I was chilling in the sofa of our house when my mom walk towards me and said.
“ You should give Ash Ron a thank-you gift. “ My mom stated.
“ Why would I? If I already repay his kindness. “ I respond.
“ You mean by dating him? What kind of offer is that? I can even sense it's not sincere as you agree. “ My mom replied.
“ What do you want me to do, mom? “
I replied and grab my the plate and walk towards the kitchen.
She followed me as she open the ref ang get the two battle water. She looked at me and smiled.
“ Cook a meal for Ash, then bring it to his house later on. “ She replied.
“ Mom, why do I need to do that! “
I responded.
“ Because I want you, and I order you to do so. “ She replied to stare at me before she went upstairs to her room.
“ Okay fine, just help me prepare here mom, and also what should I cook? “ I shouted, so she could hear me from inside the room.
“ I'll take a shower, mom before I'll start to cook later on. I really hate you, mom! “ I said as I was standing in fort of her room before I go directly into my room after.
“ You won't hate me by doing this afterwards.  You will thank me instead, El. “ My mom replied.
" Yeah right , just wait for me downstairs mom. " I remark.

I walk towards my closet and grab a spaghetti strap and a short also my towel.
I open the door in my Cr and put my things in the counter. I run as I grab my phone  because I would like to play music while taking a bath.
An hour in the Cr. I get the towel and wear my underwear also I grab my comb that was in the Cr and comb my wet hair. After that, I turn on my blowing to dry my hair. Once my hair was dry, I out my outfit for today. Just a simple as me. I look at my reflection in the mirror and smile before I go directly to the living room  where my mom was waiting.
My mom is sitting at the living room while eating some whole wheat bread and a cup of coffee leading the coffee table.
She is reading a book and she didn't notice my presence because she's so focused.  I clear my throat and said.
“ I'm done, so what should we do now? “ I stated.
“ El! I already prepared the ingredients in the kitchen. Go on, cook a dish. “ I replied as she close the book and grab the cup of coffee with her as she walked with me towards the kitchen.
When we arrive at the kitchen I saw a lot of ingredients like we're gonna make a lot of dishes right now.
" Mom the ingredients are a lot for a one dish only. " I said as I go to the faucet and wash my hands.
" It's okay El , I'll cook also for Allyssa and Amelia because I'll go to their house later on.
" Really? Say my regards to Amelia and her mom. Tell her I miss her ,maybe she can come over if her mother will let her. "
" Sure El , let's start shall we ? " She said and
mix some ingredients as I did my part in cutting some vegetables.
Around 1 in the afternoon . I'm was able to finish cooking and it's tiring . My mom put the dish inside the ref so. Also my mom volunteer to clean the mess in the kitchen. I go to my room and jump at the bed to sleep for an hour before I'll do out tonight with Ash Ron.

Evening **
After we eat our dinner , my mom was currently washing the plates while I'm watching her doing her thing. I was about to ask something to her when my phone suddenly rang. A sign that there's a caller. I look at my phone and saw that it was Ash Ron Mendoza .
I slide my palm finger to slide it as I answer the call. I loudspeaker it so my mother can hear the conversation.
" Hey , why did you called? "
I innocently ask him .
" I'll pick you up later on. What you doing by the way? "
" We just finished our dinner , Why? " I replied.
" I'll pick you up later on.
Around 6:30 so be ready. " he remark before he end the call.
My mom was smiling widely showing her teeth and with her teasing face.
" What? " I uttered.
" Nothing , Enjoy your date El. " She walk towards me as she kiss my cheeks after that she grab the lunch boxes with food and put it in a paper bag and handed it to me.
" This paper bag is for Ash. " She said.
" And those are for Amelia and Tita Allyssa. " I replied as I pointed out the two paper bag at the side of the table.
" Yep,  Go to your room now . You still have a date. " She teased me .
I rolled my eyes and run upstairs to prepare.

I looked at myself in the mirror and saw a gorgeous woman I know. Well, it's me and I can really say that the sales lady know what dress is suitable for me. I put a simple makeup that will match my skin tone and my black dress.  I look at the time, it's still 5 : 10 in the evening. Not only that, but I took a selfie and post it in my Instagram account.
I selected at least 4 photos and write an caption one below.
“ Finding a better one, having a date! “ I type and press the post button after.
After getting dress, I sat on my bed and walk towards the mini library and grab a book to read while waiting. I also prepared a snack also a cup of juice, placed it in my table.
I grab a book of young adult novel and start reading it. I'm on my way to turn the page in the book into page 78 when my phone suddenly vibrate as I heard a doorbell in our main door too. I pick up the phone and answer the call.
“ I'm outside already. “ Ash, Ron stated as he ended up the call.
I grab my wallet with me, inside it is my phone ang the house keys. My mom already left the house before 5. I walk towards the door, as I open it, I saw him wearing a tuxedo.
“ Hey Ash, “ I started a conversation.
He is looking at me. Checking me with his intense stare.
“ Ash, Ron, Am I pretty? “ I ask him as I smiled at his reaction.
“ No, You're a Goddess for me. “ He answered.
“ Really? I'll take that as a compliment. “ I remark as face him.
“ You look so handsome tonight. “ I added.
He looked at me then he look away. Aw! seems like his blushing now.
“ Come on, let's go. “ He answered me attempting to avoid an eye contact with me.
He open the door for me, then I walk inside the car. He closed it and walk towards the driving seat. When he was already sitting in the driver seat, he started the engine and drive the car to where we are heading to.
After an hour of driving, he stopped the car In front of an old style house that made of woods. Countless people outside dancing, talking and it's so noisy because of the beat of the music.
He walked first, then I followed him. He stopped from walking and grab my hands that pull me closer to him, make me hold his hand without thinking.
“ Don't let go. You might get lost here. “ He whispered in my ear that give me chills.
I nod my head in response. We walk towards the door of the house when a beautiful woman wearing a white dress suddenly run towards our direction.
“ Ash Ron, You're Here! “ She exclaimed.
As she reached In front of us she looked at me then her eyes went down looking at my hands intertwined with Ash Ron's hand.
I let go and grab my hand, then look away. Damn, why so awkward.
“ Oh, you bring your girl with you! I'm so happy to see you with someone. “ She started to make conversation.
“ Yeah, by the way, Kelly. This is El, El, she's Kelly. My friend's fiancée. “ Ash, Ron stated.
“ Hi! “ I said as I handed her my hand for a shake hands.
“ It's a pleasure to meet you El, come feel at home. “ She answered, then she grab me with her. I saw Ash Ron followed is where Kelly is taking me.
We entered a room then all the people in there suddenly become silent as they are looking at us,, especially me. Someone with a gray hair stand up from sitting and approach Ash Ron who was standing behind me.
“ Hey bro. So, this is El,, huh? “ He said using his teasing tone.
“ Oh shut up Felix! Go entertain the other visitors at the entrance door! “ Kelly declared, then push Felix towards outside the room.
“ Hi El! Have a sit! “ I girl with black eyes and blonde hair approach me. I smiled at her.
As I observe we are 6 persons plus 2 which is Felix and Kelly who exit the room to entertain their guests and visitors also relatives. While Ash, Ron is talking to a group of man beside the girl that her name is Pearl, she's Kelly's younger sister.
I was silent for the whole time when Ash Ron broke my silent.
“ El this is Demon "he pointed the man on his left side while he pointed a man on his right side.
“ That's Simon, "he said.
“ And he's Jude. “ He added and pointed to the man beside Simon who is busy on his phone playing.
“ It's a pleasure to meet you, El. “ Simon said, then wink at me.
“ Same here. “ I responded.
“ Don't be shy. Btw I'm Gianna. Kuya Jude's Sister. Welcome to the squad. We're, do you live, El? “ A girl with ruby eyes spoke and grab the wine and a plastic cup. She is busy on giving a shot to others while Simon pass it to Ash Ron, who is beside me. Technically, they skip me. Maybe they think I won't drink.
“ Where's mine? “ I asked Gianna.
“ There. “ She said as she pointed her lips t Ash Ron.
“ What, but it's still his turn. “ I stated.
“ Nope, it's yours, he is the one he drank it. “ Felix smiled at me with a teasing voice.
“ Yeah! Why did you drink my shot? It's mine. “ I remark at Ash Ron who is just looking at me, and then he messed my hair by using his hand.
“ Give me some! “ I commanded.
The squad : Felix, Gianna, Jude, Simon, and Damon laugh at me even pearl the ill sister of Kelly.
“ What's funny, guys. Give me a shot! “ I said while handed my open hands on Gianna's direction.
“ Give her at least 5 shots only Gi. “ Ash Ron finally spoke.
I smiled because he is letting me drink but I was taken a back when I realized just five shots when I can finish drink 8 to 10 bottles of cocktail drink! This man is so unfair.
“ Five shots only. You're unfair, Ash Ron… I can even drink 10 bottles of cocktail drink without hesitation. “ I exclaimed.
“ That's a different story. You're broken that time of course you're out of your mind.” Ash, Ron replied.
“ Then what's the difference? “ I asked him.
Raising my eyebrow at him, then rolled my eyes. This man is embarrassing me right now! Damn him.
“ Okay fine. Five shots as you wish! “ I give you p arguing with Ash Ron, I want to avoid being embarrassed further.
After drinking five shots because that's what Ash Ron demanded, and I want to avoid arguing with him because I can sense that the squads are just busy with their doing, but they are listening and even Pearl who was about to drink a lemon juice that was given by Kelly was totally fine before I was busy arguing with Ron, but now her eyes is sparking and twinkling because of the scene she witnessed.
I did nothing but to speak with Gianna. Also, Pearl joint the conversation. They are still in college. And I was amazed because they are both best friend since then. Gianna was busy with her phone texting someone when Pearl jump into the sofa to go near me as she whispered something to me.
“ This is my first time saw kaya Ash is happy ate El. “ She whispered to me.
“ What do you mean by that? “ I asked her.
“ He struggled a lot here in Australia,, but he is doing his best to sustain his family in the Philippines. Were you aware that kaya is living alone in his apartment, but kuyah Felix and Simon decided to live with him? “ She said in a low voice.
“ I didn't know that. What bring him to the bar the day I meet him? “ I asked curious about something.
“ He was actually there to get Felix because he was drunk and couldn't go home by himself,, so he fetched him. “ She answered.
“ But he fetched me instead. “ I uttered.
“ I don't know anything about it. Eight I will go home now. About you po? “ She asked me as he stands up from sitting.
I looked at Ash Ron, who is still speaking to Felix. I turned to Pearl and said.
“ We will, maybe later on Pearl. Have a goodnight. It's a pleasure to meet you! “ I said as I kiss her cheeks and bid my goodbye.
Ash Ron is about to stand up, so do I. I walk towards him and said.
“ Let's go home, Ash. “ I said then wave my hand to the others who are still in the room with us.
“ Go with Ash Ron often, so we can meet again. “ Kelly declared as she gave me a paper bag, a token for guests of their engagement party.
“ Sure will do. I'm not busy after all! “ I said as I kiss her cheeks and whispered.
“ We will be going now. " Ash Ron said as he grab my hand and walk away.
This man is really irritating me. I'm still wanna to talk to the others before going home. Hays
Ash Ron start the engine and the silence is in the atmosphere. I wanted to avoid breaking it, instead I fall asleep because I'm already tipsy because of the drink.
