"Jacob." Freya took a glance at her husband. "Oh? You're awake, wife. We're almost at Marcus' mansion. By the way, I bought you some medicine and vitamins, as well as fruits. It's in the back of the car. When you feel something bad, just let me know. Okay?" Jacob whistled when he saw the big gate of Marcus' house. "Regarding what I heard earlier when we were still at the hotel..." "Don't mind it, wife. Diana and I were just joking while talking on the cell phone," Jacob excused himself. "But you didn't sound like you were making jokes," Freya said. "It's half-meant, wife. You can be a multi-billionaire heir because I'm your husband. I am one of papa's heirs, right?" Jacob still doesn't want to tell the truth to his wife because it's not the right time. He has one more important mission and that is to force Rhea not to proceed with the pulling out of all their investments in LNGC. He didn't know why she changed her mind again and threatened them to make such a move. He thought their company was safe. "That's right," Freya said, nodding. They have entered the mansion and now they are looking for a parking space. "What is papa asking you to do? Can I help you? I'm sure, we are not here just for fun." Freya looked at the vast land of the Marcuses in wonder. Their house was huge and she became even more impressed with the Marcus family when she found out that they had a lot of properties. She no longer wonders why the Marcus family tops the list of the richest families not only in the Philippines but also in the whole of Asia. "Thank you for asking, wife. Actually, I'm ashamed to ask you for a favor," Jacob said with a smile. He finally found a space for parking. There are many guests at the party today and they are almost forty minutes late. "Tell me. What should I do?" Freya's eyes shined. She was once again fascinated by the charisma and handsomeness of his husband. "First, take your eyes off of me. I can't focus, wife. I might kiss you right away," Jacob said while laughing. "I'm…I'm not staring at you," Freya insisted while looking away. 'Shit! He caught me!' she thought. "Okay. This is what you should do…" ~~~~~ "Jackson, I'm glad that you made it. Yvette will be surprised when she sees you. You texted her that you couldn't make it, right?" Rhea's blood was boiling but she still forced herself to smile at the man in front of her. Yes, her daughter is alive but he still killed her beloved husband. 'Energy never lies. I can sense that she's enraged with me. I would like to say that her daughter is still alive, but her hatred for me will not go away because I still killed her husband. I hope...it's not all true. I hope someone else really killed Jacob's mom and Freya's father,' Jackson thought. "Jackson? Are you okay?" asked Rhea. "I'm sorry, tita. I'm just nervous. I'm still ashamed of you because I left you at the table, the first time Yvette introduced me to you." Jackson adjusted his necktie. "Ah, is that what you're worried about? Don't worry. Yvette already explained everything. It's fine. Please feel comfortable whenever I'm around. Won't you be my son-in-law in the future?" Rhea raised an eyebrow and smiled. 'I'd rather you marry Yvette than hanging around my own blood.' "W-What?" Jackson said in shock. "Your papa called me this morning. He said you will get married this week. I was surprised...just like you. You and Yvette dated not long ago, right? Do you really love my daughter?" Rhea stepped closer to Jackson and looked him in the eye. "I'm sorry. There's a misunderstanding here." Jackson loosened his necktie. 'So, I guessed correctly. He doesn't love Yvette. Everything is fake. Did they make an agreement because of Yvette's inheritance?' Rhea blinked. She waited for what Jackson would say next. "I'm sorry but marriage is not on my mind yet. Just like you said, Yvette and I have just started our relationship. I want to know more about her," Jackson explained. "Aren't you jealous of your younger brother? Jacob, right? I heard that he married an ordinary woman...I'm sorry. What I want to say is that he didn't marry a rich woman. Is that right? What is the name of the woman he married?" Rhea was playing dumb. "Freya Oligario. You're also an Oligario, aren't you? I thought you were related to my sister-in-law." Jackson observed Rhea's reaction. 'He really doesn't know anything. She's your daughter! She's your only heir!' his mind screamed. "Really? We share the same surname. Anyway, speaking of. Where are your brothers and your father? You're the only Gray I saw here." Rhea looked around and then turned her gaze back to Jackson. "Diana was here a while ago. As for papa, he can't make it because of his medical condition. Jacob and Freya are already on their way," Jackson replied. "Where is Yvette? I have been looking for her for a while now." "She's changing her dress. Champagne spilled on what she was wearing earlier," Rhea narrated. When he saw Ythan approaching in her direction, she immediately said goodbye to her interlocutor. "I will go to Yvette first. I'll leave you for now. Enjoy the party," she said. "Okay, Tita Rhea. Thank you." Jackson heaved a deep sigh when Rhea walked away. "How can I make it up to Rhea and Freya? Will they forgive the little Jackson if I apologize for what I did before? I didn't mean it," he whispered. He froze when he remembered Yael. 'Darn it! I have one more thing to apologize for. I will just stick to being a criminal. After all, Freya is no longer with me and I will never be able to taste and claim her,' he thought. Jackson was about to fall when someone grabbed his shoulder. His eyebrows met when he saw the father of his fake girlfriend. His blood immediately warmed when Ythan glared at him. He held his hand tightly and then removed it from his shoulder. "You can greet me without hurting me…tito," Jackson firmly said. "I'm going to tell you, Jackson. I don't want you for my daughter," Ythan said bluntly. Jackson smirked. "Your daughter?" Jackson took one step closer to Ythan. "Does any father molested his own child?" He whispered with a smile. He took a step back. "Don't worry, uncle. I don't want you to be my father-in-law either," he said before turning his back on Ythan. "Ràpist," he whispered. Ythan's jaw dropped at what he heard. 'Get ready for me, Yvette. Get ready!' He clenched his hands tightly as he looked at Jackson walking away.
