66: Compromise?

"Okay, I'm sorry", Yuta said with his head hanging low. "I just want to go home already", Jae-seong responded in a low voice before walking past Yuta. "Let me walk you home", Yuta offered as he walked beside Jae-seong. "Whatever brings you peace", Jae-seong responded coldly. "What's the matter Jae", Yuta asked tugging her arm. "I'm really not in the mood to talk right now", Jae-seong answered pulling her arm away. "What is wrong with you? You spent the night with Taeyong then suddenly you're avoiding me? Your boyfriend", Yuta asked angrily as he forcibly grabbed Jae-seong and faced her towards him.
"Seriously? Don't you even have the slightest of consideration for me? I am so emotionally, physically, and mentally drained and you act as if you are part of my responsibilities? Shouldn't you be the one to be helping me", Jae-seong asked which made Yuta speechless. “All you think about is yourself and how entitled you are now that our relationship has a label. How about me? Did you ever stop and actually thought about me? I am beyond tired yet I’m still pushing things through. I’m not even asking for anything for fucks sake”, Jae-seong now bursted. "I'm sorry I spent the night with another man. I'm sorry I made friends with my kidnappers. Is that what you want to hear from me? Suck on it until you grow tired of it. I have too much on my plate right now, I can’t be dealing with you too", Jae-seong continued before removing Yuta's grip on her and continued on walking. Yuta decided not to follow and bother her for the time being and just silently watched her as she walked home making sure she gets home safely.
Not long after her arrival, she receives a text message from Yuta. "I'm sorry. Call me when it's okay to talk already. I'll be waiting", the text read. She just sighed at the sight before tossing her phone unto her bed. "Am I still taking the right path for me", Jae-seong muttered asking herself. "Well I don't have another choice now, do I", Jae-seong continued to talk to herself until someone barged in her room. "You have all the choices boo. Now where is my gray hoodie", Mark asked the moment he walked in her room. "Get out", Jae-seong yelled with an annoyed face. "Well damn, who hurt you today", Mark asked before stepping out of the room.
She thought about things for days and when she thought she was ready, she finally rung Yuta up.
"Do you have the time today", Jae-seong asked. "It's you who I should ask that", Yuta responded chuckling. "I guess I have some time in the evening", Jae-seong answered. "Alright, I guess I'll see you then", Yuta said before hanging up. Jae-seong went on with her normal routine. As her schedule comes to an end, she was finally faced with Yuta again. "Dinner", he immediately asked as soon as he saw Jae-seong. "I just want coffee and bread", Jae-seong responded pointing at the nearby café. Yuta just nodded and lead the way towards the café.
As they got their orders, they immediately sat down and Jae-seong didn't think twice before taking a sip of her favorite iced coffee. "How have you been doing", Yuta asked breaking the silence. "Alright. Great. I don't know", Jae-seong answered chuckling bitterly. "Why did you ask to meet with me? We could have just talked on the phone. I know you have a very tight schedule", Yuta asked. "I want to fix things and talking on the phone doesn't seem right. I want to voice out my problems and you should too. And maybe we could compromise and make things work between us", Jae-seong answered with a smile.
"That sounds great but how sure are you on that", Yuta asked furrowing his eyebrows. "I thought about it a lot and I have already decided to give it one more try", Jae-seong answered still looking optimistic. Yuta just nodded in response and loosened up a bit as he leaned back on his seat. "Lately, I have been giving this a lot of thought too and I don't know if you will agree with what I am about to say", Yuta said as he was visibly nervous. "Well, what is it", Jae-seong asked. "I'm not quite sure how you will take this", Yuta continued to buy time. "How will you know if you won't say it", Jae-seong asked giggling. "Well I don't really like the idea of you living under the same roof as three other men", Yuta finally blurted out.
"But I'm living with my own brother", Jae-seong responded thinking he has to be joking. "And two other men who aren't related to you in some way", Yuta continued. "Well what do you suggest then", Jae-seong asked trying to remain calm and collected. "Move in with me", Yuta answered which caught her off guard making her speechless.
