"Galvez, drive faster," Ythan ordered. "Yes, your majesty. I'm sorry," Galvez replied. "Why are you looking at your cell phone every now and then? Is there a problem?" Ythan looked at Galvez in the rearview mirror. "Nothing, your majesty. I'm just waiting for a message from my wife," Galvez lied. The truth is, he was waiting for Ramon's text. He decided to do the right thing. He can no longer stomach his boss's greediness and crimes. When he found out that Rhea's ex-husband's brother was alive, he immediately went to his company. He asked his secretary for Ramon's number and that's when their communication started. He was nervous about his betrayal of Ythan but his desire to help Rhea and Yvette prevailed. He also admitted to Ramon that his boss was the one who actually planned the fire, a few years ago. "Are you sure?" Ythan assured. "Yes," Galvez answered quickly. Ythan raised his eyebrows and looked at his cell phone. He is waiting for the call of one of his private investigators. When his cell phone rang, he immediately answered it. "I hope you have some good news," Ythan said. ["Your Majesty, we already know who the traitor is."] Ythan tapped his hands on his left legs. His eyebrows raised the moment he heard the name of the traitor. His eyes darted on the rearview mirror. "Do you already know who stole from your company?" Galvez asked. He glanced at his boss in the mirror. He smiled back when Ythan smiled at him. Ythan nodded. All this time, he made everyone believe that someone robbed some money from his company...but the truth is, he's searching for a traitor. "Galvez, I have changed my mind. Let's change our route," Ythan said. "I thought you missed Ma'am Rhea?" Galvez asked jokingly. "I'll see her later. Let's go to the secret hideout." Ythan sang a song while looking outside the window. "Okay," Galvez responded nervously. He was about to get his cell phone to turn on his location when Ythan suddenly stopped him. "Do it later. I need to go and be there within ten minutes. Hurry, step on the gas." Ythan smiled when he saw Galvez's face. His personal bodyguard's nervousness was obvious to him. "I'm going to teach that thief a lesson. What I hate most of all are people who turn their backs on me." Galvez swallowed his saliva one after another. He couldn't understand why his heart was beating so fast. Suddenly he was sweating cold. ~~~ Florida, USA Jacob kissed the sleeping Freya on the forehead. "Wife, I'm home. I'm glad that you postpone your flight tonight," he said. "Yael," Freya whispered as she closed her eyes. Jacob stroked Freya's hair. He kissed her forehead again. "I'm sorry, wife. I'm sorry if you have to go through this. Don't worry, when I see Yael...I will bring her to you right away. I'm sorry if the process is slow but for you...and for our son, I will do everything, even if I search the whole world." Freya's tears flowed when she heard Jacob's words. He wanted to be angry because he kept it a secret from him that Yael was still alive but because of what he heard, he just wanted to hug his husband. She could feel the pain, despair, and sadness in his voice. It was so deep that she could drown if she tried to dive into it. Jacob was about to lie down next to Freya when he noticed a bottle of wine and two glasses on the table. There is also a scented candle next to it. "Did she…" Jacob was cut off when he felt Freya's hands. She's hugging him from behind. "I'm sorry, Jacob. I'm sorry if I…if I doubted you," Freya said, sobbing. Jacob frowned. 'What's wrong? Did something happen?' he thought. He was surprised when Freya was already in front of him. "What… what are you doing?" he asked with wide eyes. Freya was currently taking off her silk robe. "You can have me tonight," Freya whispered. Jacob swallowed when Freya said that. He immediately felt something coming to life between his thighs. "ShiT!" "ShiT?" Freya repeated. "I mean..." Jacob looked at the air conditioner. The temperature inside the room was too cold but here he was, burning with heat. Freya was disappointed when Jacob suddenly bent down to pick up her silk robe from the floor. "Wear this. It's too cold here. I don't want you to get sick," said Jacob as he put on his wife’s silk robe back. Freya snatched the silk robe from Jacob. "Let me do it." Freya rolled her eyes while she was walking back to their bed. Jacob laughed. "We have plenty of time to do it, wife. For now, you need to sleep early. You have your flight tomorrow. I don't want you to miss the plane because of me. You don't want to be awake all night just because I'm doing something to your body. Once we start doing it, I will have no power against myself anymore. It's been ages since I owned you so…four to six hours will not be enough to satisfy my cravings." Freya didn't know what to say but she was very moved by what her husband said. She bit her lower lip. "Tell papa that he needs to be okay as soon as possible. I can't wait too long to…to taste you." Freya's face turned red because of the words that came out of her mouth. Her eyes widened when Jacob suddenly pulled her closer. Jacob gave a smack kiss to Freya. "That's your appetizer for tonight. Let's continue it once I arrive in the Philippines. I will surely miss you arou–" Freya held Jacob's cheeks and brushed her lips against his. It lasted for at least five minutes. "Your appetizer isn't enough so I… I gave myself a favor," she said before she went back to sleep. Jacob was left dumbfounded as he held his lips. He looked at his pants. "Shít! Looks like I'll be up tonight!" he said when he saw his pet very angry. Freya closed her eyes. She convinced herself to go to sleep even though she wanted to laugh at Jacob's situation. She opened her one eye when she felt that Jacob had already left. "Shít! I need to release this!" Jacob yelled as he ran to the bathroom. CHAPTER 49 One of Ythan's men whispered something to him. "Let them in," Ythan said. "They will follow, your majesty," replied Ythan's staff with a bow. Ythan was sitting on the floor while smoking a cigarette. The smile faded from his lips when Ramil came out of the door. "You?" Ythan whispered. He didn't expect Ramil's arrival because Ramon was the one he wanted to see. He crushed the cigarette he was holding in the ashtray before standing up. He looked behind Ramil. "You are not with anyone, are you?" He was surprised when he suddenly bowed. "Thank you very much for saving me, Mr. Marcus," said Ramil. Ythan raised his eyebrows. Ramil sat across from Ythan's seat earlier. He rolled his eyes around the room. 'That's right, I won't have any trouble finding you. My hands are itching to kill you,' thought Ythan. He sat on the couch. "I'm happy to see you like that. It was worth the money I wasted just to get you well," he said. "You don't know me. I don't know you either. Why did you save me from the fire before?" Ramil asked while looking at his fingernails. "Is it necessary to have a reason first before helping others?" Ythan said smiling. Ramil shook his head. "Excuse me for my question. If you have no reason or motive, then you are a fallen angel from above. You are a good person," he said. Ythan smiled. "It's not the first time I've heard those words, but it makes my heart flutter every time someone says how kind I am!" he exclaimed. "There's one more thing I want to know, can I ask?" said Ramil. "Sure. Go ahead." Ythan took his cell phone and quickly texted his head security. "When you saved me from the fire, did you also save my wife and daughter?" Ramil watched Ythan's reaction carefully. "You…You have a family? Do you live with someone in that house?" Ythan asked as if he’s clueless about it. "Just ignore my last question. I won't be long. I have to go." Ramil stood up. As he expected, Ythan stopped him. "Don't leave yet. I'm just going to get food from the kitchen. My helpers aren't here now, I gave them the day off so I'll be the one to serve you food," Ythan said with a smile. Ramil took Ythan's trick so he returned to sitting. Ythan hurriedly walked to the kitchen to call his staff but none of them answered his call. "Mga hinayúpak! What's bothering these idi0ts and none of them answers my call! Fúck!" Ythan said annoyed. From the kitchen he simply went to the basement. He quickly grabbed a gun. He hid it behind his back and then he returned to where Ramil was. "I’m embarrassed. You're wasting your time preparing me some food. I should be the one bringing you food. Let me reciprocate your kindness. When I find a job, I'll pay back the money you spent on treating me. Never mind to me if it takes many years before I can pay you," said Ramil. "There's no need. I don't need money, Ramil. I already have plenty of that. What I need is..." "Alright, tell me. I'll find a way to give you what you want," said Ramil. "What I need in exchange is your life!" Ythan took out the gun from his back and pointed it at Ramil. "Finally, you can walk and breathe. I can now end your life. I've been waiting for this opportunity for a long time, Ramil. Up to this day, I still don't understand why Rhea chose you. You're worse than a mouse as compared to me, I can afford to give her a good life...a life that a beautiful woman like her deserves. You asked earlier what was my reason for saving you? This. This is my reason, Ramil! I want to take your own life while you are standing there with your feet. You will die without seeing your beloved Rhea, your daughter and your…lost grandson!" Ythan's litany before he finally clicks the gun. "I'm sorry, Jacob. Goodnight," Freya said while giggling.
