Chapter 40 EPISODE FORTY

"Hey, sleeping beauty! Wake, wake up! You fine sha. See beauty! Kai, I'm jealous oh! No wonder all the men and even lecturers turn as soon as they see you. It's like God was having a good day at the time you were created." Righteous joked.
Anu stretched on her bed, yawned aloud again and again. She needed the sleep badly. She woke up early in the morning to read her book, and do her assignments.
"If only you know the troubles that comes to someone considered beautiful. Everyone wants to taste. Do you know how many times I have turned down offers to go on a date with men.
Hmm, the temptation is much. Look at the doctor who is supposed to know better, but threw away caution to have me. Haba! Don't envy me, because I do not envy myself. It's a serious burden on me. "
"Okay, let's exchange for a day, and let me know what you are going through."
"No, not for a day. Let it be for years unending."
"Okay then. Let's go!"
"You must be made to go through forceful s*x."
"Hell no!" Righteous protested.
"Then you are not ready. You only want the attention and good favours. But you must be willing to endure the cross."
"Now to the continuation of the message. Who should I marry?" Righteous demanded.
"Let me get set now." Anu adjusted her dress to continue. She brought out her notepad, and opened the place.
Marry a person who appreciates you for who you are. The person sees your good qualities and focuses on them more than your weaknesses. Your good parts tickle him or her , and makes him blind towards the bad areas.
What you appreciate, increases in value. He or she sees your values and is overwhelmed by the not-too-good areas. He or she is not afraid to showcase you to the world. Every man or woman fades away in the face of your person."
"Wow, this is awesome! Lord I need a man like this." Righteous exclaimed in excitement.
"Marry someone who is not trying to change you but someone who encourages you to be the best of God. He or she believes in your greatness, although invisible to others, but he sees the treasure and strives to bring them out.
He may see the hidden talent and with his encouragement, he brings out the hidden thing in you. He makes you attain a greater height by sheer motivation. He believes in you, that you can and you will."
"Hmmm, this is a bomb! Go on please! I'm all ears. These are powerful bullets for prayers."
"Marry your best friend.
Someone you can share your thoughts with and he will not condemn you. Someone you are natural with. You can laugh and joke with them.
Someone who understands you, and your feelings."
"I should marry my friend spiritually, physically, emotionally, hmm, socially and even, em- can I say academically."
Anu started to laugh. You mean that you cannot marry your driver?"
"Ha, haba! No way! Okay I'm all ears."
"Marry a kind man or woman.
Marry someone who will shower you with love and kindness. Kindness overlooks offenses. It does not retaliate but forgives again and again. Marriage exposes weaknesses, and no one is perfect.
Bitterness destroys relationships and hinders the prosperity of the home. No one should engage in it."
"Hmm, this is getting interesting. I will love to attend your Church,if given opportunity. This is great." Righteous proclaimed, raising her hands up, as if praising God. She was indeed touched.
" These are my thoughts, my bestie:
Your imperfections should be worked upon by you. Do not take your partner for granted. Remove the spots and wrinkles before marriage."
"Wow! The lady preacher!" Righteous hailed Anu, lifting her hands up in victory.
Anu cleared her throat before continuing.
"If you want to know who to marry, then you need to know who you should not marry.
Never marry a difficult man or woman.
Who will marry them?
They will have no choice but change.
A difficult partner will make your life miserable.
Never marry a disrespectful partner. The home will make you depressed.
When you see these signs in your relationship, run from the person before it's too late.
Red flags
.If your partner enjoys dismissing your opinion, such a partner has no team spirit. That person will not allow you to be a helper. What are you complimenting when you cannot share your opinion?
.He/she loves to insult you.
Insulting your partner is a bad character trait. It is hurting and depressing.
.He /she calls you names
Names calling shows how mannerless the fellow is. It brings depression, it makes you feel rejected, and unworthy. Some develop low self-esteem.
.He /she puts you down.
It means that the person does not love or appreciate you. The fellow can not bring out the best in you. It is demeaning and can also cause a lack of confidence. You become unnecessarily scared.
.He/she does not like you to air your opinion.
If your opinion does not matter then you have no mission to perform in the relationship. It's a dead end already.
So these are the things I jotted down in my notepad. How do you feel now?"
Righteous stood up, bow down for her again and again. She later resorted into unending clapping.
"Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! Awesome baby girlfriend! I'm impressed. Hmm, I need to copy these and meditate on them. Who knows if Mr Right will come knocking at my door." She had not finished saying this when they both heard a knock on the door of their room.
"Who is at the door?" Anu yelled.
