Blood squelches. body rips apart. Man sobbing crawling away barely breathing and ceasing to live. Swimming in his blood, glimpsing his lower flesh eaten by the faceless, long arm with blade-like nails, slender-ish man slurping and relishing it zestfully. Kept on crawling away and managed to hide. But way too obvious for him to lie low from a nonchalant demon. Stomped and growled, blood and flesh coming through squelching, bones crunching, eyeballs flew through the windowpane,  brains into grain-like flesh spread unto the ground.  The urge of brutality by the demon to annihilate a clan of gold-spoon and crowns. Left no crumbs but all flesh of the lifeless lying on the ground.
"Never been my night comes wonderful like this."
Said, licking the leftovers off his hands.
"Now,  what's next on the table?"
Whoosh!
A strong howling wind makes the big entrance open wide, welcoming a fellow with a white and grey robe with a dunce cap. Fiery gazed at a demon. Meanwhile, the demon stayed unbothered,  scraping the flesh off through his long sharp nails. He stopped. Stood up and walked towards the grey man,  gradually transforming from a beautiful human form;  porcelain skin,  red lips,  red sharp eyes,  and a devilish grin.
"So,  what a bloody welcome for my next appetizer!" He uttered,  licking his lip.
The grey man maintained his poise.
"This place is not yours! You have something to settle for, evil!"
Laughs.
A devilish laugh was heard throughout the chamber.
"Gormless!" the devil said.
"What?"
"You can't even read the room of what's happening, — this place was already mine!  Wizard!"
With the speed of a scratch,  the sorcerer was unable to dodge it and wounded his right arm. The devil kicked him out of the chamber with his enormous strength. The sorcerer splashes out, weakened because of the impact that the devil did.  Still, the sorcerer has the sight to see the devil from afar walking down the stairs reaching through him — devilishly smiling.
He tried to stand up with his knee broken down.
Shortly, with eyes wide open,  the devil was already an inch near him. The speed was impeccable to match.  He was struck by a well-rounded fist of the devil unto his stomach, making the wizard rise from above the sky. The devil flew above him for a follow-up and smashed through the ground. A loud bang and the ground shakes after the impact of the smash. The Sorcerer momentarily lost consciousness.  Seems unable to match the strength that the devil possesses.
The Devil was floating in the air.  Fire blazing throughout his body and horns slowly peeked on his forehead — grinning devilishly.
"As I have said, This is my place now and this is my people,  my slaves,  my meals, and a knucklehead like you was no match for me."
"Who said that?"
A guy from above uttered, the devil looked up from above and saw in his face disbelief. Glance from the ground hole and saw nobody but a log.
Swoosh!
Swish!
A strong howling wind blew him off. The devil was smashed into the concrete wall of the corridor.  The Wizard was holding his solid wood baton walking on thin air. He pointed the baton at the devil and another strong howling wind smashed him over on the further side of the corridor. Set foot on the ground. The Sorcerer walks towards the Devil and seems a bit fainted and is down on their knees. A look of ennui flashed on the devil's face. By the gaze of it, seems like the devil has something up on his sleeves. The Sorcerer raised his right arm and forcibly slapped the Devil, the head almost took off his body of that impact.
"You look pity! took the edge off these people because they are less powerful than you.  How flimsy are you!" uttered the wizard.
Hahaha.
The kneeling Devil chuckles and rapidly vanishes into thin air.
"Maybe you are,"
Numerous scratches are seen on the Wizard's rear making the robe torn.  Blood squelches off the back, it was this time much immense strength. The Wizard flew back to dodge the deathly claws of the demon, countering a light beam coming off his baton to the rapid draws of claws but then the dash of the devil managed to escape the beams, as they were battling through the atmosphere, clanking sounds of the baton and deathly claws,  the whooshing of wind, and a blazing fire in an enormous swiftness air battlefield were witnessed at the scene. It was raining blood, evenly matched between the sorcerer and the devil.
"You have nothing to prove, evil. Damage has been done, I'll let you go but never return."
The Sorcerer uttered as both abruptly stopped clashing back at each other gasping for some breath.
"Fool! This place is mine, the people were mine! You trespass on my place!  You'd be dead by now if ever my brother was here. But who's got lucky? You!"
Gradually,  his peeked horns were in absolute form, a long pointed tail was seen strangling on his neck, and the devil's wing came out widespread as it was. Blazing hot dense of smog circulates him with blazing dark gazes.
"Guess you're in absolute form of yours. Now it's my turn. "
He twisted around his baton making the natural energy around fuse into one ball of light, gradually spinning wheel turns into a rapidly gusting storm. A forcefield was pacing gradually emerging making the two of them inside.
"You never mess with the power I have, evil!"
"Let's see what you've got,  wizard!"
From a one-ball of light, the scene lit up with vast brightness that could turn the people around blind yet, the battleground was protected by a force field where the two were inside of it. However, another ray of light emerges — somehow dark energy manages to counter the light.  A balance of light and dark was seen countering the scene.  People nearby were frightened as they sprinted far away from the battlefield.
It was a while before it ended.  A forcefield was slowly fading away, a fog surrounded the battlefield making it barely to be seen. A glimpse of a shadowing figure was seen walking through nearby the witnesses of the battle.  Frightened, people slowly paced back away, some remained calm and down, and some were sobbing. Unaware,  the faces started to switch when they saw who won the battle.  The grey man,  the man with a long solid baton,  the savior,  the sorcerer,  the one who saved the realm of the people from the darkness.  All smiles, cheering, and yelling through joy.  People come nearby to hug him, thank him,  and worship him for saving the souls and the realm of powerlessness.
"You are all saved now.  The Darkness tasted his downfall.  This place will never be the same as this."
People were cheering out loud with joy. Then suddenly, the uttering of the devil's defeat makes the place go silenced.
"It's not just me, fools.  There are a lot of us lurking in the darkness,  and as time goes by this place will be ours and you people will be ours.  Hahaha!"
The Sorcerer glanced back at him.
"People will learn from this,  evil.  As time goes by,  they will learn how to fight for themselves,  how to protect their loved ones,  and how to defend their hometown,  their place, and their realm. If there's more like you out there,  tell them that I — "
The Devil was badly ruined and seen lying on the ground with fragile, chuckles.  The chuckling gets louder and louder making people terrified.
"Why would I?  When I could put a curse on this Kingdom and will be catnap underground while seeing this realm suffering."
"Tell that again?"
"Oh,  would I? — "
"Every dusk sets, every dawn arises,  the dark abide till an offspring emerges bearing a curse that will desolate this land for eternity.  Nothing will be left, but suffering."
After the devil uttered those words a strong cold gust of winds was felt around the realm, the sky turned dark, and crows and ravens flew out of the trees, cawing with a loud raspy sound.
The Sorcerer walked towards the lying devil on the ground and stepped on his porcelain and pale face with scratches.
"Now it's my turn."
The sorcerer took a deep breath. Closed his eyes and did some brief time introspection. As soon as he opened his sights.  The energy around them started engulfing each other spiraling into the wizard's hand like he was assembling some element.  Then,  the devil felt something and in disbelief, he was also engulfed. He screams out in his lungs but still has nowhere to go and nothing to do. The spiralling energy became a thumb-like,  shining blue stone;  and a devil inside of it.  The people were in awe after witnessing the devil being engulfed and imprisoned inside the stone. People cheered for the wizard and joyfully celebrated the independence of their realm from the darkness.
"This stone that I am holding right now,  will serve as my token of gratitude to all of you people for letting me in on your realm despite our indifference and the laws of Alvenrass. I am grateful for allowing me to save your realm from the darkness."
Sorcerer uttered.  People were clapping and cheering for him.
"This stone also serves as the prison of the devil who was inside of it. So, better safeguard this at your own risk and never let anyone who cannot be trusted that will loot and crack it."
The Sorcerer gazed at someone in the crowd.
"You.  I know you!"
He said and pointed the man through his baton.
"You are solely the lone mage here of this domain.  I will give you this stone;  you protect it or else... you wouldn't like what will happen next if you didn't do so."
He gave the stone to the old man and the lone wizard of the realm.
"But before I move. The curse has been put on this kingdom and we don't know, in an instant, an offspring will be born carrying a curse that will ruin this kingdom of yours."
People were chattering around and mumbling about the sorcerers who uttered the curse.
"With all of my powers left right now,  I will grant this realm a blessing,  a prophecy;  a thirteen offspring possessing my powers will be this kingdom's heroes and will protect anything that this realm belongs to. The one who will counter the curse put by the devil inside that stone."
Then a dim light coming through a dark sky emerged. A cool and warm gust of wind was felt and the sudden emergence of butterflies surrounded the area.
"You will be safe,  for now.  What the devil said might be true, there are more of them, so be careful and protect that stone,  Ki Bou."
The Sorcerer uttered and tapped the old man's shoulder before he flew away in thin air. He waved goodbye to the people around him with a smile on his face.  No one knows his name, not any of the people — even the old man named Ki Bou.  But people of the realm called him the Great Sorcerer.
"Now what, He lost a battle against a sorcerer. How pity! He just showed us why he doesn't belong to us. The ever-wicked seven demons of the Valiré."
"Stop it!"
"Why?"
"We're going to take him back!"
"You sure about that?"
"I'm going to save my brother from them."
