I wake up with a headache because I have drunk and wasted last night. I wake up because of the alarm in my phone. Not only that, but I feel so sleepy, but I need to wake up early. I yawn because I'm still sleepy, and I want to go back in sleep. I hold my blanket tight and close my eyes again but after a minute I look at in my ceiling and take a deep breath and decided to stand up and go to the bathroom and take a bath.  I wasn't managed to sleep peacefully because something is burdening me. I close my eyes before I open it. I've tried to clear my mind and only good vibes will remain. I feel so confused and doubt myself I can run the business.
After I get dress and grab my bag with me. With the key and my phone inside it. On my way to the office, I decided to grab a meal in the MacDonald before I went to the company to work. Meanwhile, I was busy eating and enjoying my breakfast when my phone suddenly ring and the caller ID pop up in the screen. It was my father who is calling, I swallow my food and hurriedly drink water as I answered the call and said.
“ Dad. What's the matter? “ I asked.
“ I'm in the office right now. Where were you? “ He asked.
I cleared my throat and replied.
“ I'm at MacDonald, just finished eating my breakfast dad. I'm on my way wait for my okay? " I said and end up the call.
I walk towards the car and start the engine as I drive my way to the company as my father is waiting for me.
I was wearing an all black suit attire matching my black heels with my red lipstick on. On the time I enter the company all the employees separated as they made a way for me to enter the building first. I smiled and walk towards the elevator as I press the floor number on where my office located.
The office door was slang open, I entered and saw my father who is sitting in the couch near the table in my office. He smiled at me as I walked towards him. He hug me tight and kiss my cheeks, I smiled as a response and said.
“ What's the matter, spill it out father. “ I told him as I sit beside him and gaze at his face.
I saw how the calmness turned into a serious face as it was like a switch easily swift it emotions.
“ I heard that one of my business partner pull out their investment in company? And because of that, you take a leave? “ He asked.
“ Yes I do. Because it's stressing me out that. It's out of my control! You know that I'm not ready to take over the company but there I am, the new CEO already! “ I retorted as I saw his face frown.
“ Don't you dare to raise your voice on me lady, I'm your father. Where's your manners! “ He uttered as his voice raise little.
“ I- I'm sorry dad, I'm just. Don't know what to do as the new CEO. Like where to start and how to make the company grow more. “ I said with my love voice as I looked down on my feet and take deep breath.
“ Please take it over dad. I'm out of it. “ I said as I beg on my father.
He didn't response or even react on my statement instead he walked and turn his back on me as he looked on the window and having deep thoughts.
I wait for his reply and I heated he sighed internally as he pulled me towards him and hug me tight.
“ Baby I know you can do it. You can rule just like I do. I believe in you. “ He whispered into my ears.
Before he could release the hug I said the words that I want to ask him from the start.
“ Dad, can you come home? “ I whispered at the air as the silence filled the room.
“ Not baby, but I will come home, and I'll be with you and your mother so soon. “ He replied and kiss my forehead before he let me go.
He walked towards the corner where the coat was hanging and grab it from the hanger. He waved his hands as a goodbye and walked away without a word.
I hold my bag tightly and stand up from sitting. I walk towards the door to looked at my father once again, and I saw him enter the elevator and before the door closed I saw him smiled at me in last minute.
I hurriedly stormed in my office as I close the door. I play music to lift my mood right now.
I recipe a text from my father after the left the company it stated that.
I can't be with your mother for now. You know the situation and hard for me this way of set up. We can't risk the company and our each other's safely just to be a complete family El. I know you understand it, but soon we will.
I stop from my track as I read the message. All I can do is to wait for that right time to experience a happy family as I wished to have since I was a child. I press the reply button and type my reply on it.

And sent it without hesitation.
I turn off my phone and face the papers in my table. I grab the last papers that I read yesterday and finish to read to today, so I can do a report about it as a training ground in handling the company. Its struggles me but I'll keep on going, I want to make my dad proud of me no matter what.
I always dream to be having a complete family since then. Because I never experienced it. I was also confused why my pretend father always going out and then being nowhere to be found as my mom and I didn't know where he is going. Yes ik pretend father still treat me as his child, but I can feel it, I also have a guts that he is not my father at all. I never feel so safe when he's around me or if he is in our house for a day only.
I never thought that I grow up by feeding me their lies as they manage to hide the truth from me thankfully my father told me everything and clarify my mind with the answers. All this time my father is with me every time I go in the bar, at a party or even in the mall just because I need an accompany in holding my paper bags with the things I bought.
I heard a knock ok the door. After it, the door open and Venice come in with a paper bag on her hands. She bow as she saw me looking at her, she put the paper bag in the table and said.
“ Miss El, it's from Mr. Sam
He asked me to give this to you, and remind you to eat your lunch later on. “ She said and she smiled at me.
I nodded my head in response and as I close my laptop and stand up from sitting in the office chair and stretch my hands and body after. I feel so tired even if I'm just sitting and reading some papers. It's boring too.
I grab my wallet and handed Venice money.
“ Buy some drinks, also grab your lunch with you and eat with me. " I uttered and saw her face look surprised and then smiled at me before she walked away and go to the nearest restaurant to buy a drink and her lunch too.
I wait for Venice to come, as I waited I decided to read the papers continue to understand well the process and history of the company and the problems and issues that the company is facing recently. I get thirsty and decided to go to the cafeteria in the building to grab a bottle of water. I walk out in the office follow the path that will lead me to the cafeteria. On my way there I saw the guard of the building running towards my direction. When the time I saw him running I stop from walking. He handed me a letter with a bouquet of roses again. Today is the third time I received such as rose and a letter too. I fake smiled and accept those. I walk back towards the cafeteria and get a bottle of water after.
Grabbing a bottle of water with my hand and the other hand is the rose and the letter. I walked towards the elevator and entered as I press the number of my office floor located. While waiting for the elevator to reach my office floor my phone suddenly vibrate and a message appear on the screen saying,
Let's have dinner later on, bring your mother with you. I'll be waiting at the same restaurant and time. Eat your lunch El, don't skip.
It was from my father, who sent me the message. I can't help to smiled because of what I've read. I was about to reply when I heard the elevator sound a signed that I'm in the office floor already. I went out and entered my office.
I'm already in the front door of our house, hesitating if I will press the doorbell button or wait for the door to open. I don't know what to say to my mother after what happened. It's been a month since I move out, kind of run away and decided to live on my own without telling her where I am or where I was living. My heart pounding so fast and my breath become shorter. My hands are shaking with anxiety and worry, thinking of what will happen after tonight and also will my mom not be mad at me after what happened. She probably understands me, right? Why I left home and hide for a main time.
I looked at the door once again and think of it. Should I open and enter or go to the restaurant alone with my father? I exhale and hold the doorknob and enter the house. As I entered, the whole house is in the mess. From bottles, rappers of foods and the house is dark with no sign of electricity used. I turn on the light and saw my mom sitting at the corner holding her two knees, and she silently cried. I run towards her and hug her tight.
“ Mom, it's El. I'm here now. I'm sorry if I left you alone. “ My voice break as I saw my mom in mire sable state.
My mom lifted her head, the moment she saw me she kissed my cheeks and hug me tight and said.
“ Please don't leave me alone, El, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, come back home, El. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. “ She said as she keeps on crying on my shoulder and thereafter, she become silent.
I looked at her and saw my mom sleeping. Base on her appearance right now. She didn't sleep for days and even eat for a meal because she loses weight, and she had a big eye bags underneath her eyes.
I called Ash Ron's number asking for a help.
After a couple of rings, he answered the call and said.
“ Hey, it's too late? Why did you call El? “ He asked from the other line.
“ I need your help, come over, please. “ I said and end the call.
I waited for Ash Ron to come and after an hour of waiting he already showed up wearing pajama pants with a white t-shirt on.
He walks towards me and said.
“ Where have you been, El? “ He asked.
Instead of answering his question, I ignore it and said.
“ Can you bring my mom to her room, please? “ I asked.
He exhales and lift my mother's body just like a one pack of rice. He carefully walked towards my mother's room and put her in the bed. When Ash Ron exited my mother's room, he was about to say something but I interputted him and said.
“ I'll tell you some other time, I want to sleep already,, and thanks for coming over. “ I said with a low voice and fake a smile at him and entered my room. He didn't say anything and left the house after.
When I enter the room, I closed the door and lean on it. I closed my eyes and left my tear fall. I can't help to blame myself again why my mom end up like this. I shouldn't leave the house and hide away from her, knowing that she is broken like me after my father (pretend father) died.
I dailed my father's number, lucky he picked it up and said.
“ El? Why did you call? Where are you now? “ He asked me worriedly.
“ We can't go to meet you, dad. Mom is still not okay. Mom is not a good state after I left home. “ I said and whispered the last line.
I heard he is exhausted right now.
“ I'm sorry, I'll make in up on your dad. I'll go to sleep now, I'm tired.” I said before, I said my goodnight and sleep after.
How I wish everything will be back to normal, so I can be happy and enjoy my life having my loved one as a complete family.
