"Where on earth you been", Jaehyun asked as Jae-seong entered his room. "Some place outside", Jae-seong answered sarcastically. "Okay no need to point out the obvious", Jaehyun said laughing. "Why are you here anyway? You rarely enter my room", Jaehyun now asked. "I just want to see you", Jae-seong answered. "You see me everyday ever since the day you were born. I know you're already tired of seeing me", Jaehyun responded making Jae-seong laugh. "Why are you really here", Jaehyun asked again. Jae-seong just sighed and looked down at her feet. "Come here", Jaehyun said with arms wide open. Jae-seong approached Jaehyun and got enveloped in his embrace.
"What can I do to help", Jaehyun asked. "You don't even know my problem yet", Jae-seong said almost inaudible with her face buried in Jaehyun's shirt. "So? You don't need to tell me if you don't want to. But I want to help you so I'm asking you right off the bat", Jaehyun responded as he started patting her head gently. "To be honest, I don't really know what you can do to help", Jae-seong said sighing. "Then I'll ask you what your problem is if you don't know how I could help... so, what's the matter", Jaehyun responded as if it's the continuation of what he said earlier acting as if he is being filmed. "Hey! Don't make me laugh! Damn it I'm sad", Jae-seong exclaimed as she tried to hold back her laughter. "Oh come on I wasn't even trying to make you laugh", Jaehyun teased making Jae-seong punch him playfully.
"But for real though, what's bothering you", Jaehyun asked yet again. "There's this story and I need to know your opinion about it", Jae-seong responded lifting her head off of his shirt. "Okay, tell me the story then", Jaehyun replied with a smile. "Well there's this pirate, I don't know if you know him but he is a very indecisive one. Whenever he needs to make a decision, he often ends up making a rash decision because of the pressure he sets upon himself", Jae-seong started off telling the story but Jaehyun knowing fully that she was the pirate. "Well he was sailing the ocean without an exact plan or any specific destination. He thought everything was alright as long as he sails through the calm waters. When an unexpected raging set of waves hit his ship, he didn't know what to do and just watched in fear as his ship got dragged along the brightest part of the ocean", Jae-seong continued.
"Well isn't that a good thing since the brightest part is usually a sign that there is a nearby island casting that light", Jaehyun asked. "Yeah but that was the problem. His ship got dragged to a luxurious island with everything he could wish for, all the finest things in life", Jae-seong answered making Jaehyun confused. "How is that even a problem", Jaehyun asked. "Because in order for him to stay there and live that luxurious life, he has to give up the life he was used to and the life he has already planned before", Jae-seong answered as Jaehyun repeatedly nodded his head. "And the fact that he is indecisive and tends to make rash decisions is the main reason why this is such a huge problem for him", Jaehyun said in continuation to what Jae-seong said. "Exactly", Jae-seong exclaimed with eyes widened.
"So, what do you think", Jae-seong now asked. "I'm not quite sure how the pirate is perceiving his situation but if I were to be in his position, I would most likely settle for that new life in the luxurious island", Jaehyun answered making Jae-seong furrow her eyebrows. "Why is that? Aren't you scared that there is some sort of catch or it isn't really the life you thought of when you first saw it", Jae-seong asked who was visibly frustrated. "Feeling scared will always be a part of making important decisions and what good my life be if I don't take risks especially to such opportunities that only comes once in a lifetime", Jaehyun answered. "But what if all of your fantasies and expectations gets shattered one by one as the life you thought you will have is slowly turning into the very opposite of it, what will you do then", Jae-seong asked still frustrated.
"Then I will have a plan B or maybe even up to Z. Life really does throw things at us at moments we least expect them", Jaehyun answered with a reassuring smile. "But it's always the pirate who will have the final say on this", Jaehyun continued. "I trust that you will make the right decision and won't end up regretting it later on", Jaehyun said which disappointed Jae-seong as she thought Jaehyun totally fell for the story without realizing it was her.
