"I don't if you're ready to hear the truth right now." I said to Charles.
"What truth? Tell me." Charles said, an inquisitive look on his face
"Okay. I'll just like to let you know that... Kendra is actually a clone of Kira." I told Charles.
"What?!" Charles exclaimed loudly.
"Shh!" I hushed him just in case that Kira was present in the house.
"I'll explain everything to you once this is all over." I said to Charles.
"Does that mean my daughter is a clone?" Charles asked in a lower tone.
"I don't know. Let's just find her." I replied and revealed an elavator in the house to Charles' amazement.
"There's more to this family than you think." I said to his surprised face.
"Come in." I said to Charles, after entering the elevator.
Charles went in with me and I pushed a button which made it go down and alerted Charles.
"Calm down. It's an elevator but it goes down instead of up." I said.
"Oh okay, I knew that." Charles said.
"Actually you didn't." I whispered to myself in a way he wouldn't hear.
The elevator stopped at some point and we stepped out of it only to find that I was right about Kendra's being here.
She was tied to a chair and gagged.
I and Charles rushed to her and tried our best to untie her while she kept trying to mumble something. I removed her gag and she shouted "look out! Kids is..."
That was the last thing I remembered happening and the next time I opened my eyes it was to find myself tied to a chair right next to Kendra and Charles as I slowly gained consciousness.
"I see you've finally woken up detective." I heard a voice say.
"Kris!" Kendra exclaimed.
"Oh shut up. We can all see he is awake. You don't need to make it so obvious you love each other." Kira said to Kendra.
"You are truly a wicked hearted person." Kendra said to Kira.
"Aww thanks. I try my best." Kara answered back to Kendra.
"It's good I now have the three, out of five, people I hate most. Kris here just made everything easier for me." Kira said to me, Charles, and Kendra.
"You'll never get away with this. When the police notice this they'll come after us and I'll make sure to expose you!" I said to Kira.
"Expose me?" Kira asked.
Her eyes searched the room as if running mad.
"He... He is going to expose me... The... The police... Oh no!" She spoke in a mocking manner which also sounded like she was crazy.
Kira started to cry and I exchanged confused looks with Kendra and Charles.
We all stared back at Kira as her cries slowly turned into an evil laugh.
"There's nothing you can do to stop me you fool! No one knows about this place other than those who are present here." Kira said.
She walked about a bit then stroked her chin.
"Well... All who are present here except Mr and Mrs Donaldson." Kira added.
"Those two old haggs won't say anything to the police that will actually help you. You see... I've got some dirt on them." Kira said.
"You aren't the only one who has dirt on them. As a matter of fact, I have a whole cement on them and you too." I said to Kira.
"Well well well. What is it that you could ever in your life know about me? Someone you've never been close to. Face the facts Kris. All you know is what I put into your head." Kira said to me.
"What do you mean?" I asked her.
"We never met and got to know each other. All you know about me before getting married to Kendra are things I put into your head." Kira replied.
"I know that already." I said to Kira.
"I'm just glad that what I felt for Kendra was real and always will be." I said and turned to Kendra who smiled tearfully at me.
Kira walked and stood behind Kendra's seat then bent to her ear and whispered something which obviously got to Kendra.
"What is it Kendra?" I asked.
Even Charles looked worried.
"Even if she's a clone?" Kira finally asked and Kendra teared up and looked at the ceiling, unable to speak a word.
"Your stupid facts can't tear them apart Kira so just stop because you are wasting your time." Charles, who had been quiet the whole time, spoke up.
"The truth is that Kris here is a top class detective. There is nothing you will tell him about this case that he doesn't already know. In fact, I'm amazed that even if Kendra is only a clone he still loves her unconditionally." Charles said to Kira.
"Shut up! Shut up all of you! This doesn't work then I'll use another method!" Kira said.
Kira brought out a knife and moved slowly towards Kendra with it.
"Hey! Hey! What are you doing?! I shouted at Kira.
Charles struggled with his ropes but couldn't do anything.
" Stay away from her you maniac!" Charles shouted at Kira.
Kira pulled back Kendra's hair with force and rubbed the knife's blade on Kendra's neck. I could already see the line of blood.
Kira licked the knife then looked at me.
"Sure. One of you must die but unfortunately, Kendra isn't the chosen one." Kira said and let ho of Kendra's hair.
Kira walked towards and then passed me.
She opened a hidden door and pulled out Mirabella, gagged and blindfolded.
"My daughter!" Charles shouted.
"Let her go! Mirabella! No! Let my daughter go!" Kendra shouted with all her might.
"Yes. Your daughter will be made example before your eyes." Kira said.
"Don't you dare lay a finger on her!" I yelled and tried to get up but couldn't. I don't know how but Kira was good with her ropes.
"Haha haha ha!" Kira laughed and Charles fell sideways with his chair while still struggling to reach Kira.
"Please stop Kira." Kendra cried out.
"I'll do anything you want! Just don't harm my baby! Please! I beg of you!" Kendra shouted.
Kendra's face was already covered in tears.
"Kendra please don't say that! You don't know what she might want. We'll get out of this. I promise." I said to Kendra.
"I can't et my daughter get harmed because of my mess. She is still innocent in this cruel world. What am I without my child?!" Kendra cried loudly.
"Quiet! Make your choice! Will you be ready to fulfill my terms?" Kira asked Kendra.
