Chapter 46 & 47

Oceana Diner, 13799 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32224, United States
Jacob looked around before he cautiously entered the restaurant. He immediately stopped as soon as he came. His eyebrows met. "Too many people. Which one is he here?" he whispered.
Jacob started to scan every customer in each table. He's searching for someone. "Where the hell are you?"
Jacob was surprised when someone tapped him on the shoulder. He quickly looked at him. "I've been looking for you for a while. Where's our table?"
"We'll be sitting there at the end," Agosto replied. He immediately walked towards their table. Jacob followed him. One of his eyebrows rose when he saw the food on the table.
"Black Diamond Caviar Russian Osetra served with brioche toast, creme fraiche, red onion, chive and egg," Jacob said. "You're good at taking notes," he joked.
"I will never forget your favorite food here at Oceana," Agosto said with a smile.
"And you still enjoy Tuna Tartare," Jacob said.
 Agosto just smiled.
"How's my brother? You said you have some good news and bad news. Tell the good news first," Jacob uttered while eating his caviar.
"The case Mrs. Marcus filed against him is no longer valid. That was the good news. However, Ramon Oligario filed a kidnapping case and frustrated murder against Sir Jackson. I think that has something to do with what happened to Yael, " Agosto reported.
Jacob stopped eating. "So it means...I can't ask Mr. Ramon for help," he said.
"Ythan Marcus already made his move. According to my source, it's time for Sir Jackson to be transferred to prison. Ythan has already assigned someone to kill your brother. I'm just wondering..."
"What is it, Agosto?" Jacob put down the cutlery he was holding.
"I didn't even see Mrs. Marcus visit Sir Jackson. I only saw Ramon Oligario who went to the interrogation room then. I have one more piece of news," Agosto said.
"Go ahead. Tell me," Jacob ordered.
"Ma'am Freya's father is still alive," Agosto whispered.
"Ah, yes. I know that." Jacob took the goblet and drank the contents of the Bordeaux wine.
"How did you know?" Agosto was curious.
"Long story. Anyway, you need to fly back to the Philippines. I'll just follow you. Hire someone inside the jail to look after my brother. Pay him generously. Just inform me of his price and I will send the money to your account. After that, you need to know why Mrs. Marcus didn't show herself in front of my brother. I have a bad feeling but I hope...I'm thinking wrong. I will give you a call when I'm already at the airport. Oh! Before I forget, look for my private investigator. When you see him, ask if there's any progress on what I'm asking him to accomplish. I can't get a hold of him for a week now." Jacob sighed. "I have a lot to take care of in the Philippines, but I have to put dad first," he said. He leaned back in the chair and looked into something.
"Stop worrying. Everything will be fine, Sir Jacob," Agosto said.
"I hope so, Agosto. I hope so." Jacob poured Bordeaux wine into his glass and drank it directly.
"Yes, it is. Ma'am Diana is telling you not to worry about LNGC anymore. She will take care of the company," said Agosto.
"She's pregnant but she's stressing herself out for the sake of our company. I'll call her when I get home." Jacob looked at his wristwatch. "You have to go. You're still going to pack your things."
"Sir Jacob, be careful here. When is Ma'am Freya's flight?" Agosto asked.
"I have no idea. Suddenly, she acted differently and made some decisions. I won't stop her from what she wants to do. I'm just asking her to be safe...always." Jacob stood up from his seat. Agosto is also standing. "Don't commute. I'll take you to the hotel and the airport."
"Oh, sir! It's embarrassing," said Agosto.
"Will you go with me or I am going to hold your salary this cut off?" Jacob smiled.
"I told you, just take me," Agosto said while laughing.
While Agosto and Jacob were walking out of the restaurant together, Freya dropped the magazine she was holding. She smirked. "I think I can't trust him anymore," she said as she sipped her coffee from the other table.
CHAPTER 47
"My boss wants to meet your boss. Is he around?" Galvez, Ythan's personal bodyguard, asked the security head.
While Galvez was talking outside, Ythan was staring at his cell phone. He watched Rhea and Yvette on the CCTV footage. The two rooms are next to each other but they don't know that they are being watched by someone at the moment. Ythan's lips curved when he saw Yvette getting dressed.
"I really like her body." Ythan closed his eyes as he activated his imagination. A low growl escaped his mouth as he remembered the night he claimed the girl. His thoughts were interrupted when Galvez suddenly knocked on the window. He gritted his teeth while opening his car's window.
"Your Majesty, Mr. Oligario is said to be here but we have to wait half an hour before you can meet and talk to him," said Galvez.
Ythan's face darkened suddenly. It was the first time anyone had dared to make him wait. Everyone knows how short his patience is. He tilted his head and completely averted his gaze to his bodyguard. "Do you mean, I have to wait for him...HERE? INSIDE MY CAR?" he asked, irritably.
 Galvez nodded gently.
"They won't even let us in?" Ythan looked incredulous.
 Galvez nodded again.
Ythan bit his lower lip while clenching his fists. "Don't they know me? I AM YTHAN MARCUS! THE ONLY MULTI-BILLIONAIRE IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY!" he shouted.
The security head quickly and approached where Ythan's car was. He smiled at Ythan. "My boss is also a multi-billionaire," he said as he ran back to his seat.
Ythan growled in anger. He couldn't do anything other than sitting inside his car. He tried to calm himself down. "Let's go. Let's go back after thirty minutes," he said calmly.
Galvez frowned. He seems to be hesitating whether he will tell his boss what he wants to say.
"What are you waiting for? Go inside and drive the car!" Ythan's face turned red the moment he saw how stagnant Galvez was. "Didn't you understand what I said? I'll knock. What are you waiting for? Get in here and drive me! What? It's still not understandable? Maybe you're deaf!"
Galvez remained silent as he stood outside the vehicle. He secretly clenched his hands behind his back. During the long time he had served the Marcuses, only Rhea had treated him right.
Ythan angrily took money from his wallet and threw it at Galvez rudely. "It's yours! Buy all the cotton buds or hearing aids! YOU ARE SO DEAF!" he shouted. His blood was really boiling at that time because of the kind of treatment he received from Ramon.
Galvez shook his head. He bent down to pick up the money scattered on the road. Later, money rained again from the hands of his boss. He sighed.
"That's a lot, Galvez. If that's not enough, just say it," Ythan said calmly while looking at his cell phone. This time it was his wife who was in the bathroom. She's taking a bath. He smiled. "You are truly beautiful, Rhea. Your beauty and charisma never failed to amaze me," he whispered. He cursed when Galvez handed his money back.
"You are paying me enough, Your Highness. I don't need any more money. Thank you very much," Galvez said bowing. "By the way, we can't leave," he added.
"And why? Twenty-five minutes before we're allowed inside. What am I going to do here? Wait while counting numbers?" Ythan said furiously.
"If we leave now, we won't be given the opportunity to meet and talk with Mr. Oligario, ever again," Galvez responded.
"FÚCK THAT ASSHÓLE! HE THINKS TOO HIGH OF HIMSELF! HE'S NOT EVEN GOLD! AFTER ALL, I AM RICHER THAN HIM!" shouted Ythan.
The security head ran towards Ythan's direction again. "Please, don't yell here. That's one of the things my boss hates the most. He might order me to drive you away," he said.
Ythan was silent. He signaled Galvez to get in the car. He thought for a few seconds. "Turn the engine on," he said.
 "Po? I thought...," said Galvez.
Ythan gave Ramon's mansion a horrible look. "I will make sure that he will be the one who will beg to talk to me one day. When that happens, he will be the one I will embarrass. He will be the one chasing after me, and he will beg for my time." He shut the window and put on his shades. "Let's go. I already miss my wife and my daughter.”
Galvez could clearly see the scary smile of his boss from the rearview mirror. His attention shifted to his cell phone when he received a message.
 {"Tomorrow is the day. Prepare yourself."}
Galvez smiled and began to drive according to his master's wishes.

"WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS ABOUT WHAT YOU SAID, KUYA?" Ramil shouted when he found out that Rhea married the man he thought was his savior.
"Calm yourself. We have a problem to face," Ramon said.
"Kuya, does my wife no longer love me? Why was she able to marry that man? Was it because of his money? Why did she abandon our family? I have so many questions in my mind right now, kuya! How can I calm down in this kind of situation?” Ramil pulled out his hair. He couldn't hold back his tears. It spontaneously dripped from his eyes.
"That's what I thought too but...we're thinking wrong. Rhea thought, you and Freya were dead. Ythan Marcus played tricks on her. Like you, your wife thought Ythan was her savior. Ythan planted all the lies and flattery words just to manipulate and to get her. That animal has been playing with us all around!" Ramon clenched his hands. He walked towards the window. He watched as Ythan's car left.
"Then… that means… my wife is in danger," Ramil whispered.
Ramon faced Ramil. "Rhea has no idea that you are still alive but she already knew about Freya. Maybe, she just didn't get close to her because she didn't want to harm her. That day...when I met her at her house, her eyes... her eyes were mourning. I could see how sad she was. She couldn't even admit that she's Rhea Oligario in front of me. I was very mad at her then because I was thinking the same. I thought she abandoned you and her daughter for the sake of fame and money. I was wrong." Ramon took a deep breath. "I just received CCTV footage from my intel. Ythan locked Rhea and her adopted daughter, Yvette in the basement of his house."
Ramil stood up from his seat. "Did he hurt my wife?"
Ramon shook his head. "Ythan has no power to hurt your wife because he's obsessed with her. Same thing about his adoptive daughter," he answered.
"Assh0le! That Ythan is worse than a demon!" Ramil thought for a moment. "Wait, why did he save me from the fire? Wouldn't his life be easier and he could fully claim my wife if I was gone? Why did he treat me? He even spent a fortune just so I could walk again! "
"I can't answer that, Ramil. I only know one thing. I'm sure he's been looking for you at this time and he won't stop until he sees you. You're a threat for him…so am I ." Ramon looked at his cell phone again. He seems to be waiting for a message. He was surprised when suddenly his youngest brother ran towards him. Later, Ramil was kneeling in front of him.
"I'm begging you, kuya. Please, save my wife. I… I am willing to do anything you want as long as you save Rhea," Ramil said tearfully.
"Stand up there! You don't have to beg me. Even if you don't say it, I will help Rhea. I have to apologize to her...and to...Freya," said Ramon.
"Did you also think badly of my daughter, kuya?" asked Ramil.
Ramon nodded. "I thought...it was Jackson Gray who burned down your house but he’s not the culprit. I thought Freya married a Gray even though she knew the truth. I don't know if she wanted to seek revenge so she did it or if she really loved him. I'm talking about Jacob Anderson Gray." He supports Ramil to stand up.
"Jacob? My daughter married Jacob?" Ramil exclaimed.
"Why do you seem so happy to know?" asked Ramon.
"That kid earned my vote and permission, kuya! He was our neighbor at the time. That kid was very kind and hardworking. He also loved his mother so dearly. Wait, do you have any news about your first love, Josie? Did she also survive the fire?" said Ramil.
Josefina, Jacob's mother, has a big crush on Ramon but they had a big age gap. However, Ramon's love for Josefina doesn't depends on their ages and differences.
"She's gone. She didn't survive the fire," Ramon replied sadly.
One of the reasons why he is so angry with Jackson and John Vandolf's parents is because of what happened to his lover. That is also the reason why he is so desperate to put Jackson in jail. He only found out the truth because of his intel and that's the reason why he helped acquit Jackson from the case filed by Rhea. He was really angry about it so he filed a case against him again to keep him in the custody of the police.
"Too much happened today. I found out the real culprit of the arson. Ythan has your wife, Rhea as a captive and…"
"And what kuya? Do we still have a problem?" Ramil was curious.
"I'll tell you later. Get some rest for now. Tomorrow we'll have the police to pick up that crazy Ythan," said Ramon.
"Thank you very much, kuya. I really don't know what I would do without you. Thank you so much," said Ramil.
"Stay there! You're like a child!" Ramon said smiling. He ruffled Ramil's hair and hugged him. "Come on. I'll take you to your room."
The two brothers walked happily even though they were thinking about many problems. When Ramon delivered Ramil to his room, he called someone on his cell phone.
"How are you? You still can't find them?" Ramon asked with a frown.
