"Are you still mad at me?" Ythan approached Rhea and grabbed her shoulder. Rhea silently removed Ythan's hands from her shoulders and looked away. Ythan bit his lip while growling in anger. His patience is running out. He has been wooing his wife for some time but she still won't say anything to him. Because he succeeded in preventing her plan to show the public what she used to look like before. "For the last time, please accept my apology or else..." Rhea raised an eyebrow. She still turned her back on his husband and did not move. "Okay. I had enough. Starting today, you are not allowed to step outside our home," Ythan said with finality in his voice. Rhea stood up at what she heard. Her eyes widened. "You're kidding, right?" "Finally! You spoke too!" Ythan exclaimed. Rhea crossed her arms on her chest. "Your joke earlier was not funny," she said. "Who says I'm kidding?" Ythan took something from his back. "Why do you have my phone?" Rhea asked irritably. "Rhea, let's stop this game. I know that you loathe me right now because I lied about your daughter…Freya." Ythan stopped for a while. "You became so careless. Did you think I didn't know?" He smiled. "SHAME ON YOU!" Rhea shouted. She approached Ythan and hit his chest. "YOU WILL PAY FOR ALL YOUR DEMONIC ACTS!" She was about to hit him again when he suddenly held her arms. "I love you, Rhea, but I won't let your growing horn grow any longer. Remember, you wouldn't be where you are now if it weren't for my influence and wealth. I own you, Rhea. I own you," he said. Ythan held Rhea's cheeks tightly. "From now on, you will not be able to leave this mansion." Rhea frowned. "I will do whatever I want to do with you. No man should hold and benefit from you and Yvette except me," Ythan said firmly. Rhea's eyes widened when her husband dropped her cell phone on the floor and stomped on it several times. "You have no conscience! Let me and my daughter go! YOU ARE DISGUSTING!" Rhea snorted. "Say what you want to say, my dear wife but...I still have the last laugh. You will never be out of my sight. Above all, you will never be with your own daughter again. Don't worry, I will take care of Freya." Ythan kissed both of Rhea's cheeks. "I'm sorry if I hurt you," he whispered, then he smiled. He could clearly see the burning anger in Rhea's eyes. "The moment I get out of here, I am going to kill you, myself!" Rhea said. Ythan laughed out loud. "I'm not scared at all!" He stopped laughing. "This is where you will grow old and this is where you will die," he whispered with a hearty laugh. 'You're wrong, Ythan. I can escape from here and when that happens, I will never hesitate to kill you,' Rhea thought. CHAPTER 39 "Tamahome, calm down! Don't take the law into your hands!" Ramon shouted as he approached Tamahome and Jackson. Both ends of Jackson's lips were bloody, but his smile was still wide, which fueled the fire burning in Tamahome's entire system. Tamahome was about to punch Jackson again when Ramon suddenly grabbed his hand. "I SAID STOP IT, TAMAHOME!" Ramon shouted loudly. Tamahome punched Jackson. "You should be thankful that my majesty came, otherwise you might be walking out of this room as a corpse!" Jackson laughed out loud. "Majesty? Ah! He is the king and you are the slave?" he said with a sarcastic tone. "Laugh all you want, Jackson. Tomorrow, I will make sure that you will cry blood!" Tamahome's eyes sparkled. Jackson wiped the blood from his lips and spat on the floor. He glared at Tamahome and Ramon. "You can't put me in prison. If I really did it, I was still a minor at that time. Our law protects children! Also, you don't have enough evidence to put me in prison. Rhea even threatened me, she only had circumstantial evidence! The arsonist has been in jail for a long time! You can't surpass the evidence that we have against him. There's also a witness who stood up in court to press him with charges. You. You are just wasting your time," Jackson said with a smile. "Or maybe you have no idea what circumstantial evidence is?" "Are you insulting my job?? What do you think? I'm stupid?" Tamahome said angrily. "That came out of your mouth not mine," said Jackson. Tamahome bit his lower lip and threw a punch at Jackson. He looked at Ramon when he squeezed his shoulder. "Your majesty," he whispered. "Step outside. Let me handle this jerk," Ramon ordered. "But your majesty, how about—" "I can handle him, myself. Go ahead, get out," Ramon ordered again. Tamahome took a deep breath. He did nothing but obey his boss’ orders. Ramon is the reason why he became a respectable detective. Money can't compare to his boss' goodness to his family. He looked back at the lying Jackson. He clenched his hands when he saw that he was still smiling. "You have a place in hell…demon!" he said loudly as he left the interrogation room. "And who are you?" said Jackson while standing on the floor. Ramon was silent as he watched Jackson. "Wait, your face looks familiar to me." Jackson pulled up his pants and walked closer to Ramon. He looked at his face carefully. "I'm sure, I had seen your face before." Ramon closed his eyes quickly when Jackson suddenly shouted. "That's right! I saw you at Yvette's birthday party!" Jackson heaved a deep sigh. "And I also saw you staring at Tita Rhea. Are you her stalker?" He turned his back on Ramon and walked towards the table. He sat on the top of it instead of the chair. He stared at Ramon's back again. He wondered where else he had seen him before. Ramon faced Jackson. "I will not waste so much time on you, Jackson. I just came here to tell you that I have charged you with kidnapping and frustrated murder," he said. Jackson raised an eyebrow. 'Did he mean, he filed a case against me for kidnapping Yael and for killing... Wait! Did he say FRUSTRATED MURDER?' he thought. Ramon was about to leave when Jackson suddenly ran up to him. Jackson held his shoulder. "If you're going to beg me to drop the charges I filed against you, don't do it because you're just wasting your saliva." Ramon removed Jackson's hands from his shoulders. "Who are you? Who are you really?" Jackson said. "I guess you already know why I filed a kidnapping and frustrated murder case against you. It's for your niece. It's for my brother's grandson," said Ramon. Jackson's eyes widened. "You are… You’re an Oligario? How… How did you know what I did to Yael?" "I thought you would deny it. Be grateful that our conversation was not recorded. There is no CCTV either." Ramon looked at the four corners of the room. "Rhea is too kind to you. Tomorrow, the public will know who you really are and what kind of shits you are doing, not only to Yael but also to my sister and your half-brother's mother." "Yael is dead. I think you made a mistake by filing a case against me," Jackson said with a laugh. "One of my men killed him. Sad to say, I didn't kill him. My man killed him. When I get out of here, I'm going to follow you!" Ramon laughed out loud. "You're so stupid! You wasted money! Freya and Jacob's son is still alive. It's up to you to figure out how he survived. Unfortunately, your stupid man inherited your foolishness!" Jackson's jaw almost dropped when he heard it. "Yael is alive?" He stifled a laugh. Later, he burst out laughing. "I will only believe you if you can show him to me." Ramon smiled. Jackson had more to say but he left the interrogation room. "Call the press. We are going to give the spotlight to everyone who helped John Vandolf Gray and his son in burying the truth about the arson case that killed my brother," Ramon said. "I have enough evidence to prove my claims. You will take care of everything tomorrow. I will go to see Rhea. I need to talk to her. I have many questions for her." "Are you going to admit to her that you know who she really is?" asked Tamahome. Ramon nodded. "I need to know if she is our friend or enemy," he said. "Alright, your majesty. I will go home early to prepare my speech tomorrow in front of the press. I also need to ask for the evidence from you and Rhea Marcus," said Tamahome. Ramon and Tamahome looked at Jackson's reflection from inside the interrogation room. "It looks like he's restless. I'm sure his mind is full of questions right now," Ramon said with a smile. "Go inside. You can continue the investigation that I have interrupted. You are smart, Tamahome. I know you can gather more information from him. I know you can get all the answers to the questions that are playing in your mind right now. It is time to take revenge.", He looked up. "I'm sorry, Ramil. Now I can give you the justice that you're longing for. Don't worry, I'll take care of your daughter Freya." "Your Majesty, someone is looking for you outside your house. The head security called me," reported by one of Ramon's staff. Ramon frowned. "Who is that?" "It's Ramil Oligario," replied Ramon's staff. Tamahome and Ramon looked at each other. Both their eyes widened. "R-Ramil O-Oligario? Are you sure? Do you know the name of my long-dead brother?" said Ramon. "That's what the head security at home said. Maybe, they have a similar name. There are many Oligario in the country," Ramon's staff said. Ramon immediately fumbled in his pocket for his cell phone. He will check the CCTV footage in his mansion. His hands were shaking as he pressed his cell phone. "Your Majesty, are you okay?" Tamahome asked worriedly. Ramon dropped his cell phone when he saw the face of the man waiting outside the gate of his mansion. "R-Ramil? H-how did it happen? How did he survive the fire?" he stammered.
