his hands. He turned his eyes away and was moved to tears. "I'm sorry Anu, it was all my fault. I shouldn't have left you in the room alone with- with- I mean without making sure you are saved." He uttered, his voice shaken, laden with emotions. "Listen, you have to stop blaming yourself. It's over now." "No it's not over. The culprit must be sent behind the bars. I'm here to see to that. I was convicted by the spirit of God. Since the incidence happened, I have lost my peace. I tried pushing it away but my conscience will not let me be. I'm no longer myself again. That's why I came from Lagos to settle the score once and for all." Mama Anu declared, having heard all their conversations, "Please my son, tell me your name." "I'm Femi Badmus ma. Students used to call me Corper, Corper, so they never knew my name." Anu shuddered thinking of the strange man who grapped him one night and later locked up Bayo in the police cell. His surname is, Badmus too. Maybe it's mere coincidence. After all this things happen. She thought in her mind. "Okay Anu, and my Iyin, I will see you tomorrow again." Both Iyin and Anu saw him off. He held Iyin and they walked him off to his Jeep car. Definitely, he has done well for himself. Femi's P.O.V If only Anu knows the evil that has been done to her. I will deal with that bastard, that criminal. How could I have spared him? To think that I wanted this lady to be mine. That evil thief went and stole her priceless gift like that. He deserves to be prosecuted. I'm here to see to that. I will show the son of a bitch that my dad is a big man in this country. Femi was fuming as he left Anu's house, cursing under his breath until he reached Bayo's house. He almost pass the place. He got there and opened the door uninvited. Luckily he was in with Caroline and were wrapped up in each other's arms in another world. "Bayo!" Femi growled at him as they both disengaged so fast. "Ha! Corper Femi Badmus! It's quite a while! I'm glad to see you bro." He screamed out of excitement, holding his trousers and fixing it properly. "Hold it there! You wicked, good for nothing fool! I heard all the evil you've been doing to Anu, that innocent girl. And now you are not even faithful to her. And who is this daughter of Jezebel? Anyway you deserve each other. I have come to enlighten Anu about everything that has happened to her. You should be at her mercy not the other way around. Get ready to face the full wrath of the law!" Femi slammed him. "Please mind your business Corper. I'm not a Jezebel." Caroline protested. "Oh no! I never said you àre; you are just the daughter!" He smirked as he uttered it to the annoyance of Caroline. "Enough Femi! Who do you think you are? Barging into my apartment and ranting rubbish!" Bayo snarled. "Oh la la, ranting rubbish? Hmm, you will beg for help and I will not be seen. We shall see Buddy." He smacked him at the chest twice and chuckled.
