"No, not at all. But your motive is very important. You don't train to wed, rather train for God. Let God have the final say." Righteous explained, with a smirk on her face.. "This is rubbish, even chickens are reared to be slaughtered. Nothing goes for nothing. There is a purpose for everything under the sun." Femi responded, with aggression. You needed to see his bruised face. "Hmm, Anu needs to go back to the hostel to rest. It has been a long day and moreover I need to take Femi back to Lagos, for further treatment." Babajide rose up quickly, and got up to go, holding his car keys in his hands. Righteous packaged their things, while Anu followed. Femi got up to go, having been discharged by the doctor on duty. Surprisingly, Babajide bid the two friends a good bye and went back with Femi to Lagos, without referring to the incidence. His behaviour was quite abnormal to Femi. I'm not ready to fight for a woman. Moreso, my kid brother is involved. Since my kid bros is involved, I am supposed to keep away from Anu, but I wouldn't because I love the lady since the first day I met her at the restaurant. I cannot let go because I think of her almost everyday. My heart desire has been to marry her, because she has everything I need in a woman. I'm only waiting for her to complete her course work for the first three years. I will have to marry her during her clinicals. Babajide mused in his heart. ……..…………………………………….. At the campus. "Hey, I've been meaning to ask you this question."Righteous demanded. "What question is that?" Anu asked innocently. "What happened inside the doctor's office?" She demanded, out of sheer curiousity. "Oh, do you know that the man wanted to force himself into me?" "Abomination! Thief! How dare he do that?" She yelled . Then she stood up in annoyance, pacing up and down. "While I was trying to run away, I then saw that the keys had been taken away. I had to think fast. So many thoughts were flying through my mind. First I thought of smashing his head with a flower vase, but I threw the idea away like a garbage disposal." Anu informed. "That is self defense." Righteous replied, nodding her head in approval. "Self defense that could kill the fool and send me to life imprisonment." Anu responded. "Ha ha now!" Righteous protested not seeing any good reason behind it. "Hey, haven't you heard of a woman who had always been abused, beaten, battered by her so called, husband. One day, the husband was assaulting her, he held her neck so tight, that she was about suffocating to death, infact gasping for life. Hmmm, in a bid to deliver herself, she saw a ceramic flower vase near her; with forceful strength, she stretched out her hand to grab it and landed it on his bald head." "Hmm, he collapsed, isn't it?" "Look at you! He did not just release his hold, he was heavily injured on his head.Though he was rushed to the hospital immediately, but unfortunately, he died few days after." "I don't think that it was that bang that killed him?" "Listen to yourself. That lady spent twenty years in the prison, before she got presidential pardon." "Oh my God! The judge was wicked to her." "You can say that again. Anyway, I changed my mind, and pretended like David in the bible that I had gone mad." "Ha ha, I guessed so." Righteous started to laugh. "This is quite hilarious. What wisdom! My intelligent lady. You are too much!" Righteous exclaimed, doubled up in laughter. "What do you want me to do? I couldn't bear another forceful entrance into me. Those years are still tormenting my life. Sometimes, I grow bitter about my life and would wish to end it all." "Suicidal thoughts take you over? OMG! I'm sorry my dear. You have overcome them all." "No wonder, I kept on thinking about your sudden, drastic changes. I'm glad to hear this. "You can imagine my great relief, when you came in and started to question the fool!" "But why would a medical doctor do this to his patient. Definitely, he has a marital problem! "What sort of problem? You mean that he cannot control his libido?" "There should be a concrete reason why he was carried away. Ha, the world is corrupt to the point that a sick person is not safe with doctors. Isn't that appalling?" "Hmm, quite irritating, but I think he learnt his lesson in a hard way. But I am curious to know his wife sha. What do you think?" "Exactly my thought, Anu. I'm serious in knowing the wife of Doctor Sam? I'm not leaving this case until I am satisfied." Righteous declared. "Are you a detective? You better get serious with your studies before they weed us out of the school as a medical student. This is no joke. It's hardwork. That's why I don't need a man please. I want to become a medical doctor. By the way, I have to call my Mom." Anu uttered.
