Sarah turned to Regine and smiled. "It's nice to meet you, Regine," she said. "I'm Sarah, James's ex-girlfriend."

"I came to talk to you," Sarah said. "I want to get back together."

Sarah looked at Regine with hatred in her eyes. "You'll regret this, Regine," she said. "James is mine."
Then, Sarah turned and walked away.
Regine looked at James. "What was that all about?" she asked.
James sighed. "Sarah doesn't like to lose," he said. "She's probably just trying to intimidate you."
"But I thought you loved me," Regine said.
"I do love you," James said. "But I also loved Sarah once. It's not easy to just forget about her."
Regine nodded. "I understand," she said. "But I'm not going to let her come between us."
