"Joana, what are you doing here?" Yvette asked, smiling.
"She's one of your mentors, Yvette. Why are you surprised to see her here? I invited her," Rhea said.
Yvette was speechless. She didn't do anything but look down on Joana.
"Hi everybody!"
Everyone turned around to see Ivana coming.
Jacob and Jackson sighed. They don't understand but they have the guts that something bad is about to happen. They knew Ivana as a troublemaker.
"I'm happy to see you here, Ivana and Joana. Where's your mom and dad?" Rhea approached Ivana and Joana and kissed. If not because of them, her blood pressure was going to rise because of the Gray brothers. Ivana and Joana helped her to prove that Freya was indeed her daughter. She also ordered Joana to scare Jackson.
"Tita Rhea, mom and dad want us to deliver that they can't come today. They have a client meeting and it is very crucial for our businesses. I hope you will understand," Ivana explained.
"No need to worry, dear. Anyway, did you eat already?" Rhea asked.
Jacob, Freya, Ythan, Yvette and Jackson just looked at Rhea, Ivana and Joana as they talked.
"We're still full, tita. Anyway, are you going to announce something important today? Oh! I almost forgot! Happy birthday, Yvette," Ivana said with a smile. She kissed Yvette on her cheeks. "Here's my simple gift. I hope you will like it."
"T-Thank you. You were the first to greet me on my birthday." Yvette plastered a fake smile.
Jackson looked at Yvette. He doesn't know that it is her birthday now. Fortunately, he had a ring ready in his pants' pocket. He doesn't love the girl but he doesn't understand himself why he wants to keep her away from her demon adoptive father, Ythan. That was his main reason why he wanted to marry Yvette. Her family's wealth is only a bonus when he marries the adopted daughter of Ythan Marcus. Yvette can be adopted but in the eyes of the law, she has more rights to the wealth of the Marcus family compared to Freya. Especially, Freya is not yet recognized as Rhea's daughter. He thought that Ythan was richer than Rhea. What he doesn't know, by the time Ythan loses Yvette, Ythan will deprive her of the right to the properties he has. Even before Ythan adopted Yvette, he had a deed in his hand and it was signed by his attorney and Yvette's mother. Yvette's mother knew nothing about what she signed. She just gave away her daughter to get some money.
Ythan laughed out loud. "Jackson, don't you know that today is my daughter's birthday?"
Yvette looked at Jackson. She texted him a night before the party. It seems that he did not read her message.
"I am aware, tito," Jackson responded without any emotion.
Yvette stared more and more at the man next to her. She frowned. 'So, he read my messages? Why didn't he even reply? Why hasn't he greeted me yet? He didn't even bring a present for me,' she thought.
"Leave Jackson alone, Ythan. Maybe, he prepared some surprise for our precious daughter. By the way Joana, you are going to say something important. What it is?" Rhea asked.
Jackson was almost deaf because of the loud heartbeats of his heart. It is not yet time for Rhea and Freya to know the truth.
"Joana, can I talk to you for a moment?" Jackson said, smiling.
Yvette secretly squeezed Jackson's side but he just looked at her evilly.
Joana took a glance at Jackson and Yvette, alternately. She's observing them. She was over the moon because she knew that the two were nervous at that time. She looked at Rhea. When Rhea nodded, she nodded too.
"What are you going to tell me, Jackson? Are you ready to apologize for what you did to me before? You humiliated me so many times. In fact, I can't count it on my fingers," said Joana.
Everyone was surprised. Even Ivana had no idea that Jackson had humiliated her sister.
"Sister, what do you mean? Did Jackson hurt you before?" Ivana was curious.
Everyone was surprised when Diana suddenly spoke. "Kuya, is it really your hobby to hurt girls?"
"Have you bullied her before?" Jacob asked.
Diana nodded. "I'm enjoying the scene! It's like watching a movie. Why do you all seem nervous except Fr…Ate Freya?" She was about to drink wine when Hulyo suddenly grabbed the glass she was holding. "Hey, give me back my wine!"
Hulyo shook his head and looked at Diana's stomach. 
Diana did nothing but torment her husband.
Everyone's attention went to Jackson when he spoke again. "Joana, whatever I did before…I didn't mean it–"
"YOU DID NOT MEAN IT?" Joana laughed,gently. Later, her face became serious again. "Are you joking?"
"I'm sorry! Is it okay if I talk to you? Just the two of us," Jackson said desperately.
Joana thought for a while. "Your sorry will not remove the scars and wounds on my body," Joana said tearfully.
Yvette and Ythan's eyes widened while Rhea secretly cheered.
"I can only forgive you if..." Everyone was waiting for what Joana would say next. "If you are going to marry me and not Yvette," she continued.
Everyone was flabbergasted by what Joana said. Rhea didn't know that either.
"What's going on, Joana? I thought you wanted some revenge–" Rhea was interrupted when Joana suddenly spoke.
"I'm taking his life as his payment and it is non-negotiable," Joana said.
"Sister, are you going crazy? That bàstard doesn't deserve you! He's not worthy!" Ivana exclaimed with so much confusion on her face.
Jackson laughed out loud. "I'm just asking for your little time and your condition is to marry you? Are you kidding me?"
Joana grinned. "Little time? You are wrong, Jackson. You are not just asking for my time, you are begging me to hide a piece of truth," she bravely said.
Freya frowned. She was confused about what was happening.
"Do you want me to spread your hidden stench on everyone here?" Joana threatened Jackson.
Rhea smiled. Now, she understood what Joana was doing. She's doing her a favor. Joana knew about Jackson's crimes because of her.
"Jack, what's happening?" Yvette said kindly.
Everyone looked at the big screen when suddenly someone spoke up ahead.
"Good afternoon everyone! Are you ready to get to know the self-made multi-billionaire, Rhea Marcus? Are you ready to know what she's up to today?" said by a man.
Murmurs echoed through the mansion. Everyone suddenly made some noise. They will finally get to know Mrs. Rhea Marcus. Everyone is also excited about what the man in front will reveal.
"Rhea, did you plan all of this? What do you want to do?" Ythan asked with a frown.
Rhea just smiled while looking at Jackson who was now shocked.
"Jack, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Yvette asked.
"Y-You?" Jackson exclaimed.
Yvette followed who Jackson was looking at. "Do you know him?"
"I … I need to get out of here," Jackson said, incoherently.
