I can't believe that going with a man I still don't know about even a single word or what kind of man he is. This man is intelligent enough to ask my mother's permission to date me even it's not necessary. My mother even approved and agreed to Ash Ron plan to go with him and eat dinner, well I want to avoid being scudded by my mother that leave me no choice but to go with this annoying guy I meet. Hays
I want to move on and forgot the past. I want to avoid remembering my past relationship and I really desperate to forget about Lucas and our relationship back then.
I wear my silk orange dress that brought in Lily's Fashion Shop with a pair of heels that match the dress color . I look at the time, and it's still 6 : 55 PM, 5 minutes before the call time. I dialed Mr. Sam's number, who live in the same village where we live. Mr. Sam is actually my father's butler and personal assistant in our company. But when my father offer him an opportunity to increase his salary, but he ended up declining the offer to serve my father's second family (the mistress ) because Mr. Sam choose us even if it will lead to misunderstanding and distance himself to my father who is her beloved friend. He's my mother's boy best friend after all. I know his treasured my mother to than the friendship he had with my dad.
I gaze on my phone once again while waiting for Mr. Sam to pick up the call. A moment later on, he immediately answered it and said.
“ I'm on your way to pick you up, El. “ He stated.
“ I'm all done, okay, Mr. Sam.
  I'll wait for you here. “ I said as I end up the phone call.
I'm in the doorway of our house standing and patiently waiting for Mr. Sam to come when I saw an Amelia walking towards me. I smiled and wave at her. She is wearing a dress and her mother is following her from behind. She suddenly run towards me.
“ Hi Mel, GoodEvening Ms. Alyssa" I said.
“ Good Evening Ate El, where are you going po. “ Amelia asked.
“ I'm having dinner with someone. “ I replied.
“ Who? “ Amelia curiosity asked me.
I wasn't able to finish my sentence as a man wearing a white polo ang blank pants with a pair of rubber shoes walk in and interputed my reply.
“ It's A ---------. “
“ Hey! “ He interrupted.
“ Let's go, shall we? “ He said.
“ Where's Mr. Sam? “ I asked.
“ He's not coming over. He is taking care of his son in the hospital. “ He replied.
“ But Mr. Sam said he ----" 
I wasn't able it when he instantly answer me and said.
“ After you called him a while ago. He called me and ask if I can pick you up because he can't do it, and he need to be with his son at the moment. “ The responds.
“ Let's go? “ He added and he offered me his hand.
“ Okay. “ I replied as accepted it his hand.
“ No need to be gentleman, I know you're not. “ I added.
“ I'm not? Then I let you feel how gentleman I was. “
He smirked at me and open the door of his car as I walk in and sat on the shotgun sit.

I'm here at Restaurant Hubert with Ash, Ron. A man who asked me to date him just to pay my gratitude for him bring me home safely. 
“ El, Can I ask. “ Ash Ron said.
“ What is it? “ I replied.
“ I saw you crying and drinking alone at the bar. “ He asked.
“ I broken. “ I simply say.
“ Oh. “ He reacted as he clear his throat.
“ That explain when you're drinking alone, and you look so miserable. “ He added.
“ My ex-boyfriend cheated on me. Remember the guy who came to our house and ask me who are you. That's the stupid jerk. “ 
I respond as I open the menu book of the restaurant. After scanning the menu I decided to order. I raised my hand and a waiter come towards our table.
“ I would like to order Chicken Fricassèe,
Fruit en Surprise, And Salade de Maman and Tartare De Thon, please. “ I said.
The waiter look at Ash Ron and said
“ How about you Sir? “ He asked.
“ Chicken Fricassèe and Tartare De Thon only. “ Ash Ron answered.
“ Okay Sir, I'll be back after 10 minutes with your order. Enjoy your date! “ 
The waiter said before he goes to the kitchen area and do his job.
After 10 minutes the waiter bring the orders to our table. A moment of silence after it, when suddenly Ash Ron spoke.
“ What's wrong? You're so quiet. “ He asked.
“ Nothing, let's eat. “
I replied and dig the food that I order.
I noticed as I eat my food and manage our on business busy eating. Ash Ron was staring at me then back to the food he ate. It's like he's bothered of something.
After I finished eating my dinner and also Ash Ron is done eating too. I put the table napkin after wiping my mouth on it. I grab my wallet and phone and stand up.
“ Thank you for the dinner. I have to go. “ I said and walk away to the restaurant, but before I could be able to go out in the entrance door someone grab my hard make me turn around and face him.
“ Trying to run away? I'm still not done on you my lady. “ He said as he smiled and drag me with him making me curious of what's happening.
I didn't insist instead I look around where he is taking me. We went to a shop a walking distance on where Ahs Ron park his car.  When we enter the shop, a girl sales lady welcome us and said.
“ Follow me Sir. “ She said and looked at me and smile.
“ You're so beautiful, My Lady. Come with me. “ She complimented and signal me to go with her.
I raise my eyebrows and look back on Ash Ron who is sitting in the couch once we enter the shop. I'm more confused now. Why this guy dragging me here.
I follow the sales lady as we walk through the room. I don't know where we are heading, but it appears that Ash Ron buy something in this store. The sales lady stare at me and said.
“ You're his girlfriend right? “ The Sales lady who wearing a white off shoulder top and black skirt ask me.
I fake a smile and said
“ No, I'm not. “ Without thinking I respond.
“ Maybe you're his future wife. Let's go I'll get you a dress. “ She smiled and lead me the way to a room.
As we entered the room full of gowns, dresses hanging at the corner some of them are still in a box. It's neat and clean and we'll organize. She pointed the couch as she walked towards the dresses at the corner. She's busy looking for a dress. While me, I'm just sitting in the couch watching her doing her job.
I looked around the place. My phone suddenly vibrate as a message pop up on my screen I type my phone password to unlock it and check the message after.
From : Ash Ron
Pick a dress for tonight's party. I want you to be my partner my friend expecting me to have a date. I'll explain later on.
My phone vibrates one again as another message I received.
From : Ash Ron
Did you already pick a dress El? Wear it and let me see .
I replied immediately
" Nope , the dress is a surprise . You still have to explain first. " I type and sent it .
I look at the lace black dress in her right hand  that the sales lady is holding  a red dress in her left hand. Letting me pick between the two.
" Miss , here's the dress that will suit you perfectly. Pick one which do you prefer. " She asked.
" Both ,  I'll pay the red dress . And the black one will payed by the guy who brought me here. " I said and give her my credit card and same.
" Okay Miss , let's go to the cashier area . " She replied and go out first in the room.
I followed her in silence walk towards where  Ash Ron is. He is sitting in the couch . Holding his phone talking to a caller.
The sales lady handed me the two paper bags and my credit card. I open my wallet and put my credit card there. Before I can manage to zip my wallet I saw a picture. It was me and my mom with dad. I was 3 years old back then when this picture was  taken. I was eating a cake sitting on my father's nap while my mom is standing behind my father , wearing a birthday hat on her head. I still remember it was the first year we celebrate my birthday here in Australia.
I took a deep breath and zip my wallet . Walk towards Ash Ron and said.
" Let's go home . " I said as I drag him to his car so I can sleep already.
" El , my friend is having a party tomorrow night . He ask me to bring date , a while ago he called me and I already informed him that I'm bringing you with me as my date. " He said as he is busying driving the car without gazing at me .
After an hour of driving from the city .

“ Your Welcome El, goodnight. Thank you for your time. “
He responded as he drove the car to the street where he's house is located.
I can't help to smiled , before I knew I saw my mother walking towards me and kiss my cheeks and hug her.
" Did I wait you, Mom? " I said.
" I want to assure that man will take you home safe. Of course I'm waiting for my baby. “ She replied and kiss my cheeks once again.
“ Mom, I'm not a baby anymore. Stop calling me baby. “ I shouted and run towards my room.
I heard my mom walking inside the laughing as he locked the door and walk towards her room.
As I entered my room. I throw myself at the bed as I fall asleep.
