- "I want to kill you, Jo Ann," Alan says, jumping out of bed and trying to grab the daughter of a good lady, but not. - "If I didn't do that, you wouldn't be watching with me," she said, arguing her point and dodging a pillow that flew towards her. - Ahh, but you're paying me - He finally gives up and falls back on the bed, whimpering like a tantruming child. - "Stop whining, you're not a child anymore," she says sarcastically, which makes him give her a crooked look. - You're paying me," I say at the top of my lungs. Begrudgingly, he quickly gets ready, puts on black Vans sneakers, dark blue jeans and a shirt that has some reference to a series that at the moment he doesn't pay attention to the name of. - Are you going to work or on a date? - The de-saphorized liar asks as soon as Alan walks through the pantry door. - To both of them, perhaps - With the answer he gave, he surprised her so much that Jo Ann the maritaca (that's how he called her) didn't know what to say or even how to respond, remaining silent, which wouldn't last for long, so she sat eating her breakfast in comfortable silence. As soon as they arrived at school at the usual time, Alan's day had been very busy, as he hadn't come the day before, which meant that the hours had flown by as they hadn't done for a long time. - "Bye, Jo," he said, leaving the teachers' room without waiting for a reply from his friend. Alan began to remember the day before, remembering what that son of a bitch had had the nerve to do to him, to their marriage, but he didn't regret a drop of what he had done, it was high time this martyrdom came to an end. - Why are you leaving so quickly, Al? - Jo Ann asked, putting her arm around his neck and giving him a fright - Don't tell me that what you told me earlier is true? - What did I tell you? - He asks, trying to remember what he said to that crazy woman. - That you have a date today - Jo says smilingly. - Of course not," I say, seeing her smile fade, "I was only joking. - Don't tell me you... - "Don't start, Jo Ann." He interrupted her, taking his arm from around my neck. He leaves her behind sulking, and I say goodbye to the doorman, walking home immersed in thought. When he notices the phone ringing in the back pocket of his jeans, he's startled to find himself in the world of the moon. He picks up his cell phone without seeing who it is. - Hello - he says as soon as he puts the phone to his ear. - Is that any way to answer your mother, Alan? - As soon as he hears the voice of the woman who claims to be my mother, but who really only put him into the world. - As far as I remember - he pauses to moisten his parched lips - I don't have a mother. - I am your mother. Respect me. - Clara retorts, but he doesn't take much notice. - It's not anymore," he says, already tired of the argument, "from the moment you threw me out and told me I wasn't your son anymore. - He was exalted by her courage. - If it was nothing, goodbye - I concluded by hanging up the call without waiting for an answer, because I knew that if I waited it would be too long and I was tired of working and everything that was happening in my life at that moment. I continued on my way home, trying not to think about anything else. I wanted to clear my head; the fatigue of a sleepless night was beginning to take its toll. Jo Ann thought he had forgotten what that bitch had done, but she had to wait for him, he had always been a person who waited for the right moment to act and it would be no different with her. Everyone on the street must have thought he was a madman or a maniac, given the diabolical look on his face. "The poor things must have shit themselves." He thought, laughing internally at himself. But he couldn't stand it and burst out laughing, but it wasn't just a simple laugh, it was a very loud one, now people would have to be afraid of him. As soon as he arrives at the square in front of the building where he lives, he stops for a few minutes to observe everyone who is there. He sees couples with their children having fun in the late afternoon, children playing catch, pike-count, tag and soccer, and he flashes a silly smile, reminding me of when he was their age and he was happy, not that he isn't now, but he didn't have so many worries, he didn't have to face the world. He continued to watch the movement, looking around the square, stopping when he saw a man sitting on one of the concrete benches where young people usually make out. I don't know why he caught his eye, but he couldn't take his eyes off him. He noticed that the man was handsome, his skin was light, a little dirty, his eyes Alan couldn't tell what color they were, his clothes were dirty, to tell the truth they were filthy, he looked as if he had slept in soot, his curly hair fell into his eyes, his beard was a little unkempt, but normal for someone who lived on the streets. He was wearing a black dress shirt, I couldn't identify which brand it was, but I could tell it was a designer shirt, which didn't fit in at all with the state he was in, causing me to have more doubts than I would have liked. "How come the shirt hasn't been stolen yet?" I thought as I looked down and saw that he was wearing dark blue jeans and All-Star sneakers, forcing myself not to cross the square and not to go up to the man who had caught my eye. She couldn't stop thinking of a trillion possibilities as to how that man hadn't been plucked, but the only one she could think of was that he probably wasn't a good looking guy. The thought of it sent shivers down his spine. He was so distracted that he didn't notice someone approaching him, so he was startled to feel something cold in the middle of his back. Just as he was about to scream, he heard the person behind him speak close to his ear. - If you attract anyone's attention, I'll kill you." He swallowed the scream that wanted to burst out of his lips, and now he was shaking like a green stick. - Where are you taking me? - He asked in a string of voices, but the bandit remained silent. - If it's money you want, I'll tell you right away that I don't have any - he said in a flash of courage. - Shut up, you wretch," he said, pressing the gun into my back. At that moment, Alan knew for sure that he wouldn't make it out of there alive. He didn't dare say another word, because if he did, the bastard would kill him without even thinking twice. His heart stopped beating, which made him pale, and drops of sweat ran down his forehead, which showed how apprehensive he was and how afraid he was of the situation he was in. He realized that, in the midst of his agony, he and the bandit who had taken him over had arrived in the middle of the square, which left Alan with a mixture of feelings that I couldn't identify. Only then did he remember that the man he had been so obsessed with was almost in the middle of the square. He breathed a sigh of relief, if nothing else, even if you don't believe it, he felt that feeling, no, the man who was kidnapping him still had the gun pointed at him in the middle of his back, if you ask me. He could feel a certain security even though he wasn't one hundred percent, he wanted to scream and wail, beg for help, but not one blessed soul even realizes that something is wrong with him. "God! Won't anyone realize that there's a fucking kidnapping going on in these hypocritical people's faces!" He thought in despair. The tears that he didn't want to fall started coming down uncontrollably, despair finally took hold of his being, he couldn't know where he was anymore, the shock of the possibility of not coming out of this alive made him desperate. Alan had a mere notion of where they were, if the tears let him see through them, that we were almost at the end of the square, which gave him a feeling of despair, really no one in that fucking square had noticed, along with this feeling came a feeling of helplessness on his part, if he hadn't been so distracted he would have realized that this disgusting being was approaching him. - Who sent you here? - He asked, even though he knew there would be no answer. - Shut the fuck up! If you say anything else, I'll kill you." The man whispered in his ear, causing Alan to shudder with fear. At that moment he knew for sure that he wouldn't get out alive.
