Regine couldn't believe that she had just met James's ex-girlfriend, Sarah. She was even more shocked by the fact that Sarah had come back into James's life.

James helped Regine to her feet. He looked down at Sarah with anger in his eyes.
"Get out of here," he said. "And never come back."
Sarah stood up and glared at James and Regine. "You'll regret this," she said.
Then, Sarah turned and ran away.
James turned to Regine and hugged her tightly. "I love you," he said. "And I'll never let anything happen to you."
