Doctor Sam gave Anu injections to calm her down. Though it wasn't easy getting her to take it. Nurses had to get hold of her, amidst struggling. Eventually, they succeeded with Righteous encouraging her. She slept off in the hospital bed. Meanwhile, Femi Badmus had regained full consciousness and was being treated. Though some of the bruises inflicted on him by the head on collision with an oncoming trailer was there. The swollen part of his body was coming down. "Where is Anu? Please, nurse I need to see Anu Ojo." He kept on demanding. "Oga, calm down. She is not feeling fine." "What is the problem with her?" Femi became restless, got up and was going to look for her." "Wait, Mr Femi, let me take you to your wife. Na wa oh, Me self I go marry." The nurse kidded. On reaching her ward, Femi stood there transfixed, he couldn't move an inch. He breathed in deeply, then out. He kept on doing that to calm himself down. This is a bad news no doubt. How could Anu be in this type of condition? Someone who came to check on her suddenly grew insane. What could have happened? It's a mystery! Those were the thoughts of Femi as he stood watching her. "Sir, I will advise you to return to bed, because you also need rest. I learnt that your elder brother is on his way coming to see you. He has been contacted through your phone. He will be here shortly." The matron spoke to Femi "Hmm, thank you very much, nurse. Please take good care of my Anu." He declared and he turned to leave, but his brother was coming in to see his acclaimed wife. "Welcome bro, how did you know I am here?" He asked looking surprised. "One of the nurses brought me here to see your wife. Hey kid brother, when did you get married and I never knew? Out of sheer curiousity, I followed her. So where is she?" Babajide Badmus said with a smirk. On looking at the lady sprawled on the bed, he tried to see her face, but it was difficult because she faced the wall. "Bros, let's go to my ward. How are you doing?" Femi asked feeling awkward. He knew that a fight will ensue, if he discovered that it was Anu on the bed. He followed Femi without uttering a single word, but kept on thinking. When did the playboy got matured enough to settle down? Will he get a wife before me, his elder brother? No, I don't think it's true. They got to his ward and they both sat down to talk. "Playboy! How come about the accident? You told me that you were off to see a friend in Ile-Ife, how come you were seen at Ibadan metropolis. You and ladies! When will you settle down?" "Bros, I'm following your path. I intend settling down soon but my woman is in school. She is an undergraduate student at University of Ibadan." "So who is the lady over there in the ward?" "She is the girl I am telling you about." "Oh! You both had an accident?" "Em- em, yes bros." "I'm very sorry, Femi." Babajide stood up to leave. "Let me see someone at the university too. I hope to be back to settle your bills and get a towing van to pick up the battered car." "Okay big bros. I will be expecting you. That means I have to be discharged today then." Babajide got to the campus and called her. It was Righteous that picked up the call. "Oh sir, she is in the hospital." "What!" Can you text me the address of the said hospital. Babajide discovered that it was Mount Carmel hospital at Bodija, the same place Femi is. Okay then that will make it easy for me. He thought in his heart. He returned to Mount Carmel hospital and asked for her from the reception. Shown the way by one of the nurses, he followed and got to the first place where he first met Femi, his brother. Righteous got up as soon as he came in. "Young lady how are you?" Babajide greeted calmly. "I'm fine sir." "I want to see a lady called, Anu Ojo?" He asked. Anu turned around from the wall and saw him. She was shocked to her bones. "Oh my God!" She exclaimed. "Ha ha, Aanu" He yelled. He bent over backwards and wondered what on earth was going on. He gazed at Anu who was uncomfortable at his presence and asked with a cold, deadly voice. Anu was already shaking like a leaf. She knew that she was in trouble. "Are you my brother's wife?" Babajide couldn't hide his feeling. Anu shook her head repeatedly. She later found her voice. "You know a little about me, don't you? I knew your brother as a Corper. He only came to visit me. " "Ha ha, and you expect me to believe you like that? No, you have a lot of questions to answer." He turned around to go . He was too enraged to continue to talk. "Please sir, don't be annoyed with me?" "Sir, please believe my Friend. Your brother is lying to you. My friend does not know that he is coming." Righteous pleaded. "Anu, I am disssappointed in you. Are you here to marry or to study?"
